Great place for a brunch on Sunday when visiting Brooklyn. Sandwiches are great, bagel egg, ham, cheese. Also the Reuben Pastrami was delicious!

Their iced chai latte is very mediocre. Was disappointed. They literally just opened a wrapped tea bag. Poor selection of milk. They could spruce up their chairs a little as well. Pretty run down. I really didn’t want to stay or get anything, but needed to charge my phone before work. Don’t think I’ll ever return.

Good food — poor delivery service. This is a 1.5−2 hour wait. If you can preempt your hunger then this spot is for you. If you’re kind of hungry when you order — you’ll be starving when it arrives. If not — go elsewhere.

NEVER coming here again. It took them 25 minutes to make a simple sandwich and took up my entire break. I had 5 minutes to shove it down my throat and run back to work.

If you want a bagel that tastes like a mildew-filled basement, then look no further! Or how about some tomato soup that’s mealy and pungent? Canteen is the place for you! They should rename their restaurant Latrine because their food looks and tastes like it was made in a toilet!

«The Russian» will hit the spot. Some people like the wonder bread, kraft singles & bologna thing, and just can’t venture outside of that. This deli isn’t for them. A wide selection of gourmet sandwiches is what this place offers. It’s true that the sandwiches are a little on the small side for what you pay, but the quality is better than a lot of the deli’s around here. It’s clean, and the guys working the counter are polite.

I was excited to grab lunch here lol my mistake. almost $ 9 for a wrap the length of my hand, such bs. I didn’t see that the minimum was $ 10 and I wasn’t trying to use their sketchy atm machine so I had to buy a water bottle because every other drink was $ 3 lOLLllOlLlllkk bye the wrap wasn’t even filling. I found like only two sundried tomatoes and there was literally a small spoonful of avocado in it BYE. AGAIN bye, not coming back. p.s the cashier dude was a real diva. next time make sure the card minimum is CLEARLY visible not hidden on the side but regardless, roll back the attitude? next.

Heard it was good and wanted to order in my hotel for delivery. Menu has no descriptions of any of the sandwiches? WTF. Web master FAIL.

The canteen chicken sandwich is great. Fries are amazing; also the tuscan white been soup. Great bagels. Burger not so good; tastes like gyro meat.

This place makes amazing sandwiches. I’m from NJ, so I love my Italian subs a particular way. This is the only place I’ve found in the hood that makes em the way I like it, and stuffs their sandwiches with tasty ingredients! The biggest downside is that they NEVER deliver in under an hour. They’re not far from my apartment, and I’ll usually order two cold subs, and it still takes at least 60 minutes to get to me. That’s the one qualm I have about the place, everything else is great.

I love this place. Awesome gluten free burgers and sandwiches and great smoothies. It’s affordable and they have really fresh ingredients. I eat here like 3 times a week.

My go to spot in the morning. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating, gets their orders and coffee out in an efficient and friendly manner. In general, I go for their coffee and baked goods in the morning(their almond croissant is just about perfect) but their paninis are pretty decent as well. Totally recommend this place if you’re ever in the area and need a quick pick me up.

The owner is friendly, all of the food is fresh, and all of the sandwiches are prepared to order, and made fresh, including the freshly sliced deli meat. Hands-down, the best sandwiches in Brooklyn, with the best fresh delivered baked goods. It is a little pricey at over eight dollars A sandwich, including tax, but well worth the price. Absolutely wonderful, and a very friendly owner at that.

All the food is decent. The prices are all decent. The service is very good. Nothing too extravagant but exactly the type of corner deli sandwich place you want.

Stay away. When I first found this place, I thought I found it all — a clean, well-stocked breakfast place. It might be those things, but it is also duplicitous. Trust not the menu — it is full of lies! I ordered a veggie omelet, which was listed on the menu for $ 4.50. The man behind the counter charged me around $ 7. When I asked why, the man behind the counter theatrically looked at the menu board behind him. «Omelet? Omelet? Where is it?» When that didn’t shake me off, he said: «we charge more on weekends. The sign must have fallen off». Note that the actual printed menu also had no such policy. The food itself — underwhelming, the portions small. I will never come back and you should learn from my mistake.

Ohhh this place is just so bad. Turkey sandwich with one thin slice of mozzarella(that may have been from 1990) was not good. Pretty sure they sent me rancid cole slaw as well. The clam chowder had some weird veggies in it and was very watery(not that I was expecting anything spectacular of a clam chowder from a deli.)

Nice little deli a couple of blocks away from the Atlantic subway stop and near the Barclays Center. Looked up @ the menu and saw a breakfast burrito with chorizo for $ 4.00. The burrito was very good and worth the $ I spent on it. It wasnt huge and it wasn’t too small whereas I would be hungry in a short period of time. They have many specials to choose from here as they have a sign outside that shows you whats on the daily. The guys that work here weren’t too friendly, but it is Brooklyn lol. There are a couple of tables inside so you can sit and eat if you’re not in a hurry.
