Quirky designs, kind of like something you made at camp in the 3rd grade. She uses iron-on shapes to make words and adds photo-type images to make bed linens & kids clothing. The problem is that the iron-ons are stiff and even after washing & putting them in the dryer several times, they really didn’t soften. However, they did end up fading. It’s over priced through stores and online catalogs, but you can get it cheaper during open studio/shop events in DUMBO. The trade off is that you might get into an un-ending conversation with Dale. She’s sweet, but non-stop; though the Brooklyn-Midwood(?) twang is entertaining for a little while. I can’t say I recommend her products, but at times, some of it is cute.

Dale Kaplan is a fun and talented artist who has graced fine boutiques with her adorable children’s clothes and linens. I have sent gifts for babies that were made of natural cotton with the most unique and fun designs. Crib pillows are also amazing. In the world of mundane and polyester, give or get items that are filled with beauty and quality.
