The food here was really disappointing. Ordered chicken flautas and tortilla soup. Both were barely edible and I didn’t finish my meal even though I came in quite hungry. I can’t put my finger on it but the flautas were just off(the chicken seemed spoiled). The tortilla soup has no flavor and was basically clear, with a few peppers and soggy tortilla chips floating around. Only giving an extra star because the prices are insanely cheap, but I guess I know why.

This place has been around for years. The owner a lady is very nice and usually at the register. Products they use are always fresh. There quick on the orders. I don’t like dining in the dining area is a little too dark/gloomy

Authentic only if you’re aiming for a Mexican restaurant in rural England or a Mexican themed potluck dinner at a college housing coop when everyone is broke.

Disappointing. Came in on the way home from work with a friend and ordered the following: chipotle burrito, shrimp quesadillas, shrimp taco, chicken taco, Nachos and shrimp nachos. A good amount of food to fill our bellies and have a bit left over for the next day. At least so we thought. The food was terrible. No seasoning at all! I mean a little salt goes a long way! The chipotle was merely coloured with what could just be food coloring. There was no taste of cumin or pepper or even adobo!!! The burrito had no chicken, I forgot it was supposed to until I got to the ¼ mark and it had a sliver of a shred of chicken. That’s when I decided to dissect it and pulled it open to analyze its contents. Loads of sour cream and rice with a bit of bland pinto beans. The tacos were doused in black beans 1 tiny shrimp hidden under a bed of lettuce wrapped in a flour tortilla, again tasteless. The nachos: chips were burnt, 2 – 3 pieces of shrimp with loads of sour cream, pinto beans and a scoop of watery looking tomato sauce(yes tomato sauce not salsa) and then some pieces of canned not fresh jalapeño peppers sprinkled around for good measure. Still tatsted like cardboard. As we opened the container of quesadillas hoping for redemption… Another container of regret was all it was. $ 30 later we were still hungry and oh so upset with ourselves for no just waiting til we got home and ordering from our fav place.

If you’re looking for authentic mexican food then this is not the place. Food is bland. Will not return.

came here starving, and the food is just mediocre. nothing too great, but not bad either. only problem is that the food made me and my bf sick. we were literally making bathroom visits every couple hours. probably won’t be returning…

Average burrito, been here multiple times and would not return if there was a viable alternative in the area.

Order from here pretty frequently. I live ~12 minute walk away yet I always find myself doing delivery. The food is decent mexican food. I like the quesadillas and enchiladas. Their guac is bomb too! The only thing I would change is the mexican rice– however, that may just be biased toward me. I’ve been inside a few times and service is quick and everyone is nice and attentive to my picky choices(annoying, I know) Delivery is always super fast. Ordered tonight at 7:38 and my food was here and hot at 7:51. Amazing!

This was my third and last time going here. Each time progressively got worse. This time I ordered by phone and the lady running the place simply hung up on me. No price, no time, didn’t take my name. I wouldn’t even care if the food weren’t so sub-par. It’s bland and sloppily prepared. The large-ish portion sizes are offset by the low quality ingredients. Their«pico» is just giant chunks of tomato and onions and I don’t think you can actually call what they serve guacamole. It’s like 50% onions. The kicker this time was the completely dried out tortilla on my burrito. Opened the foil wrapper and it was falling apart and onto the floor. Do yourself a favor and walk to Taco Chulo. It’s legit. Honestly, I’d rather have Chipotle than this place.

Love this place. I’ve been coming here for a few years so it’s about time I leave a review. Cheap prices, big portions, good service. This is a casual Mexican eatery that serves huge burritos, cheap beer, awesome salads and tasty tacos. There’s not a lot of salt going on which is fine because each table is armed with a few different hot sauces. Feels very California and kinda surf shop inside as it is adorned with bumper stickers and mismatched chairs and tables. I always leave happy!

Guacamole is 75% onions. Spinach and mushrooms are microwaved not sautéed. I keep giving this place third fourth, fifth chances and it just keeps disappointing. I’m from California, and I know my Mexican standards can be higher than others, but they don’t even get your order right. Upside is that it’s cheap for larger portions and the staff is super nice…

Fairly average food, though affordably priced. Counter service meant quick service and the seating area was spacious enough to relax while we ate. Not sure I’d come back, but it remains an option if I’m in the area.

I’ve seen some bad reviews here and on Seamless, but we order from here again and again. No, this is not the best Mexican food you’ll ever eat(but wherever that happens probably won’t be NYC anyway – let’s be honest with ourselves). However, the food is decent(we usually keep it simple with veggie burritos and tacos), the delivery is consistently fast(a very big plus), and it’s very tough to beat the prices. To those who’ve said the food here is bland, I say, that’s why god invented hot sauce.

My favorite mexican place. HUGE portions. A burrito usually lasts me two days. Im a vegetarian and they offer a lot of vegan and veg options.

Hearty amounts of food but the spicy beef has some weird texture. I can’t really say this is good food even for tex mex but the prices are decent and they give you a solid hefty portion if you go for a fajita platter.

If your a burrito snob, you’ll be disappointed here. For the rest of us, you can find a few gems when craving a quick, cheap, decent Mexican that conveniently located. Aside from location, the big draw is price point. The crunchy taco’s have the right balance of ingredients and are my go-to aside from their Monterey Burrito, I think it is called(the one with eggs).

I don’t think the bad reviews do this place justice. For me the burritos were always tasty and great portions always filling. Tacos are great here too. The value for what you get is outstanding! The woman behind the counter is always helpful and friendly and for fast food this place is awesome! I nearly always have the crazy chicken burrito or the steak burrito. They guacamole and chips are always satiating too! All types eat here from hipsters, to families to blue collar workers. Atmosphere divey but good and lively. I really do enjoy coming here every time. If you know what to expect and what you are looking for then you will not be dissapointed. A definite comfort food experience.
