Gregory Shifrin, MD

Dr. Shifrin is Excellent Doctor. I have been his patient for 20 years .He is very knowledgeable, has excellent bedside manners. Recently he did my surgery and I was extremely happy with the care I received and he was checking up on me a few times a day and addressed all my concerns. The office staff is very nice and friendly. I will definetely recommend him if you are looking for Doctor who cares about you and knows what he is doing.

Dr Shifrin is an amazing doctor! He took a great care of me during my pregnancy and complicated delivery, always answered all my questions and gave me a call back when he was out of the office but I had some questions. Postpartum care was also great. The stuff is very friendly, they always made me feel very comfortable during my visits. Overall my experience with dr shifrin and his team has been amazing! I will continue coming back for my annual visits and hopefully future pregnancies!

I made an appointment to see Dr. Shifrin today for my annual Pap smear. I confirmed ahead of time with my insurance company that there would be no copay for this visit since it was preventative care. The first words out of the receptionist’s mouth were, «You know there’s a forty dollar copay, right?» Well, no. No I did NOT know. I called up my insurance company to figure out what had changed in the twenty minutes since I had last phoned them. As it turned out, I still did NOT have a copay, however, Dr. Shifrin requires an invasive and medically unnecessary sonogram as part of his routine Pap smear exam. And being a completely invasive and medically unnecessary procedure, my insurance would not cover it. But forty dollars would. Needless to say, I left. Do NOT come here for any reason. all this guy cares about is lining his pockets with whatever money you’re foolish enough to give him.

Absolutely rude, disrespectful, impolite staff at front desk!!! Terrible experience!!! There used to work one GOOD doctor there DMITRY Goncharov. But the appointment was spoiled by the unprofessional, too mean people at front desk. Even the person who was taking my blood acts like I owe her something. If you are in 2 minds go there or not BETTER NOT FOR SURE!!! Girls at front desk, that’s not my first opinion! Learn how to behave itself in front of clients!!! And people who are owing the office, you are loosing your clients because of these Front Desk people! Hire different ladies!!!

Great experience through out my pregnancy and postpartum visits. Staff is very professional. Dr. Shifrin was so caring and kind. Took his time with me and my husband answering all our questions. During labor, my family and I were treated by him like family. He took the time to speak to every single one of us and calm me down during the difficult times. I will defiantly be coming back for future visits and hopefully future pregnancies

If your on Medicaid this office balance bills and screws u. The office manager is a thief! Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Schifrin requested a ridiculous amount of money for his services, namely $ 8000 just for observing the pregnancy; and this not including him coming to the hospital for an actual delivery. It appears that all his fees are greatly excessive and exaggerated about five times comparing to average fees. For a test that costs $ 25 elsewhere, he charges $ 150. When we had a dispute with him, he took us to small claims court. In my opinion, this doctor is more interested in $$$ then in providing a quality medical care and he will stop in nothing and will even sue his former patients. My advice to people is to avoid this doctor at any cost.

Dr Shifrin always makes feel rushed. You speak to his unprofessional front desk more than him. His staff is rude and disrespectful. Don’t waste your time booking an appointment with him. He’s always in a hurry and he doesn’t care about you as a patient.

Horrible experience. He is very unprofessional and uncaring. Stay away!!! He rushes you and moves on to the next patient just to get money.

Dr Shifrin is a great doctor with very good clinical skills and great surgical techniques. Thanks to him, my difficult deliveries seemed easy. Grateful to him and his staff.

I have had a wonderful experience undergoing a pregnancy and birth with Dr. Gregory Shifrin. He is an amazing doctor, who is knowledgeable, patient, and caring. His staff, very familiar with all of the patients, know exactly what the patient needs for her next appointment, is very accommodating, and never had me wait for an appointment. If I had questions, the doctor or his partners called me back within an hour, and if I decided to see the doctor without an appointment due to a concern, I was told to come in right away. The doctor’s lighthearted sense of humor calmed me and my husband down each time. I hate going to see doctors and the pregnancy was very difficult and painful for me, but Dr. Shifrin made it so much easier by explaining everything that I was to expect, calming me down if I had any unnecessary worries, and just being there for me throughout the nine months. On the day that I gave birth, the doctor actually arrived to Methodist hospital before my husband and I did, informed the registration desk to expect us, and was there with us the entire time of my labor, even before I got admitted. He skillfully guided me during labor, and I trusted his judgement. I had complete confidence in Dr. Shifrin, and will continue to be his patient.
