I tried
for the first time on Sunday. I feel like my life has changed forever for better. For the first time since I moved to New York my clothes actually came back CLEAN! They were undamaged, soft and smelled good. And not only that, but they got picked up and dropped off at my house. Happiness!

The high reviews on Unilocal gave me a lot of hope for this place, but my experience doesn’t jibe with what others are saying. Yes, the online ordering process is smooth, there are a lot of options, and the service is prompt. But none of that makes up for the fact that all my laundry came back smelling strongly of detergent, to the point of making me mildly nauseous (and I had selected the additive-​free hypoallergenic detergent — I can only imagine how bad it would be if I had selected a scented detergent). I had to immediately go to a laundromat and redo it all myself. Never using this service again.

This place is amazing. My family prefers to use the detergent pods because of sensitive skin, and this place always uses them. The clothes smell as wonderful as when I do laundry in a home machine. I have used all the drop laundry places on 7^th ave, and they never smell like my detergent or dryer sheets. I can instantly tell that this place follows my laundry directions. I will never give my laundry to anyone else.

I’ve been washing my bedding and towels through
for over a year now and the service is really great. While I was initially kind of nervous about the online booking and payment process, my experiences with them have been nothing but solid. I also like that they have been working regularly to improve their service by adding new drivers and making their pickup/​drop-​off windows even more flexible than they already were.
I’ve used them about 1 – 2 times per month, and they have always been on-​time. The laundry also comes out great! Everything feels so clean, and is folded with care. On their website, you can choose from a lot of different detergents (including hypoallergenic and organic) and specify other washing and drying preferences. They do seem to adhere to these preferences.
I’m really happy I gave this service a try and I highly recommend it. I guess the price is a little bit higher than drop-​off places, but life in the city already has so many moving parts without adding me carrying a 20lb sack of laundry down the street in heels to the mix. And then rushing home early from work to retrieve this sack. I truly appreciate the simplicity of dirty laundry disappearing and clean laundry reappearing at my doorstep, and I think you will too.

The good news is that online ordering is convenient, they almost always fold everything nicely, and make some effort to sort out one person’s clothes from another’s, the detergent selection is great (they could stand to have another softener options or two), and the service is generally fast. We have, however, had them outright miss a delivery. Also, twice now they’ve claimed our buzzer isn’t working, but when we’ve tested it, it’s been completely fine; we never have issues with other deliveries, in fact, usually do not have problems when they pick up or drop off our laundry, and, furthermore, we have a buzzer that is absolutely, ear-​shatteringly unmistakable when buzzed. They will call to let you know they’re there, but I generally keep my phone ringer off, so that doesn’t work so well for us, personally. If you’re the kind of person who leaves their ringer on, you should be aces on that count.
They have shrunk a few things, and lost a few items over the months we’ve been using them, and we occasionally end up with other people’s items as well. We’re actually down to almost no matched socks for our youngest kid, but for larger items, it hasn’t been too much of a problem. A couple of shirts, a belt. They did give us a small credit and, after many days of email exchanges, an apology the first time we noticed a mixup, but it really wasn’t worth the time and hassle to bother with a complaint again.
Relatedly, customer service is kind of unpleasant to deal with, and that’s my least favorite part about this business. They will argue with you that your items aren’t lost, that it shouldn’t be possible with their particular system, despite your conviction that it is indeed possible, as you’re standing there, unmistakably holding another person’s clothes in your hands. In my experience, they will make no effort to track down your missing items. They will say that they rang your buzzer, even though you know that it is impossible that they rang the buzzer because the sound of the buzzer is so jarring that it makes your heart momentarily stop, even all the way on the other end of the apartment, and you will question the very nature of being. After logging many bygone years in service and retail, I’m no proponent of «the customer is always right» philosophy, but I do think that it’s important not to flat out deny a problem when a patron tries to bring it to your attention.
I must say that the driver who does our pickups and drop offs is a very nice guy, so be sure to tip your delivery people! (Any and all of them, from any place that delivers things to you!) I really want to give
more stars, because the convenience is a pretty big deal for me, but I just can’t get down with the ontological debates about our door buzzer at 8:30 in the morning.

Been using them for over a year and have always had a good experience. The drivers are on time and very nice (tip them if you can!). They have been nice and flexible if we have a re-​scheduling emergency. Most importantly, our clothes feel nicely washed when we get them, and nothing has ever been lost.

Only suggestion I would have is to have real time online booking. That way, there wouldn’t need to be correspondence back and forth.
Overall, extremely happy with everything. Would recommend using them if you don’t have time to lug your clothes to a brick and mortar laundromat.

I’ve been using these guys for a few years now and I could not have survived as a new mom without them! Their online service has improved so much and It’s easy to place an order and specify times for pickup and drop off. They have great choices for baby friendly detergent and you can accrue laundry bucks that can be used for future orders. Our laundry always comes back on time and folded nicely. They are a bit more in price per pound, but totally worth it. I’d rather be spending quality time with my family then doing loads of laundry.

I love these guys. Scheduling is a breeze on their site, they’re always on time, fair prices (only a few cents more than my local wash&fold sans delivery.) You can usually get your laundry picked up, washed, and delivered in the same day, if not the next morning. Multiple choices for detergent and softener (included in price), including the hypoallergenic, organic, local soap that Park Slopers love.
They were a real lifesaver when I sprained my wrist and couldn’t lug 3 bags of laundry to the laundry mat.

When the laundromat down the street from my apartment closed, I had no idea what I was going to do. The next closest place is quite a walk away and much smaller.
I’m new to New York, and I had never used a laundry service before. I’m so glad I took a chance on this company. I live in Boerum Hill and when I signed up on the website, I got an email confirming that my address is in the delivery zone and my account was active. They also gave me a credit for my first use.
I’ve used them for 5 months now and I’m sold. Setting up pick up and drop off times is easy. I can specify detergent brands, softeners, bleach, and drying temp for no extra charge. The laundry is picked up, the next day I get an email with my total, I pay online, and it’s dropped off hours later.
They have always been on time. My clothes are always clean and folded much better than I could ever do. Every sock is always accounted for. And I spend about the same per month as I did when I was dragging my laundry to the laundromat and spending hours sitting by machines.

This place is great. Picked up and dropped off on time after scheduling online– they even offered same day service for free! You can choose any detergent you want, and they’ll even air dry delicate clothing. The pricing is very reasonable, and everyone I dealt with was very nice.

Two words– absolutely amazing! I just found out about this company less than 48 hours ago and I’ll be a loyal customer for my many laundry sessions to come. The go-​to laundry solution for convenience is exactly what it is. i signed up Tuesday night– scheduled my pick up for Thursday morning– drop off for Thursday night and there is was. Very professional from start to finish– and friendly too!- I would definitely recommend!

I placed my order over the phone, although you may choose to do it via their website, chose a date and a time and all went smoothly. I received my laundry back clean, and superbly folded. Yippee! Oh happy day!

I’ve been using
for years to do my laundry. lately, I’ve only been using them to wash my sheets (they can fold a king sized sheet set into a tiny little square!) and bulkier items, because there is a laundromat just steps from my house.
Every time I have used them, they have never lost an item, they fold like a dream and everything comes back in perfect condition.
I took away one star because they’re not always on time – I don’t blame the driver, it IS hard to find parking in my neighborhood, but when I request an earlier time slot to avoid the 9 PM drop off (I have a kid!) they still only give me the 7 – 8 PM option, which usually turns into 8:30−9 PM. Other than that, perfect.

I didn’t even have a chance to do business with them. Despite their claim that they service Prospect Heights I got a «Sorry we don’t service there due to parking difficulty» email. This is after I went through the detailed order screen with the first, second and third date/​time choices. I called and someone told me he’d try to get in touch with the sender and that I’d hear back in half an hour. An hour later I called again and was told that the truck won’t go around Grand Army Plaza Circle and that they can’t list «every street they don’t service.»
I have to wonder if this is the standard response they give to people with the wrong zip code. Is this a case of false advertising?

I need to downgrade… upon first arriving in NYC this biz was the bomb, but after further though it’s not really THAT awesome.
It’s good. Of course.
But, having to schedule an hour time slot on both ends for pick up and delivery, pay cash (you run a website service, credit cards shouldn’t be THAT hard!) and the guy doesn’t even come up the stairs to drop off or pick up? Eh. I can just haul it a few doors down to the laundromat for about ¾ the price and 100 percent less headache in scheduling.
Still a decent option if you are far from a laundromat.
