I didn’t consume enough of the free hot dogs while downing friendly, and free, shots of whiskey and ended up vomiting in the shrubs in front of this lovely establishment. The shrubs were just the right height, hid my drunken negligence well, and even had some good structural soundness to it as it held me up a few times I kinda smooshed into it.

i love this bar in all its forms, i still accidentally call it lulu sometimes. the pizza is fine, great if you’re drunk and hungry. i heard the games are coming back. i can’t wait. i was so sad when they reopened and there were no games! the bartenders are great, the space is huge, the pizza is free, and the beer is cold.

Lost and Found is an okay place to go if you’re already drunk and need an activity. Otherwise, the other people in here will make you want to move. Skeeball is cool, but one of the machines is broken so sometimes there is a line. The other night there were people there playing«Jump onto the couch a lot», and I felt like I was babysitting or something. I’m in my early twenties, and I love spontaneity, but generally the crowd here is enough to keep me away. The prices are average, and I like the little cove area in the front with a window, but sometimes it smells.

This is a really great bar — I wish I got myself out here more often. The drinks are good, it’s always hopping on the weekends, and quite often there is a band playing on the second floor. One of the times I was here, there was a rock band playing crazy music upstairs — not my usual type of music — but the band was really good & the energy was infectious. Everytime I’ve been here I’ve had a really great time. This is a laid-back, unpretentious fun place to hang out!

I liked this place… skiball, decent music, photobooth… both good and crappy beer. We tried to go play Skiball last night and the place was totally shut down… is this place closed for good?

My favorite bar. Free dogs with every beer? You can’t beat that. Jukebox is killer(when its working) and the staff often just pays their ipods, which is fine cause they all have great taste in music. Photobooth is always fun, as is pinball, pooltable and EFFINGSKEEBALLDUDE. Occasionally they have free shows on the second floor and I actually discovered one of my new favorite bands there. Get there early for a killer happy hour, but beers are always reasonably priced and they have a great selection on draft. Cheap cans though and $ 3 High Life, so you won’t go broke. I’ve only seen the place packed when there’s been shows. Other than that you can sometimes find you and your friends being the only ones there on a Friday night. Love it. Best bar in town.

Hipster bar(overused phrase I know but it fits) wearing the clothing of a dive bar. But I liked it. Bartender was friendly and open late. Oh yeah and they have free hot dogs with your beer. I say no thanks but maybe after a few beers…

I must admit, I’ve only been here once, but I had a fab time! The space is laid out perfectly for hanging with the homies and, from what I remember, the drinks were reasonably priced. It’s a pretty standard bar as far as Greenpoint goes; a random mix of hipsters, Polish neighbors and the odd Manhattanite. The atmosphere was welcoming and unpretentious. But by far, the standout attribute of Lulu’s is the skee ball upstairs! Skee ball is totally my carnival game of choice and the opportunity to combine this nostalgic vice with one of my other vices(read: booze)… well that garners at least 3 stars in my book!

The diviest of dive bars. I walked in and the smell hit me. Perhaps it was the free hot dogs served with your drink… perhaps it was because most of the clientele hadn’t showered — really it’s anyone’s guess. The three bands that played were loud. And not my type of music — I was here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. While I can appreciate that this is totally some people’s schtick, it was NOT for me! If you like the other reviews I have, chances are you’re not going to love Lost & Found(previously LuLu’s)… I give it two stars for having video games, skeeball(childhood favorite!) and a photo booth. The free hot dog thing just creeps me out. And this was the first place EVER in the world to serve my Stoli Razz & Sprite in a STYROFOAMCUP. That’s just weird.

1 Star for… this is it? I’ve only been here once, so I may not be entirely qualified to give a fair review. The dude I went with thinks it’s the greatest bar ever, but he may have terrible taste, and I’m not really friends with him anyway so whatever. In MY experience, it was filthy, and dead, and had a lot of «fun» stuff that was not in working order. Yeah, their skee ball machines were shut off, their Big Buck Hunter was out of order, their photobooth was unplugged, and they had a jukebox but were using the bartenders ipod instead. We walked in at around 10pm on a Thursday night. It’s Greenpoint, shouldn’t people be out drinking? Apparently they were everywhere but here, because we were literally THEONLYPEOPLE in the bar. Two bartenders glanced up with really bitchy looks. The dude I was with thought he was a «regular» because he came there often, but they were totally unfriendly to him and it was really awkward because he seemed to not mind. I was like ummm wtf these guys are weird(all of them, dude included). Bad start to the evening I guess. So yeah, then we got reasonably priced drinks(didn’t partake in the free-hotdog offer because we’d already had dinner, but also they didn’t mention it — we just saw signs) and wandered around the ginormous open two-story place and poked around at all the non-working fun stuff. Dude claimed that«usually» said stuff was working. So why not on a Thursday? My feeling is that if you’re gonna look and feel like a closed and empty bar, maybe you should just close. This place might be the greatest time ever on a Saturday, with a crowd, different bartenders, and working stuff. «Might» being the operative word. I myself am not planning on giving it another try, though. Why bother? There are a million other fun bars in this area. Hell, I’d rather drink out of a paper bag on a stoop. Is that too harsh? Oops :)

Maybe I was there on a bad night, but something about this place was off. Between the loud headbanging music, the creepy old man who kept touching me and my friends within five feet of the bouncer(who did absolutely nothing), causing one of my friends to actually leave out of disgust and frustration at being harrassed, and this guy who was lingering around with blood pouring from his face, Lost & Found did not set us up for a relaxing hang-out sesh. There was just something aggressive in the air.

You gave me a free hot dog. You did not give me a job. You were not so friendly. Your music was LOUD. I give you a 3 out of 5, Lost and Found. A generous 3. And I don’t intend on free hot-dogging more.

This bar has invented its own category– the circusdive bar. Pretty awesome that you can get a free hot dog(they even have veggie ones) with any beer. AND there’s skeeball and a photobooth. It’s super fun to hang out on the top level and stare down at everyone who comes in. Greenpoint Av & Franklin is a fun little corner, indeed.(this bar, Coco 66 and the Pencil Factory).

Wow… I wrote a review of this place back when it was called Lulu’s…and it was so much better. Once Lulu’s changed its name, redecorated its interior, shuffled things around inside and got more bar games, it became hipster mecca. I liked this place so much more when it wasn’t nearly as crowded and wasn’t crawling with people wanting to be seen. I do like the small nook in the front of the bar in which, if you and your friends are lucky enough to snag, you can hide out from the rest of the crowd. It used to be so easy to pop into the bar in and play a few games of pool — there were originally two pool tables, but one was removed so they could build a small stage for live music. Now it’s hard to find the pool table unused. They still have skee ball, Big Buck Hunter, and some other arcade games, as well as the free hot dog/veggie dog with each drink purchase. I’m blasting the place in this review, but I feel a little guilty about it. This used to be my favorite neighborhood bar, and then it became really popular… so, good for them for doing well, but I’ll steer very clear on weekends when the place is at its craziest.

Oh holy jesus my liver will never be the same*#@! I wander into this place one night after a class in the neighborhood and am instantly taken with its demure dive-bar charms. You have the outrageously good selection of pitchers priced at $ 15 across the board. Then theres the happy hour where pints are a mere $ 2.50. Oh and lets not forget hot dogs kept warm in a crock pot that are free with each drink you buy. So if this was where the fun stopped I would say another great bar not in my neighborhood so what? Well then I meander upstairs where they have two dilapitated skeeball machines that are 25 cents a game and apparently score in klingon. On tuesday nights from 10-midnight skeeball is free and the highest scorer wins a thirty dollar bar tab the subsequent tuesday. Seriously? Do you really need to be giving me more reasons to drink and waste my life away playing skeeball on tuesday nights? Suffice it to say that is where I will be found every tuesday night from now until, say, forever… Also check out their«brunch» which is every Saturday and Sunday and consists of a free bagel accompanying each fantastic bloody mary you buy. To those folks out there who are like wtf? the bar on that corner is called lulu’s this is partially true. It used to be called lulus but recently changed management and in this humble man’s opinion has been on the upswing ever since.

There are few reasons for me to leave Manhattan. Brooklyn is seething with hipsters, and is not even the cool underground scene that attracted the misfits it once was. Regardless, I do admit to having some hipster friends. Sigh. Anyway, I was roped into an excursion to Green Point, and had a delightful time at Lulu’s. The skeeball is hilarious, the beer is pretty cheap, and the hot dogs are dirty delicious. Just watch out for the nastiest bathroom this side of the east river. I emerged Lulu’s victorious, yet somehow decked out in black eyeliner and asymmetrical bangs.

Although the only reason that I stopped in this place is because I had to retrieve keys from my roommate, I’m looking forward to going back here.(Hence the three star review.) Pool tables, an obvious selection of various fried foods(or an air freshener that smells distinctly of french fries), and(for those interested) a seemingly full bar. The atmosphere though is rather nice for the area– you’d almost expect some run down hole-in-the-wall for the area– but its surprisingly interesting there. A perfect place to sit and chat about the Greenpoint warehouse fire site, which is less than 15 blocks away.
