I wish there were more dog friendly places like LuckyDog. It’s got a great patio, friendly bartenders, decently priced drinks(ish) but what makes it truly a gem is that they are not just dog friendly, they are dog loving! I LOVEEEETHISPLACE!!! Long Live Woobies!

This place is AMAZING for dog lovers, beer drinkers and cool people who like to have fun. If those three categories describe you, you need to come here. This trendy, casual bar in Williamsburg is a dog haven; I think the owners have two dogs who roam free, and customers bring their dogs to play with each other or sit close by. There’s an adorable patio out back where humans and dogs can sit or run around, and there’s shuffleboard and games to borrow(though chess is missing a lot of pieces). Even though I’m more of a cat person, I could not help falling for the friendly, chill brown poodle who obligingly let me pet him all night.

Great bar: outdoor patio /backyard area and you can bring your dog. Perfect dive. Sometimes live music. Pin ball machine. Shuffle board. Good beer shot combos. Vanessa’s dumpling across the street for when your hungry. Great beer selection. Great for a low key spot to hang, pet some dogs, and grab a drink with friends!

I love this place! I went here for the first time on Tuesday and fell in love. Happy hour was great, the bartender was sweet and the patrons were all super cool. I brought my puppy and while he was vocal at first, he got settled down and made tons of new friends.

Basically a dog bar with some people in it. Pretty decent beer list, has an outdoor patio out back that’s large and small outdoor seating in the front too. Loved the bouncer, super chill.

If you’re lucky enough to find yourself here on a Sunday, reward yourself with the best Bloody Mary in Williamsburg… Hands down my go-to place for bloodies. And for $ 7 you can’t beat it.

I was there on a Sunday night at 11pm. It was pretty full, almost packed! I love this place. Has a good, weathered-wood bar, a shuffleboard table, some pinball machines, a jukebox with some good, manly music(like Hank Williams) and great people and dogs. The poodle/cocker spaniel mix named Charlie was my favorite dog. He was so nice!

Pretty cheap draft beers and pretty crowded. I didn’t see any dogs though maybe I just missed them all.

Love this place– Puppies, bagels and Booze every sunday, and live jazz, country and misc. folk music on the weekends!(I may or may not be one of the jazz musicians in question). Go pet a strangers dog and drink yourself into the ground to the tune of Johnny Cash and Tom Waits blasting from their awesome jukebox late into the night after the bands end.

After accidentally and spontaneously walking across the Williamsburg bridge(damn that is a long bridge), my bf and I were in search of refreshment. How pleasantly surprised were we to find at luckydog not only plenty of refreshment but also a courtyard strung with lights and filled with puppies and dogs gamboling about?! The laid back wooden benches and string lights in the courtyard –plus dogs running under your legs– makes it feel more like a neighbor’s backyard than a bar. We saw a couple eating Chinese food so I assume they allow you to bring in your own food from other places? I also saw a dog snatch a bagel out of a girl’s hand, so maybe eat at the next place… The band playing inside was also pretty excellent, but with the first peek of good weather they didn’t have as large an audience as they deserved– everyone was outside enjoying the cute & hidden patio space.

PUUUUPSSSSSS. This bar had nice bartenders, low-key vibes, a great patio, and decently priced drinks. It was freezing when we visited, but we took to the patio anyway and spent the evening out there. It was still cozy, but this would be my jam during the summer. The bathrooms were kind of nasty, but it could have just been the crowd, as the place was packed on a Friday night. I will confirm this next time I go. Above everything, this bar is dog-oriented, so go and admire cute pups while you sip a vodka soda.

I’m probably biased because this place is so close to my apt, but it’s great here. Divey, appropriately grumpy and yet really nice bartenders, and a free shuffleboard table. Nice back patio and usually cute dogs running around. I love every door guy I’ve talked to here. Even dragged myself outside during the blizzard and semi-ice-skated my way over to plow through a line of tequila shots. Only downside is the bathrooms are gross, but that’s to be expected. There’s some real douchebags here sometimes, but I can’t fault a place for the clientele and usually ignore them. If you can’t ignore, challenge them to a game of shuffleboard(they always think they’ll win) and then wipe the floor with their faces.

If you love dogs, reasonably priced drinks, and free shuffleboard, you have found your second home here. My boyfriend took me to this bar(knowing my insane love for puppies) and it did not disappoint. Not only does the bar fulfill my desire for cute dogs in sweaters, but they have a good beer selection for good prices and free shuffleboard in the back. If it wasn’t so cold out, they have a great backyard area to hang out in. It’s great to have a place that you can bring dogs(since they so often keep you homebound) and still enjoy a night out. Dog owners and dog lovers can rejoice.

I recently went here because this is my friends favourite place to grab a drink near her place. She had me at «dogs allowed in bar». If anyone really knows me they know I love two things; dogs and good beers. Even though this particular night there were no pups around I still fell in love with this little nook. I think this is the first time, in a long time I sat right at the bar. Usually we just grab a table but this place doesn’t really have a surplus of seating. Also I have to note that the bouncer was one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time! He saw all of our IDs and we told him we were from Toronto and it just so happens he has a lot of family around there. Small World! Next time I’m there I hope I get to hangout with some cool dogs. EDIT: Well I just read some other reviews So I guess I wont be seeing any dogs soon :(Boo Health codes!

Are you a dog lover or owner? Are you a lover for cheap beer & shot specials? Do you like shuffleboards? Do you like outdoor patios? WELLIFTHEANSWERISYES to any of these questions make your way here. I love how I was greeted by the most beautiful husky. The bartender here mistook my order for two low-lifes(shot of whiskey + high life) for two budweisers but she let me have it with a shot for the same price. Talk about customer service! She did it all with a smile too. The people in this bar aren’t snooty. Just laid-back and easy to talk to. The patio is literally heaven on earth. I don’t have a dog because I own a cat but the back patio is doggy heaven! Dogs just roaming free everywhere. Very chill owners come here. I’m so grateful for them introducing their dogs to me! Someone please lend me their dog to take them here?!

What a lovely establishment that welcomes our four legged family members. A wonderful little patio out back, we stopped over Labor Day weekend on Sunday morning for pre-brunch cocktails and it was a fun place. I would definitely come here if I lived in the neighborhood.

Dogs. Reasonably priced drinks. Christmas lights. Shuffleboard. Pinball. A graffiti-laced bathroom. Huge backyard patio. YASSSS! Points off for smoking being allowed(or, if not allowed, then at least happening) in said backyard patio, however. Points regained for getting to play with some guy’s pitbull and feed him treats! I’d def make this a regular Williamsburg bar in my rotation.
