I have been coming here for years. Ci Ci and Jamie are my favorite although they are all equally talented masseuses. After spending time in China, I feel like this is the closest massage to what I got there. If I tell them where my pain is they always try to address it and work it out. Today Ci Ci gave me extra loving attention to my shoulder joint, down to my hand and up to my head. She was very firm and strong yet I felt taken care of with gentleness in the right ways. Thank you Ci Ci! If I was a millionaire I would go everyday!

ive been going here for a couple of years, with mixed reviews, but basically worth price. i always keep my underwear in to avoid inappropiate behavior. last week was probably the last time ill go there. i walked in and was told to come back in 30 mins, ther was one woman in front of me. i returned in 25 minutes, and was told that it would be another 1 hour… by a different(horrible) woman. i told her that i was there earlier and the guy told me to come back in 30. instead, she called a man in, who came in after both myself and the other woman. the ither girl waiting was pissed off as well. the worst part, was how rude the woman was towards us. she was yelling at the other workers, terrible environment. finally i left. time to definitely find a new place. no excuse for their rudeness and un-professionalism.

Honestly, although I have had bad experiences in the past, gotta be honest I still go to this place, haha. It’s close to where I live and the masseuses are good and it’s a good deal.

This place is the worst! Seriously. Don’t go here. The massages are hit and miss. Obviously we aren’t dealing with licensed massage therapists and sometimes you get what you pay for. But the customer service is terrible. The last time I went in, I tipped 15% on the pre-taxed amount. The lady had the nerve to stand there and argue with me about the tip! AREYOUKIDDINGME!!! she actually got out a calculator to try to show me that I should leave more. She completely ruined any feelings of relaxation I had from the massage. I finally told her that 20% is for people who aren’t rude and don’t argue with their customers over the tip. Too bad because while I was getting my massage I was thinking I should get these more often. Now, I’ll never go back to that place.

My mother and my mother-in-law visited us in the neighbourhood, they had 15 min back /feet massage. They were charged 60 $ per person incl 20% tip. Credit card machine was not functioning. Not cool to rip off seniors. Way to go neighbour !! Will spread the word !!

This place might look a bit dodgy from the outside but it’s really great! It’s definitely no frills but the prices are unbeatable. $ 30 for 30 min, $ 40 for 40 min, $ 60 for 60 min massage etc. You’ll occasionally be taken out of your trance by a loud customer walking in but at such a cheap massage you can’t really complain about that. I love this place bc I can go regularly bc the price is so fair. I go to Peter, he’s AMAZING. All the other girls are really good too. I always leave there feeling refreshed and relaxed. You can walk in and pretty much always get a massage right away. I have tried their acupuncture and again the price was great but I wouldn’t do it again.

This place has been hit or miss for the last two years. But this last year there have been way too many misses, I needed a few more massages to get my free one so thought I will put up with them until then… NOPE, I don’t even want my FREE massage from this place. I seriously need to find a new spot. The last straw was being tagged teamed(switched masseuses) after about 15 minutes. The first 15 minutes was good I remember thinking I have to get her name and then someone who I can only describe as a «trainee» took over. It was so bad I actually ended the session early! He clearly did not know what he was doing. Sadly, he is NOT new I had seen him there for at least a year. *Until today I HAVENEVER walked out earlier on a 60 min massage… I am not even cashing in my free massage… F this place.

This WAS my go to spot. I have some back muscles that get tight and they have given them a good work out in the past. There is a woman there now with grey teeth that was all about the bottom line and not very good. I will NEVER use her again. She pushed really hard to up sell me part way through the massage. The first part of the massage wasn’t that good and it went down hill from there. I am wondering if she was even trained now. The best part was when she used the calculator to tell me what her tip should be. I walked out with my back still in knots and over $ 100 lighter.

As you walk in, the place is as no frills as it gets. But don’t let that scare you off by any means. I called ahead to just check when they were open and if I needed to make an appointment for a back massage. I was told I could simply walk in. Half an hour, I arrive and am immediately shown a room where I could disrobe and lay down. The massage was excellent and did not feel invasive at all. I was incredibly comfortable the entire time and was even more impressed by the price($ 50 for an hour-long massage). I simply give it 4-stars since the atmosphere is a bit less than desirable and one can really only listen to pan-flute music for so long before you start to try and figure out what popular song it is covering. But overall, a very professional and relaxing experience that I would recommend.

Seeing the varied experiences other Unilocalers have had I thought it might help people if I shared my experience too: I have a pesky recurrent shoulder/neck pain thing; at other times in the last 5 years I’ve decided putting my body through multiple marathons was a good idea and still have some residual injuries from that. I’ve been going here for 3+ years. Initially I had a couple different female masseurs and they were consistently good; I’ve generally found tui na to be the best type of bodywork for my specific issues so this wasn’t surprising. One time I went and had David(I believe the young man referred to in some other reviews). I had a cold that I thought was getting better but when I was laying on the table I became a sniffly mess. I am ok with not wearing underwear b/c from running I need a lot of work on my hip flexors and gluts. Both David and the women here massage the very medial(inside) thigh(basically where your thigh meets your crotch). This area is often tight on me from running and walking a lot so I’m grateful that they work on this area. However, I was offended by a couple parts of this massage but didn’t speak up as I wasn’t sure if it was being done with a sexual intention or maybe a different culture standard. The two things were 1) when using a hot towel to wipe off my body he wiped down my butt crack(can’t think of a more mature term right now). 2. He touched my breasts when massaging my frontside(also included shoulders, abdomen, etc. which I was fine with). He didn’t make any sexual comments and seemed very focused on the massage. I was confused. Outside of these two things that freaked me out, it was by far the most thorough and precise massage I’ve ever gotten. All of my injured body parts felt great after. I did some internet research and learned that abdomen massage as part of tui na is typical and thought to benefit digestion. I hypothesized that the massage of my front side was also focused on lymphatics and I wasn’t certain that the breast touching was sexual(I am a doctor and remembered thinking that he was following lymphatic chains during the massage and wondered if that was tailored to me obviously having a cold, I’m also a dork). Because I was training for a marathon I needed a massage again a couple weeks later and went and requested a female masseur(I wasn’t convinced David had been inappropriate so this was my temporary solution). However, my back was so messed up that the woman tapped out and asked David to step in and fix me. I thought about refusing but then decided to have him complete the massage and just made it clear that I didn’t want him to massage anywhere near my breast or abdomen. He just shrugged and then accommodated my request. Now I seek out David when I go and have probably had 10+ additional massages from him. He doesn’t wipe with the towel as intimately anymore. I never said anything to him about that but I wonder if he just got socialized over time to do that in a different way. Since that first time I’ve never felt anything was inappropriate. It also continues to be the most therapeutic body work I’ve ever had. He knows his anatomy incredibly well and is just very precise in how he targets and resolves areas. In fact the last time I was there, he wasn’t available and 2 people called asking specifically to make an appointment with him.

Honestly, I should be writing a letter to the cops and not to Unilocal, but for me, this is a place to begin. I was violated in this place. The male masseur was HIGHLY inappropriate in his massage. He insisted I remove my underpants so that he could access my lower back and outer glutes. Okay, fine. I am not particularly shy. Unfortunately, after about half an hour of what was otherwise a decent massage, he also put his hand between my legs. This was not an accidental graze, it was deliberate and INCREDIBLY violating. I promptly kicked my legs furiously and got off the table. This was a violating experience and I would tell any woman to stay clear of this establishment. Protect yourself.

The beds are too hard to really be comfortable but for the price, it’s a good massage. The acupuncturist is great but has no bedside manner. He’s very authentic, doesn’t speak english well and knows his stuff. For $ 50 you cant go wrong! He’s really helped me fix my headaches!

Bummed out. I have been to this place a few times and have had a range of experiences. Once with a male masseuse who was beyond inappropriate. A few with females who were alright and then tonight, which drove me to write this. The female masseuse was good… if I could ge her to actually stay in my room. First of all, it was only a 30 minute massage. During that time, she left the room 4 times. Not only that, but left the room, answered the phone and brought it back into the room and continued to give me a one handed massage, switching hands between touching and holding the phone(eeew) and yakking away, for more than a few minutes. In between her leaving the room, she was yelling back and forth with other workers, and the icing on the cake is when another woman came into my room to argue with my masseuse with the curtain hanging open and me being nude on a table. I mean, I get it, you have to pop your head out to greet a guest, maybe once during my Massage, but 4 times within 20 minutes?! I finally said stop. Enough. I’m done when the phone got picked up again! That was with 4 minutes left. The woman preceded to walk back into the room twice while I was trying to get dressed. I’m sorry, but I’m there for a massage that is private, quiet, sanitary and in it’s entirety. It’s a bummer that the service is so unpredictable… otherwise I would be a fan.

On a whim, I decided to get a 1 hour back massage here. I’m so glad I did! The price is a steal for the quality of massage you receive($ 50). My masseuse was attentive and aware of where I carry stress on my body. I’ve very happy with the service and will be returning again.

Update: I went back and was able to get in touch with the owner over the phone. He was very nice, listened to my complaint and said he would have to speak with his staff to find out what happened but would call me back. The very next day he called me, he informed me that he would be firing the masseuse and not only did he want to give me a full refund, he also offered a gift certificate to come back if I wanted to. I never expected such a response. He really took my complaint seriously, took the time to figure out what happened and acted quickly. While I am not happy someone lost their job, I am happy the owner does not want someone unprofessional working for them.

I have had such bad luck with tui na massage lately, but this place was recommended by a friend so I had to try it. Both me and my husband had excellent hour-long massages(for $ 50). Without even asking, she was able to tell where my tension was(upper back) and she went to TOWN kneading out those knots. Tui na can sometimes really hurt, me but this felt amazing. I will be back.

The place like the other Chinese massage spots in the neighborhood looks pretty sketchy, if not creepy, but the staff is super friendly and while English is clearly not their first language, they have the basics and good customer service down. This spot is definitely no frills. The floors are carpeted and the rooms have curtains for doors, but the massages are incredible. My roommate and I went in the evening for 15 minute massages($ 15 for 15 min– sweet). Both of of less super relaxed. She got a male masseuse, possibly Bob as mentioned in the previous two reviews, and I got a female masseuse. I was a bit skeptical of how much someone could accomplish in 15 minutes, but she was amazing. Every spot she touched was a knot that she worked out. I could have easily gone for another 15 minutes, but I had to work waiting for me back home(this is why I need massages).

Bob. Is. Amazing. It was as if he was listening to my tension before annihilating it. He quickly found where I carry all of it and checked in — just enough — to be sure everything was ok. I will absolutely be back. Again and again. Incredibly affordable so be sure to tip extra well.

I was so excited to Unilocal about this place after I got my massage today! Since I was short on time today, I only got 15 minute back massage today because I was eager to find a fantastic massage place in this area, And let me say it was the best 15 minute massage ever! The place was clean, the space was serene(no noisy car/truck sounds unlike other Williamsburg massage places), the towel they used to cover me was legit, the staff was friendly, my room was nice and spacious. My masseuse was Bob, and he had the strongest hands ever for my deep-tissue. I only had to tell him once that I wanted hard pressure, and he did an amazing job taking out all the stress I had on my upper back. His technique was awesome where he was really massaging out my tension and toxins. It was seriously great, and I want to recommend all my Unilocal friends to come here, especially if you are in the WIlliamsburg area. This is way better than than the other tui-na(chinese for massage) places in the area. Technique is KEY to a great massage. Prices for Back Rub & Foot Rub: $ 15 – 15 min massage $ 30 – 30 min massage $ 42 – 45 min massage $ 50 – 60 min massage They also have acupuncture & herbalist & body scrub. Consultation– $ 20 Acupuncture-$ 50 Herbal Formulations-$ 40 50 min body scrub-$ 70(using Biotone Dead Sea Salt) Open 7 days from 10:30am-10:30pm. BTW-I am shocked that Mei Ying Qi Gong Tui-Na wasn’t even listed on Unilocal until now. I was really hesitant to come here because I thought ~ no Unilocal review = bad, sketchy place. But I was so wrong, and I wished I came here earlier rather than waste my time on other massage places(see Jin Mei review). I’m really excited to come back for a full-hour next time. PS-Make sure you ask for a frequent visitor card because on the 10th time you come here, you get a free massage! They really support loyal customers, how neat is that!
