Specialties
Pink Olive specializes in whimsical gifts for happiness and home. We feature local artists and unique treasures for babies to adults. it’s a hidden gem!
History
Established in 2007.
Originating as a web boutique, www.pinkoliveboutique.com, in 2006, Pink Olive’s East Village brick and mortar store soon followed in May 2007. Less than a year later, founder Grace Kang, previous Barney’s buyer, set her sights on expanding to Park Slope in March 2008. While still retaining its roots in baby, gifts, and home goods, the Park Slope Pink Olive will also spotlight the arts, indie designers, crafty finds, and more babywear. Grace chose the Park Slope location for its family-friendly and artistic vibe and loves connecting with the people living in the neighborhood. Check out www.pinkolive.com
The name Pink Olive is inspired by Grace’s fashionable niece, Katie, who loves pink while Grace loves olives. Hence, Pink Olive Boutique!
