This is my go to place and there are many in Bay Ridge so that says a lot for them. First of all it’s clean and they are very nice. I usually get a great manicure here but sometimes(just sometimes) my mani/pedis are rushed and the results not as great but still decent. Also sometimes I have waited more than the time they said it would be but that happens everywhere and there is one manicurist that did not do what I asked. Told her to trim my nails and she chopped them down to stubs — it was probably b/c she doesn’t speak English so be clear. She also rushed through my manicure so those are the reasons why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.

I’ve been here 3 times since I moved to the neighborhood, and I decided that after great experiences each time that this spot needs better reviews. The salon is always clean, has a relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and they do a great job with my nails every time. My first pedicure here, the woman who did my nails gave me a real foot/calf massage no extra charge. My second pedicure, I accidentally messed up the polish and they happily fixed it asap. There are A LOT of nail salons in Bay Ridge, so it’s hard to decide. But Rose is now my go to– and perhaps you should give it a try.

So happy I found a salon in Bay Ridge to do my acrylic and I don’t have to go to Washington Heights anymore! Candy is awesome and I got them done a week and a half ago and they are still strong as they were when she did them. Beautiful job and very well priced. Unlike every other salon in Bay Ridge. Thumbs wayyyy up!

Save your $$ First time I went in I waited about 20 minutes(it’s cool no appt so I get it) Pedicure was just ok and the manicure was way worse. They didn’t even give me time to soak my fingers. They don’t clean up your cuticles well at all. They all seem to be in a hurry to get their next tip. My mistake-I gave it another shot. My initial 10 minute wait turned Into a 30 minute wait. They let 2 women go before me!!! They were walk ins. When i brought it to their attention they apologized and said it’d be 10 more minutes! I WALKEDOUT! Never again. Plenty of other nail salons in bay ridge to try out.

I decided to give this nail salon another try due to being in the area for a doctors appt. I knew I should’ve left from the very beginning when I was told it would be a ten minute wait for my manicure which turned into twenty minutes instead. At first I was pleasantly surprised that my manicure came out pretty decent, well today as in ONEDAY later I have three chipped nails! This has to be a joke, I could’ve saved my ten dollars and painted my own nails, they use Essie brand polish and probably water it down like alot of these cheap nail salons. NEVERAGAIN!

Nice pedicure, okay manicure. They overcharge a bit for shellac & only pretend to massage your hands, but not a bad experience.

Great neighborhood place with a very casual attitude. I go every Sunday for a quick, inexpensive, and reliable manicure that actually lasts a full week. The ladies are always so kind; they always manage their rude and annoying customers with patience. ;-) But most of their clientele have been regulars for a long time and are extremely pleasant.

I have been to pretty much every nail salon in Bay Ridge cheap to expensive, and have never been satisfied with the cleanliness or work. That being said Rose Nail Salon is extremely clean and my mani and pedi lasts forever. It is by far the best salon I’ve ever been to and haven’t switched to another place since I started going 3 years ago. I’ve converted all my girlfriends to this place. As for the lady with the wart, never seen her. Ask for Rosa :)

I usually head here every two weeks or so for a manicure and/or pedicure. The staff doesn’t speak much English, but they’re all very polite and never short on smiles. They always do a very nice job on my nails and the price is excellent($ 8 mani /$ 14 pedi /$ 21 mani/pedi). I frequently go near closing time so I see them scrub down the pedicure tubs at night and give the place a thorough wash. However, I just read the review from Jen H. and couldn’t help but laugh, as tonight, for the first time ever, I also got the lady with the uncovered wart, and it was all I could think about! I know I’ll be heading back here, but I’ll probably take a peek inside first to scope out the staff and make sure I don’t get that specific nail tech.

Went here the other night and got through almost the entire manicure before noticing my manicurist had an uncovered WART on her hand. Warts are CONTAGIOUS, people. She also appeared to have some kind of rash on her arm. I have to imagine she was breaking several health codes by working in those conditions. I am now obsessively checking my hands for warts. I have never been so repulsed at a nail salon in my life. I will never, never go back here.

I went here to get my nails done and the experience was so entertaining and on top of it I loved my manicure. I went with my aunt very close to closing and the other people in there were so animated and talkative. By the time we all left I felt like I had just been on a sitcom episode. I even saw everyone’s pets and could recite the names of everyone’s children. Also, I left with a recommendation on a day spa and just with a happy feeling inside. I thought they did a great job on my nails. I rarely go for manicures so I was pleased to get my nails so nicely shaped and fixed up for only $ 8. I didn’t know it was even possible to get a manicure for $ 8 so that is really happy news.
