Sergiou Harry MD

We chose Dr. Sergiou due to recommendations on a Brooklyn forum, and luckily he happened to be right down the street from us. He was always very nice, answered phone calls within a couple of hours, and always had an appointment available same day when he thought my baby needed to be seen. The only time he wasn’t available was when he was sick himself, but he had another doctor on call for him. What I liked about him was that he didn’t freak out about little things, and didn’t belittle me for calling him about stupid concerns (and I was calling A LOT once my son started daycare and was sick practically all winter).
His office is old school, which he shares with an Internal Medicine Specialist, and they are always super busy. But I never waited more than 10 minutes, and most of the time I was sent into an exam room immediately so that my baby didn’t sit in the waiting room with potentially sick adults /​toddlers. The only real downside is that they only take cash, and in the morning they didn’t always have change. So half the time I ended up going across the street to a deli to break a $ 20 to get a $ 5 bill for my $ 25 co-​pay.

I have used Dr Sergiou for myself and my kids. Having been in healthcare for over 30 years I highly recommend him to all parents. His practical and experienced way of dealing with life’s challenges (medical as well as emotional) is great.

Dr. Sergiou delivered me. Or at least helped my mom’s gyno do it. He was my doctor until I became too old to go to him anymore. He knew me, my family, my sister. It never felt like I was going to the doctor.
I would recommend Dr. Sergiou to any new parent who is apprehensive about care for their child. Dr. Sergiou is a complete professional and has kids of his own to boot.
