Stan’s was great for a while, but it seems that he had moved his operation into a food truck that sometimes parks near McCarren park. He’s also started selling his burritos to cafes, so if you’re in the area and are looking for his food, just head a block south to the daily press to find a limited selection of Stan’s burritos.

The breakfast burritos do not disappoint! Fresh fluffy eggs with crisp green peppers and onions mingle with the super flavorful monterey jack cheese and Guatemalan green sauce. It’s a perfect flavor and texture combo worthy of the five star rating. Yum!

My latest obsession is the breakfast burrito here(I get it vegetarian style — with just eggs and peppers inside, I think they are jalapeños because they add a nice spice). Then I smother every bite with the homemade green sauce which is addicting. The coffee here is good too. Minus one star because it literally is a hole in the wall(with a C rating at that) so I have questionable feelings about what the cleanliness situation is here, but damn those burritos are a little too good for me to stop… And friendly service too!

This place… this place… THISPLACE! We both got breakfast burritos, bacon and chorizo. They were so good we cried after our last bite. We’ll be back. Frequently.

I was looking a a bite before work and looked up cafes near me… stumbled acrossed this lil place, since Im mexican bfast burrito caught my eye right away! Little did I know it was going to be one of the nicest, yummiest burritos I have ever had. Ordered the steak but unfourtunetly they were out(pretty sure they sell fast) so I went with my second best choice. Chorizo!!! Gosh was it delicious!!! And they had a large variety of hot sauces on the side, and nice hot coffee! What else can I ask for! The owner(which by the way was super nice) told me to try some other places he owns… looking forward to try them!!! Very delicious food paired with super nice service! Will deff come back! Props to the chef! And their delicious ginger poblano butter! Yummmmmm

Found egg shells in our food and flies in the dinning area. Why are the cases of eggs just sitting on the floor in the dining area when it clearly says«Keep Refrigerated» in big letters on the box. Also, when leaving we saw that this place had a C sanitation rating. It’s easy to miss because of their big awning in front.

Little hole in the wall place near the bridge. Burritos a bit pricey. 2 with coffees over 20 $ but worth it. Very tasty and filling with eggs and Jack cheese. Very pleasant staff. Good coffee too.

This place kills it with regards to breakfast burritos. The staff is laid back and friendly, we love sitting outside on stools. The food is low key and simply delicious. Try the chorizo breakfast burrito.

Found these guys within walking distance using Unilocal.First breakfast experience in Brooklyn and it was good. They have a small variety of burritos and tacos and hot or iced coffee — simple and great on the run. They seem to have lunch and evening items as well, which I would be interested in trying. If you’re looking for something quick, tasty, and filling, and are willing to spend more for the basics, this is a good choice. If you prefer your money to take you further or you want a place to sit for a long breakfast, I wouldn’t suggest it.

I stumbled upon this little gem about a year ago and have been going at least once a week ever since. The steak breakfast burrito is insanely good. Make sure to try the unlabeled green hot sauce. I don’t know where Stan gets that stuff, but its the most addicting hot sauce that I’ve ever had. I literally dump it on every bite. The coffee is great too. Lastly, I gotta give it up to Stan and his staff for creating the best atmosphere in Williamsburg for starting your day. They all know your name, are genuinely happy to see you when you come in, play awesome music and take pride in the food that they’re serving. Bottom line: Try it once and you’ll keep coming back.

Burritos were tasty– but overpriced for the size. At one point I felt I could make the same burrito– wasn’t anything spectacular that stood out. Don’t get me wrong– it was okay– but absolutely not worth going out of your way for. There are other breakfast burritos that dwarf this in value and taste. Cute shop– but can’t say ill be back– and I live down the street.

Aaaaaand now they have a bunch of dollar records bin courtesy of Stan’s partner at Norman’s Sound and Vision. So you can order a burrito and pick out some Lou Rawls LPs while you wait. Still 5 stars because that is all you get but add another for dollar records.

The breakfast burritos are legendary for a reason. This place doesn’t make a lot of promises, but it definitely delivers.

Sorry to rain on everyone’s parade but what an utter disappointment. First off, the basic burrito is listed at $ 6 now and I guess they add tax because I paid $ 6.50. And if your not a jerk, you’re going to at least leave the $ 0.50 for tip. So, it’s $ 7 for the basic burrito. This is in no way a deal because A) it’s barely bigger than a breakfast taco B) there’s really not much else in it but eggs. I thought there would be beans and rice at least. Maybe pico de gallo? Nope. Just a few unrecognizable veggies, a few tortilla chips and something else which I couldn’t tell if it was mayonnaise or cheese. The green salsa was nowhere to be found. Only a smattering of bottled hot sauces. It didn’t seem like they even heated up the flour tortilla it’s wrapped in. It’s straight from a package. Don’t fall for the trumped up reviews online or in NYC publications. Probably more of a 2 star place but these sheep leaving 5 star reviews need to be checked.

Don’t understand why this place gets great reviews. We got charged 18 $ for some soggy grits and 2 thin tortillas with eggs and cheese inside and even though we had ordered bacon with it. They don’t have chicken on weekends apparently, either… Rip off central.

Everything about this place is awesome. I have eaten here dozens of times in the last few months and never had a dud. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is amazing. Apart from the excellent breakfast burritos, swing by later and check out the lunch styles or a quesadilla. Also ask what else they have, they swap out specials or outside food pretty often. And yeah, the green sauce is off the charts. I bought a bottle and now I put it on everything.

Ever since leaving Texas two years ago, I have been on the search for an authentic Texas breakfast. Stan’s is it. The breakfast burrito is flawless and at $ 5, it’s a steal. They make their eggs migas style(onions, peppers, and tortilla strips) and their hot sauce is homemade. By far the best breakfast burrito I have had in New York.

Requisite cliched slogan: «Stan is the man!» Seriously though, the most perfect breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Strong, good French Press Coffee. Homemade green hot sauce. A large selection of chili sauces for you hot-heads out there. Great, warm, personal service. Get the breakfast burrito with chorizo, or the Pork Jambalaya burrito. Pure bliss.
