The perfect little neighborhood kids shop. While I browsed, my daughter had a great time checking out the sock rack and playing at the kids table they have set up. She didn’t want to leave!

I just stopped into Stork for the first time, looking for a baby shower gift. The store is adorable, with a thoughtful selection of unique and high quality clothing, books, and other items for babies & children. They really had so many cute things that I had difficulty deciding what I wanted to buy! I finally settled on one of the «Brooklyn Heart» onesies (that the store makes themselves) and a nice letterpress card.
The owner was very welcoming and friendly, and really made me feel at home in her store. I saw a few items in the store that my nephew can not live without (he’s so lucky that he has me to shop for him), so I am already looking forward to making a return trip!

Just HOOKED! Every single Christmas gift, birthday gift and baby shower gift has come from this place. I love it here. Great store for Franklin Avenue! The owner is super friendly and cares about the community. Awesome place for kids gifts.

My friend’s 2 year old daughter has a birthday coming up and I’m sick of taking the easy route by buying a gift card from the Children’s Place. Let’s face it people, that’s pretty lame! I decided to stop in and check out Stork which is a newbie on Franklin Ave. The store clerk was really helpful in helping me identify age appropriate toys but I wanted to look around at other options. After calling my sister, she confirmed that the gift was super cool and age appropriate. Depending on what you’re looking for, some of the items are a tad bit on the expensive side but you can’t beat that they are unique. Umm hello… Do you want that 2 year old to think you’re the coolest person for life? Of course she will remember this gift and remember your awesomeness forevah!
The next day I went to purchase the gift and the owner was working. Love her! She was so warm and welcoming and we chatted for a good amount of time. It’s a relatively small store with a solid supply of books, toys, children’s clothes, baby products etc with many of the merchandise from BK based companies. As a small business owner, with a new shop we talked about relevant things like the changing landscape of the neighborhood, whether or not Beyonce really carried her child, and our views on the Chris Brown and Rihanna scandal. As we engaged in serious discourse about this, she also offered to gift wrap my present. Say word? Christmas in September?
I’m so glad that I decided to come back to the store and make my purchase. Maybe I can coerce some of my friends to get preggers so I can shop for more cute stuff here.

I was looking for a couple of gifts for a friend of mine’s daughter and I happened to walk by this place earlier in the day so I figured i’d stop in. it must have been the grand opening, bc there were so many people and kids in the store. The atmosphere is great, and i found cool art supplies and a great t-​shirt for my friend. Stork is a great addition to the neighborhood, one time for local business!

This is the newest boutique on Franklin Avenue and it’s been a long time coming! Everything is artfully displayed, with a small selection of unique pieces of clothing, environmentally-​friendly and developmentally-​appropriate toys, books for all ages, backpacks, and an outfit’s finishing touches. The prices are not Target cheap, as it is a boutique, and not to mention a local business! Wahoo!
This store makes me want to have a kid. It is just that good.
