I booked TB through Amazon and was extremely pleased. They were not the cheapest quote I received but they were the most responsive and professional. It is always smart to check that a mover is licensed and it was very easy to verify this with TB. The crew (Alex) arrived in the expected delivery window and called when about 20 min away. They got to work quickly, carefully and efficiently. They packed everything with care and attention from my expensive bed furniture to my cheapest Ikea lamp. They moved everything to my storage unit where they unloaded just as carefully. The unit was packed efficiently to maximize space and to store things safely.
I am a very happy customer and will recommend them to anyone. I will be using them again for sure when I move back next year.

First I came across TB Moving via Amazon services. I was looking for a reliable moving company for a fair price as I was moving 200+ miles away from NYC. Amazon states that all the license and background requirements are checked and in good standing…
Next I bumped into TB Moving’s 5 star rating on Unilocal.
I submitted my list of items for an estimate. Their operator Emily gave me call back next day to clarify the list and provide with estimates. She was very professional, ready to help, explain and negotiate. She also took care to notify my previous and future landlords and get all necessary regulation steps for a smooth moving.
She reached me out 2 days before to confirm and ask if I needed to change anything or had any other concerns or requests. It was really calming down follow up as moving is a lot of stress for me.
So, the arranged day came with 2 totally awesome guys Nikita and Avetis. They were exceptionally efficient and professional. They were stunningly careful with all the furniture (I have a lot of glass parts). They helped us with all the dishes and cups. They gave us many little moving tips, which I had no idea about, but which make your moving smooth and your staff safe.
They were working extraordinary honestly. No cutting corners. Extra care to each box/​piece of furniture they dealt with. I would not care more for my stuff then they did.
At the new place they asked us where we wanted our furniture. They helped to assemble and place everything to its new spots. So, hassle free moving in a day!
All in all, it was an exceptional experience starting from call from Emily and to saying Nikita and Avetis thank you for an outstanding job you guys have done.
It was an absolute pleasure dealing with all the TB moving team. Next time I am moving I know who is going to take care of all my stuff and I am sure it will be done exceptionally well!

Living here for the past 12 years, I have moved more times that I can count. 3 different boroughs, Long Island, and even NJ, I have used many professional movers in the past. It has always been a necessary evil and something that you don’t look forward to, but you go through the process. For my most recent move I was going to go with a company I used before. I was not pleased with them but they were not expensive and didn’t break my stuff, so I was willing to put up with their complaining, lateness, and 2 hour lunch breaks. A real estate agent gave me the info for TB Moving and I thought it would not hurt to contact them. Not only were they comparably inexpensive with a flat fee, but I have honestly never had more professional, pleasant, and hard working movers. Dimitri and his team arrived on time, worked tirelessly and effectively, all without complaint. They were friendly and even were able to maneuver bringing in my custom couch which the super swore would not be able to make it into the building. These guys are honestly top notch! I cannot say enough great things about them and my overall experience with TB Moving. I highly recommend them and I will definitely utilize their services again for my next move. Used these guys twice. Excellent movers, very nice and competent. Only gripe is their English is not that great. So if you have complex instructions, best to relay these before the job. Also recommend you look at the location they move from as they left some items behind but nothing big. Little stuff. But hands down best movers I’ve used.

I had a great overall experience. Movers were extremely careful and not a single mark on my newly painted wall. Andrii, (one of the movers) was very professional and such a pleasure to deal with. I just pointed out what I wanted to move and he and his guy just followed through. I don’t know if TB stands for «the best,» but it ought to. These fellas treat your crappy Ikea furniture like faberge eggs. And Diane who books the moving appointments over the phone is so sweet. They’re quick, affordable, personable as heck, and super attentive. They even show up with tons of extra boxes, and tape. Anything you forget to pack they pack safely in the blink of an eye. I’ve used them twice and referred to a friend. Each time was a pleasure (as much as moving can be). Moving sucks, but they make things as easy as possible. If you’re on Unilocal right now trying to find a mover– this is the one you want.

Moving it is said to be one of the three biggest stressors in your life and I can tell you that I agree! I called TB Moving along with three other movers. Alex spoke with me and spent a ton of time going through ever step and every piece of furniture I had in a house that is very large with lots of different and expensive furniture. Many rooms were custom pieces of furniture built to fit so I had a major concern that who I hired needed to be the best PERIOD! I can tell you that TB Moving is the best. After I spoke with Alex I didnt speak again to TB Moving for 6 months. I called back in spoke to Diane and she picked up the ball and ran with it. I was concerned with all the time that passed that my info would be gone and my initial hour and a half consult would be a waist… well it wasn’t. They showed up on the day they said they would, early. The six men that showed were professionals; clean cut, courteous and expeditious. They were to say the least a well oiled MACHINE. They put my concerns to rest and after the initial walk through the morning of my move needed little direction. I know this sounds all too good to be true but sometimes with the right company moving doesn’t have to be on the top three list of stressors. With these guys my move was painless. Lastly, they arrived at my new house unloaded with a new group of movers and once again they were pro’s. They left my house clean, put the furniture where I asked them and to my shock at the very end the manager was completely honest with me and showed me where an item was broken which I would have never noticed until weeks later. Alex, honesty these days is not held in high regard because people rationalize. You did not and for that I thank you. It is a testament to you and your company the level of work ethic and character traits you displace, in the most personal of places, a customer’s home.
I would recommend TB Moving to anyone who has a simple or even very large move like I had with very expensive furniture. They will treat your home like theirs.

Be prepared to tip well, they are worth every penny. We found them via Unpakt, and while they weren’t the least expensive, they were the highest rated. Alex confirmed a time with me and Andrew and two other men showed up early to our previous home in CT. Andrew took the time to introduce himself and get a full tour of the apartment before getting started. I couldn’t believe how both quick and efficient they were. A glass-​topped desk and shelving unit that I thought would have to be taken apart were not.
The unloading was a piece of cake. Again, Andrew asked for a full look at the apartment before they brought everything up. They even bagged our new king-​sized mattress and got it on the bed, plus they unpacked the flat-​screen.

These guys were great from the beginning. I requested a quote online and got a call within a half hour. They charged me by the amount of stuff and not by time like every other company did. This «flat rate» system was helpful because it meant I didn’t have to worry about how long it took them to pack/​unpack or if they got stuck in traffic (which they did).
There price was by FAR the best of the other 3 prices I got (literally almost half the price, which they assured me wouldn’t change because unlike the other prices I got that were a $/​hour situation they were just concerned about how much they were moving.
The movers themselves (3 guys) arrived within the first hour of the two hour window, were kind, polite, quick, careful and strong! They didn’t complain once and made my move look so easy.
I can’t recommend this company more, they are by far the best value you’ll get if they service your area!

I had a great experience with TB Moving. A friend had just moved from Whitestone, Qns to Linden, NJ and raved about them, so I decided to check them out and I’m so glad I did because I could not have been happier with how everything went. Sarah and Alex in the office quickly answered all of my questions and sent the certificates of insurance I needed for both buildings with no hassle and no extra charge. The guys who moved me were on time, extremely fast, efficient, polite… and so nice. They worked their tails off. They wrapped all the furniture, re-​assembled my bed and even offered to help me arrange my living room at the new place — at no extra charge. There were no nasty surprises and no extra or hidden fees — all very straight forward and a fantastic value. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Choosing TB Moving was the best thing I’ve done for moving the contents of our loft to an apartment a bit deeper in Brooklyn.
They communicated well prior to the move date, and set a transparent, and very reasonable, price. Recently i had to move very last minute. My wife found TB through an online search. We got a fair estimate from them at a good price. The lady Sarah who assisted us was excellent over the phone. Our team of three movers arrived to help us move our 1 bed apartment. Honestly, we were a mess, but this team handled everything with precision, care, and professionalism. Everything was packed carefully and properly and transferred and unpacked. Whatever was disassembled was reassembled as it was. All this was done for one flat rate and not hourly. Very good professional company. These people know their business! Also, before contacting TB Moving, which is located in New York we had an estimate from another local company with the best reputation in Jersey City. It turned out that TB charged us $ 750 less than this local company! We would highly recommend it to everybody.

Moving in NYC is scary… Starting with moving costs. These guys were the best! My son had to move by the end of the month 3 days before the end. TB gave a flat rate. It sounded like the highest quote but he took it. They called when they said, they came when they said. They carefully wrapped everything and moved very efficiently. There was a 2 hr gap between gaining access to the new place and they waited patiently for his assigned time.
Bottom line if you want reliable, efficient, no hidden charges movers, these are your guys! BTW, I think the hourly way would have doubled the cost. Great value.

Fantastic from beginning to end! Diane was super helpful setting everything up/​confirming day before move and providing an accurate, competitive moving quote from Bk to Manhattan with a storage stop along the way. She was also very attentive with last minute questions and updates. The movers (three) were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond my expectations to make sure that my items were properly packed and secure, and ensured that everything was set up as I wanted. When a couple of unexpected issues came up (my new apt is on fourth, not third, floor walk up /​couch removal from existing apartment was harder than expected), they quickly adjusted with no problem. Will definitely use them again if needed. Highly recommend!

TB moving made our move painless! As we made our reservation last minute, on one of the busiest days of the year, it was no problem to be squeezed in. The guys showed up on time and were very nice! Nothing was a problem. All the furniture was properly wrapped and carefully placed into the truck. Because of traffic we would almost miss our slot for the service elevator, the guys even offered to carry everything up the stairs! Luckily it was not necessary and we got moved within 3 hours. So glad we went with TB Moving, would highly recommend it. Oh, and the price doesn’t suck either!

Before TB moving, I’d get several friends together, rented a u-​haul, and hoped everyone worked out. Not anymore — not worth the hassle.
For a very reasonable cost TB moving showed up in front of my old apartment with a huge truck, a small army of men, stacks of moving dollies, and safely moved everything a few miles away to my new place.
These guys were fast and very polite. They wrapped up all of my furniture and stayed true to their original cost estimate.

This was the one and only place that returned phone calls, responded to emails and were professional. I was quoted five hours to be on the safe side but the movers were done in 3 hours and 45 minutes. They wrapped everything up within 30 minutes and were not phased by the parking half a block up the street. The foreman reviewed everything with me before the move and forewarnes about the ikea furniture which was a miracle it had survived 3 moves in the last 9 years. But honestly, hands down the BEST moving company. I recommended them to another friend & she said the same thing. Thank you for making a stressful situation and making it a little less stressful.

We had these guys help us move from NYC to CT. Extremely professional and quick! We had most of our staff packed in boxed but they wrapped all the furniture, TVs, pictures and packed the hanging clothes.
3.5 hours of each loading and unloading they never took a break.

my story:
I hired tb moving to move me from queens ny to lake mary fl. this was my first long distance move and my third overall move within 2 years. the previous companies I have worked with didn’t have the man power or the capacity to move long distance so I was forced to look elsewhere. after doing extensive research I came upon TB Movers on Unilocal,although I’m usually weary of a buisness that is all 5 star ratings, I gave them a call among many other companies to set up an in home estimate. Alex came in to do an inventory count for my furniture pieces and give me an estimate. although their estimate was initially the highest Among all the other quotes, Diane worked closely with me to adjust their quote and bring it closer to that of other moving companies. fast forward to the day of the move and four men show up zura (the foreman) laasha (sp?) sergey and dima. all the men showed up exactly at 9am, dressed in TB uniforms and ready to work. upon entry, zura took a look at the inventory list and double checked that everything was on there. after getting the paper work out of the way, the guys didn’t waste any time and began quickly disassembling and wrapping the large furniture pieces. the day before the move I had called Diane with some last minute changes and she was readily able to accommodate my needs without any price fluctuations (I had to add 2 wardrobe boxes and she gave me 3 for free… thank you Diane!) zura finished packing the three wardrobes that Diane had sent and the entire day was smooth sailing. the men took extra precaution with my expensive imported Italian (might I add heavy!) furniture and didn’t complain when the oversized headboard didn’t fit the elevator and had to be carried down five flights of stairs. every piece was wrapped in blankets and my large vanity dresser mirror was crated to ensure it’s secure arrival. I had dreaded this move more than anything else because the last thing any one would want is for something that they spent lots of money on to get damaged. surprisingly nearly every piece with the exception of one end table made it down to florida safely. considering the fact that my items had to be picked up from my house and loaded on to the truck, then delivered and unloaded into a storage facility (which by the way was also free for up to 30 days), and then loaded back on to a truck for delivery in Florida, one broken piece is not so bad and although it could have been avoided all together, TB moving graciously offered to compensate for up to 50 percent of the cost of my end table. I had called Diane with my address on the 5^th of June and my items arrived on the 15^th of June, 5 business days after giving them my location, which was nearly 10 days sooner than their 14 business day policy for delivery! zura had called me a day before to tell me his ETA. zura and dima personally delivered all of my items down to Florida and the two men worked tirelessly in 97 degree heat to get all my things up to a second floor walk up. I especially would like to thank dima for his outstanding work ethic and efforts – he worked non stop and had to be convinced by myself, my husband and zura to take a five minute break for a drink and a snack. the two men unwrapped, reassembled and placed all the furniture exactly where we wanted it and never mentioned the heat once! I would like to say that no move will ever be 100% glitch free; however, TB moving comes about as close to that 100% as possible when it comes to serving and satisfying their customer’s needs. I will most definitely be recommending them to my friends and family and look forward to working with them once again myself in the near future. thank you once again TB moving.

Moved from Astoria, Queens to the East Village and they made my move so easy and 100% stress free. They were a little late (due to road closures and weather, beyond their control) but made up for it with a discount for the inconvenience and excellent service and conversation that made a normally stressful situation actually kind of fun. Charged exactly what the quote said, no hidden fees. They made the process so easy. All my belongings arrived in perfect condition and they went above and beyond to protect them. I hired TB Movers in April 2015 to move from Jersey City to Bonita Springs, Fl. It was the best experience we have had with a moving company. I have moved twice before this move during the last 8 yrs and had hired large well known moving companies. They could not compare to the experience I had with TB Movers.
I worked with Diane in the office who was extremely helpful and very pleasant. The three team members that came to our home to pack up the truck were terrific! They were very efficient and extremely thorough in protecting our furniture. As agreed, the furniture was delivered within the 10 days. The two fellows that delivered our furniture were also great… they worked very quickly and were extremely pleasant to work with. All in all we had an excellent experience with this company and I would highly recommend them to family and friends!

There isn’t one thing I could say bad about these guys, the service was simply phenomenal. from the email confirmations to the prompt timing, efficiency, great communication everything was A+.

These guys did SUCH a good job. I’ve never hired movers before, so I was a little out of my element when I was looking for someone to help us — I think I’ve pretty much used all the «friend helping me move» cards in the past 7 years, having moved (on an average) of once every two years.
I spoke with Diane, the moving consultant, during my search, and she was incredibly helpful — especially with me knowing so little about what we actually needed. When I gave her a run down of the stuff we wanted them to move, her quoted price was one of the lowest I was offered. Since she was the nicest — I chose them.
They confirmed before, and the day of moving. The guys showed up on time and got right to work — they disassembled all our furniture, wrapped it all, moved it out… shipped it, and moved it back in. They even threw away an old bed we were getting rid of so I didn’t have to lug it downstairs, and moved a few other things that weren’t on my inventory, but would have been annoying to move. They were fast, didn’t break anything, and unloaded/​reassembled. I want to say the whole thing took less than three hours.
I will definitely recommend to anyone looking to move!

I was helping my mom to get to California and this was a
big thing for her. We were given the price of 3750.00 over the phone
