Three Kings Tattoo now has a new location in Manhattan!

Three Kings Tattoo is home to 20 world renowned tattoo artists. We specialize in all areas of tattooing including traditional, black and grey, japanese, polynesian, portaits, new school, tribal, and more. Not only do we have our resident artists but we are also home to a number of guest artists each month who come from all over the world whose schedules and work you can find on any of our social media sites. We are known for our custom tattoo work but we also accept walk-​ins everyday. There are always two artists available everyday on a first come, first serve basis.

We here at Three Kings Tattoo understand that getting a tattoo is a very important and intimate experience so we take our jobs very seriously. We are always available just to talk and answer any questions you may have. We pride ourselves on making you comfortable so that you can have the best tattoo experience possible. We appreciate every person who walks through our doors and look forward to hearing about all of your tattoo ideas.

The more private Three Kings Studio The studio is located at 754 Manhattan Ave, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, right up the street from our main shop. The Three Kings Studio is going to be a quieter and more private shop for our artists who are appointment only. The studio will be equipped to give you a more relaxing and unique tattooing experience. As always, the quality of the tattoos coming out of the studio will be comparable to any top tattoo shop in the world.

Three Kings Manhattan is the second location of the famous Three Kings Tattoo. Located right in the heart of the East Village, at 181 Avenue B, here you can find some familiar faces as well as some new additions to the team! As always, the experience at Three Kings Manhattan is the same friendly atmosphere and profesionalism you have come to expect. Between the eight of them, the artists at the Manhattan shop can handle any tattooing style you desire.

I got my first tattoo here on Tuesday and love it. I did a walk in, it was super easy. I only waited about 20 minutes, met my artist Nik and he did a few mock ups of my idea. Once I picked one, i went back and got the tattoo in less than ten minutes (it was a small one). Nik was really great, and I’d recommend him to anyone doing word tattoos :)

Hice mi primer tatuaje el viernes y me recomendaron este lugar, y me encanto. Estaba un poco asustada y preocupda porque no sabia si me iva a gustar oh si me Iva a doler. Pero Moreno who was the artist was amazing, me explico todo, hablo conmigo Durante el proceso y Se preocupo para que me sintiera bien y Lo Mas confiada posible. At the end I love my tatto, was very fast, y dolio solo un poquito. Moreno thanks so much you rock with my tatto. I extremely recommended these place.

I visited Three Kings Tattoo yesterday for my appointment for a cosmetic eyebrow tattoo with Bethany Wolosky and had an incredible experience! Bethany is a truly talented artist. She took great care tailoring and refining my brows to perfection with her microblading technique. The shop was clean and beautiful, and the ladies at the front desk were professional and courteous. If you are considering cosmetic tattooing I highly recommend looking into Bethany’s work and the work of the other artists at Three Kings.

Amanda had a last-​minute cancellation, so I was lucky enough to get an appointment with her really quickly. She was super professional, friendly, and attentive to my comfort throughout the 3+ hour process. I went with one of her (gorgeous) floral designs and I am in love with it. the shop itself is very clean and has a great vibe, and all of the artists were friendly and fun to spend several hours with. I will definitely be back for more pieces in the future!

I got my first tattoo there yesterday and I absolutely love the place. It’s located in central greenpoint so many places for fun and good. The staff inside were so patient and kind with me helping me with any questions I had. The tattoo process went very smoothly and they took good care of me. I would definitely go back there again. I was referred to your shop by a friend and let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed. The fabulous young lady at the counter was so lovely, sweet, and accommodating which is not always the case at other tattoo shops. Amanda was my and my friend’s artist and she was rad as fuck. She gave us exactly what we were looking for and gently gave us her opinions keeping the integrity of the tattoo in mind.
The rest of the staff was fun to be around and the energy in the place was very positive. They have cultivated a great environment and brought a great staff together. We had a great experience and I will definitely be back.

My Hubs and I were looking for a shop to get something while visiting BK. After getting recommendations from friends, we had a list of 3 shops. Three Kings was the only one taking walk-​ins. Diana, the receptionist, was super friendly, and very helpful. Gustavo and Matt Moreno did our tattoos. They were friendly and fast! Our additions look great, and going there was an easy stress free process.

I have been to Three Kings several times over the past 5 years, with different artists. Each time, they continue to improve upon what was already a fantastic shop. Everyone– from artists to front-​of-​house staff to managers to assistants– is very friendly & professional. I have never felt anything but great when I’ve walked out their door!
My most recent experience was with Bethany Wolosky, who specializes in cosmetic tattooing. I can’t recommend her or this service enough! She is massively talented, and made me feel comfortable & calm at all times. I am *thrilled* with my eyebrows, and I will absolutely be spreading the word.

I followed Amanda to Three Kings Tattoo, as she has done 10 of my existing tattoos. I was excited to see what the experience would be like at her new location, Three Kings.
I was incredibly impressed with the shop, which has an open environment, decorated with traditional style prints & some taxidermy. The stations were very clean and the staff were professional. I was offered a privacy screen, which I declined, but if you’re a bit more modest, don’t let the open layout intimidate you, as it seems they will accommodate you as best they can.
As always, I’m very pleased with Amanda’s work. She did two small tattoos, one of a seahorse with text and a small makeup brush flanked with traditional-​style flowers. I constantly get compliments on the work she has done for me, and these are no exception.
I highly recommend the shop and plan to come back.

Rip offs. Lets start off with the fact that the shop minimum is $ 100…fine, okay, understandable.
All i wanted were three simple straight lines forming a safe camp symbol.
Besides the fact that 2⁄3 dudes in there were SUPER rude, the guy tattooing me treated me like I was dumb and did not know anything about the art. I am an artist myself, and know the proper preparation and care for a tattoo.
The guy blew out my lines, he put a lot of pressure on the area that was being tattood (my arm) and still charged me the $ 100. Overall, i think this place is unoriginal, stuck up egoistic people that really do not do as great of a job as other shops in the city (especially for the prices they charge). would highly not recommend them if you want something permanently on your body!!!

After reading some of the other reviews, frankly, I feel ripped off… I specifically asked for numbing cream prior to starting my tattoo and was told it wasn’t available. Because of that, I didn’t end up even finishing my tattoo because it was huge (I was convinced to go larger than I wanted) and the pain got too bad for me. I emailed the shop owner and he told me «We believe that the pain you endure from a tattoo is a right of passage. The pain during the process is what makes a tattoo so beautiful.» I don’t know about you but a non-​painful tattoo is EXACTLY the same amount of beautiful. I am not a masochist and will never enjoy pain so this reasoning really just makes me feel like he is calling me a wimp.
I was visiting Brooklyn (from Ohio) and maybe I just expected more hospitality but the vibe in the shop was especially cold/​harsh. I felt like the tattoo artist was annoyed with me for being in so much pain. When I did voice that I was in pain while getting tattooed and all the artists in the shop told me to go get drunk and come back… The owner TRIED to tell me they were kidding but they seemed VERY serious. One girl even went so far to say she has NEVER received a tattoo sober… Based on her tone she was not joking in the slightest. So the fact that Matthew, the shop owner, tells me to face the pain is very frustrating.
I didn’t finished my tattoo, paid WAY to much ($ 300), was pressured to schedule an appoint to finish it (which I obviously didn’t) and left.
After that they called and emailed my repetitively to tell me I still owed $ 15 for tax. Frankly, I was taken aback after my unprofessional and uncomfortable tattooing experience. I’m not a thief so I paid the additional fee, but beware when going to the shop if you aren’t into the «right of passage» which is pain.
I do like my tattoo but I don’t appreciate having to pay more than originally anticipated to get it finished, nor the uncomfortable situation I dealt with in the shop.
UPDATE: I was refunded my $ 15 that I paid for tax and am grateful. Doesn’t change the one star I gave tho.

The reviews about Bethany’s work are true — she is patient, kind, and does incredible work. I had a lot of nerves coming in to the shop, but she quickly calmed them. I’ll be completely honest in saying that the pain definitely accumulated and got pretty bad for me at one point, but Bethany adjusted and added more numbing cream to make the second pass MUCH better. She has amazing bedside manner. :)
I’ve received tons of compliments on my brows already. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited Three Kings Tattoo for my first piece and had a fantastic experience. Since my tattoo was relatively simple and straight forward, I was able to just walk in and they were able to get me in very quickly. I went on a Saturday and would recommend to anyone looking for a walk in appointment to show up as close to noon as possible, otherwise they will get super busy, and who likes to wait for hours and hours? Not me.
My artist was Mat and he did a great job. Took his time in talking me through the process, discussing the script that I wanted, made a lot of jokes which helped calm my «first timer nerves». I’d definitely go back to Mat again and would recommend him to anyone!
The studio itself is awesome, clean, and has great examples of their artists’ work hanging all over the place. All of the artists and receptionist were friendly and welcoming to me and put up with my two friends who wanted to sit in on the appointment. Overall I couldn’t have picked a better place for my first tattoo! Thanks Three Kings!

I was visiting Manhattan over spring break. I booked a session with Kal Morrison for a foot tatto. The girl at the front desk was welcoming and accomodating. She helped us quickly and even talked with my 12 year old daughter during my session. Kal worked quickly and did a wonderful job. The place was nice and clean. If I’m ever back in brooklyn I will be going back to Three Kings.

Three Kings is my first tattoo experience — the shop in Brooklyn was recommended to me from a friend, and I was not disappointed. I tried to schedule a consultation, but I was told my piece was very simple that anyone could do it. I was advised to just come by the shop when they opened and I was seen right away. I had two pieces done by Tron (who was wonderful). The entire staff was very kind and I am happy to have found a such a great place for my first tattoo.

My first time at Three Kings, but my second time with Amy Shapiro. She is incredibly talented, patient and kind. We had a consultation and she ran with the idea, the memorial piece turned out beautiful and so much more than I expected. What a beautiful person she is! She brought out the personality of my pet on this tattoo. Already thinking of 2 other projects I want to do with her.
The shop is super friendly and off beat. It was a Saturday and super busy. All the artists were with people back to back and each piece was amazing. My favorite tattoo shop from all the other ones around the US and Canada that I have been to.

I got my eyebrows tattooed by Bethany a few days ago, and I swear it has already changed my life. I was over penciling in my brows every day but was a little apprehensive to tattoo my face despite being heavily tattooed. Let me start off by saying, every step of the way, Bethany made me feel at ease and was totally reassuring. The process is so different from a traditional tattoo that it’s hard to even compare the two. If you are at all hesitant because of the pain, don’t be.
Bethany is so talented and mixed the perfect color for me and she worked with me designing a shape for my brows that is seriously beyond perfect. I would suggest to let your brows grow and come to her totally ungroomed. Trust her opinion and go with it. My brows look so much more natural now than when I had to pencil them in.
My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner. It is honestly the best thing I have ever spent money on. Bethany is a doll-​face angel who will take your brow game to the next level.

Great location that takes walk-​ins for do-​able pieces.
Got two pieces done and both artists were very calm and re-​assuring.
My first piece was a walk-​in and it came out very well and i was honestly scared and nervous, they charged me (in my opinion) the best price for a decently sized walk-​in piece. They give cleaning and treating tips afterwards as well as ointment until youre fully recovered which I would say about a month after their tattooing job.
I think my walk-​in guy’s name was Matthew and he was a traveling artist, so you might not catch him but he is such a nice bro.
My second piece I decided to come here again (I didnt even bother looking for another place).
When I was getting my second piece, I was certain that they would do a great job so I didnt have to get a quick peek everytime. However this much smaller piece, which I had consultation for and is just numerical numbers linked by an infinity sign at the end was charged more than half what I paid for, for my first piece. I was really hesitant but I chose to go thru with it since I just like this place in general.
Prices; my first piece was about 280 $ for a size about my full shoulder blade back. (Worth)
My second piece was really small roman numeral with infinity sign was about 120 $ (–1 star, feel like you guys were a bit desperate to squeeze money, but its fine)
Have an ID ready if youre a first timer.
The pain is durable!
Definitely recommend if you are looking for quality and not to stingy with pricing!
I also believe their prices aren’t too negotiable!

Price is reasonable.
So this isn’t my first tattoo but the first for this shop. The ambience was really nice. Very Brooklyn-​like. My artist was Kal. I must say he’s one of the nicest artists I’ve gotten.
What I do recommend is that they should have an atm machine in their shop. But all in all. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
