Five of us went to Frankie Primo’s +39 last night for a birthday celebration. We came on a Monday night and the place was empty so the service was prompt. They have a nice selection of wine and specialty cocktails. Most of the table started off with Minestrone soup or Cesar salad that was brought out very quickly and got good reviews. I ordered the Pappardelle, with Pork and Hazelnuts and it was to die for. I am not normally much of a pork orderer, but I’m sure glad I did. My boyfriend and another friend got the Bucatini which they said was good. The other orders were Margarita Pizza and the Gnocchi which is hard to go wrong with and this place didn’t disappoint. The birthday boy had some gelato, and we all had some complimentary lemoncello that the owner himself made and that about wrapped it up. All in all glad we checked it out and will be coming back in the future.

Love dining downtown! Lots of choices. Highly recommend F. P.‘s. Our party of four enjoyed the freshly made pastas, tagliatelle, papperadelle, etc. Friendly staff made for a very enjoyable evening.

Absolutely terrible service Waitress wouldn’t even take our order ’ I had to go up and ask her to come to the table. She gave us a slight attitude. I Could see from the staff they really didn’t like the correct I had to make by being blunt about the waitress timing. I will never go or recommend this restaurant.

Frankie Primos is one of the newest spot downtown and it’s a must! Everything from the salads, to sandwiches and pasta. For lunch or for dinner you will not be disappointed. The bar is fantastic, and the owners did a great job turning this place into the go to restaurant.

I truly enjoyed it. We had a very nice lunch. We had calamari for an appetizer and it was really good. I had shrimp scampi on top of linguini pasta. OMG let me say I would go back. The service was very nice. They gave us a free shot of lemon cello. The manager or owner came over to our table twice and asked how everything was. I would love to try it again. If you like Italian food I would recommend it.

New Italian restaurant open on Chippewa. Simple menu with delicious taste. Great apps/Salads/Pizzas/Pasta. We tried a variety of appetizers to include the must have chicken sausage w/beans and greens. The wife enjoyed the goat cheese pizza with mushroom, asparagus, and a balsamic drizzle which was cooked to perfection. I had the chicken prosciutto panini that had a spicy garlic spinach, this was fantastic and the panini bread was very fresh and easy to bite into. Very happy with the overall experience here. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is that I would like to see the menu evolve into more entrees in order to bring a broader group for dinner. This place will satisfy the customer looking for a great lunch, but I’m not sure about a big group for dinner. If you have a picky wife that eats light(no carbs) then her options will be a salad as there is no fish or meat options on the menu at this time. Overall though a must to check out especially before you go to a show, game, or just going out to party!!!
