Happy Tots Academy

Rude phone customer service and doesn’t accept walk-​in tours. Are they trying to hide something? Pretentious owner and unaccomodating. If you’re looking for a place that is warm and welcoming from the get-​go this place is NOT. I refused to even take a tour because of the first impression.

I fully recommend Happy Tots Academy to any parents looking for a warm, safe place for their kids. Our son was with Miss Nora for over 3 and ½ years and she did wonders for him and all the aspects his development during those years. The facility is clean, safe, homelike and fun. The size of the group is small so all the kids gets lots and lots of personal attention. There is a strong sense of community amongst the parents and we have found quite a few friends that we now spend time with outside of school hours. Miss Nora provides healthy breakfast and lunch options, cooked with organic ingredients (optional). There are many arts and craft projects being brought home, music classes and more. We always felt that our son was in safe and in good hands with Happy Tots Academy — check it out.

Nora and the team have been great to our daughter. We are very pleased with the warmth of the staff, the attention the kids receive and the quality of the facility. We also have enjoyed getting to know the parents of the other kids and feel there is a good sense of community here.

We spent many months looking for a suitable daycare for our daughter who was 8 months old at the time, and I started to think I would never find somewhere where I would feel 100% leaving her each day. That changed as soon as we found Happy Tots. This lovely home daycare is in a beautiful, shady street in the Burbank Hills and offers lots of inside and outside space that feels very safe and welcoming. All the teachers are wonderful, as is Nora the owner, and we felt from day 1 that they really cared about our daughter. She has now been at Happy Tots for 10 months and we would never consider sending her anywhere else. She’s happy to go each day and runs off to play with barely a backwards glance. She eats well, sleeps well, and spends her time doing fantastic activities from art projects. gardening and baking, to music, dancing and reading. She is always coming home with lovely things she’s made, and we have lots of opportunities to attend special events at the daycare such as Easter egg hunts, music lessons and tea parties which are always wonderful.
I feel so lucky to have found a daycare that feels like a second home for our daughter where she is well cared for, loved and nurtured. The staff feel like an extension of our family and I have total peace of mind each day knowing that they are looking after my child.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Happy Tots (as I have already done to friends with children), and can’t say enough good things about Nora and her team.

Nora treats her Happy Tots as if they were her own! We are so very lucky to have found Happy Tots. What a wonderful, loving environment! Our little guy is so delighted every afternoon when we drop him off. He runs in and points to all of his little friends and there are plenty of hello hugs! And he sometimes cries when I pick him up in the evening. He loves his Happy Tots!
I love that Nora spends a lot of time on educational activities as well as play and cuddles. She and her amazing ladies are so thoughtful and really put time into coming up with interesting crafts and lessons.
It amazes me how he’s picked up so many social skills and fine-​motor skills just by imitating the other kids around him. Though I now work from home, I still send him to HT because it’s such a big part of enriching his life.

Where can I start. Happy Tots by far is to me THE BEST daycare center in the city of Burbank. Giving the title as a daycare does not give enough credit how amazing this place is. First of all, it is located on the quiet parts of Burbank Hills.
The security is hands down the safest. You need a security code to get into the private gated house. Once you enter the premises, its like a gateway into the world of where a baby/​child would like to be in. There is artwork shown on the walls and hanging on the ceilings. There is a safe play area with plenty of toys for the children to play with. A nice nap area for the children to snuggle in while soft soothing instrumental music is playing in the background.
The daycare owner by the name of Nora is a great educational administrator. She cooks healthy warm breakfast and lunch everyday. She teaches their ABC’s, numbers, colors to what caters to the child’s age development. My son just turned three years and is already telling me phonics sounds! That is unheard of for that age level.
I highly recommend this home daycare to any parent that wants their child to grow, learn and become enriched in this happy place called «Happy Tots Academy».

Not friendly over the phone at all. The first thing Norma asked how I got her #. which I got it on Unilocal!I called to find out rates and info. She didn’t want to tell me all she kept saying is to look on the web. She kept interrupting me. I wouldn’t consider this care for my little toddler. If she is rude to me over a phone call. I can’t imagine how she is with the kids, I’m sure they are not Happy Tots. :(
