What can you say. Same olé Mexican Inn food; however, none will be as good as the old original that was downtown and now gone. Have always had good service here. I always get the same thing here.

Service is good sometimes not. Kinda luck of the draw. Food is always consistent though, which is why I return. The original location in East Fort Forth is really the most authentic location.

I was here Sunday before labor day and had placed an order to go for us to eat before we went out of town. When i got home and took everything out i noticed they forgot part of my order. I called and spoke with the manager, Carlos, he quickly apologized and wanted me to come back and pick up the remaining part they had left out. I explained to him that we were leaving town and would not be back until Tuesday. He wrote down my name and repeated my original order and told me if I stopped back in when we got back he would make sure we would get our food. To my surprise when I went by there, they knew who I was and promptly came back with our entire original order and another apology. Thank you Carlos for everything you and your team did to make everything right!

First time at this location and as usual it was excellent, took a little while to get my alcoholic beverage but overall service and food was great. I’ve been eating at Mexican Inns for over 55 years and their chips and salsa are the best I’ve every had EVER! When I lived on the otherside of Dallas, I’d drive the 80+ miles for their food and bring home a large order of their chips and salsa. Even my husband who’s from the east coast loves their brisket tacos. I’ll be back for sure!!!

I’ve been here a few times with my husband for lunch and I think is a pretty decent place. I love he Brisket Tacos for lunch. The chips and salsa are good. I’ve drank the strawberry margarita and is yummy. The white cheese deep is delish too. The lunch prices are not bad at all. Not the best Mexican but not the worse either.

I have eaten here a couple times while visiting family and it was good both times. I have had their enchiladas and their chimichanga. All were very good and I would recommend them. I am not a drinker but my dad likes the margaritas. One of the things I always look for in a Mexican restaurant is good chips and salsa. Here you will not be a disappointed. The chips are homemade and while the salsa is a little tomatoey, it isn’t too bad. It could stand to be more spicy but I like things hot. Service was good and relatively quick. I would recommend this restaurant if you like standard Tex-Mex food.

Always a great place to stop by and enjoy good food and great customer service! Kayla, a waitress that took care of my sisters and I did an amazing job of being attentive. As a matter of fact, I have never had the pleasure of being served by a waitress a good as she!!! The food has been good since I was younger, but the customer service makes you keep going back for more!

I personally am not a fan of Mexican food but my daughter is so we come here often. The fresh tortillas, made constantly as you watch, are perfect. The homemade corn chips are addictive. This is definitely gluten free friendly and that makes the«sacrifice» easier LOL. Have eaten at the original for decades. Food is fast and made correct when any alterations are requested.

Fair Tex-Mex food. The chips are somewhat greasy and remind me of homemade Fritos. Really good deal with coupon we received in the mail. Will return when we get another coupon but probably wouldn’t go back for full price. Service was good on a busy Thursday night.

Bad salsa and chips, the queso was ok but the chips were gross, service was bad, never got a refill on the drinks, the enchiladas were good but everything else was bad.

The food was good but the service was great! All the food we ordered had a bit of spice to it which my kids weren’t crazy about. For me and my husband it was wonderful. He had the brisket Tacos which were sooo good and I had the fajita chimichanga on rice which was also amazing! Thank you for a good meal!!!

I’ve been coming to Mexican Inn since I was a kid. The chips and corn tortillas are made fresh everyday and are The Bomb!

I’m impressed with this place. This is my first time to this location, and second time over all locations. I’m for sure coming back to this place. I came in on my lunch break, hoping to get a good soup and quick. I was not disappointed. I was quickly greater and seated. Then as soon as I sat down, the server had corn tortillas and chips and salsa on my table. I ordered water and tortilla soup for lunch. The chips and salsa are pretty good. Pretty sure the chips were made here, and same with the salsa. The tortilla with a lil bit of butter was as good as any. When I got the soup, about 5 minutes later, it was exactly what I expected. chicken, and plenty of it, cilantro, onions, rice, avacado, celery, tomato, and those little tortilla strips. Yum! It was piping hot, and taste delicious. Can’t wait to return.

I’ve eaten here a couple times now for lunch. I have noticed that the food can be hit or miss. The last lunch was great. I got the taco salad which was very yummie. Had lots of greens and tortilla strips mixed in. The last time the food was ok. I had the chicken enchiladas. The corn tortillas they served were raw on one side and tasted funny. It’s on th he freeway and there are tons of other dining options near it. You might get a good lunch here, or you might get a so so lunch here.

Stopped by there on Saturday for a late lunch with the family. Service was great and the food hit the spot. This is not some fine dining restaurant serving the latest in food fashion. They serve traditional tex-mex and do it well. The home-style fritos and hot sauce were delicious; hot and salty corn chips served with a mild hot sauce. These really hit the spot. For the meal, we found the chicken enchiladas were tender, flavorful and served pipping hot. The beef tacos had just the right amount of spicy seasonings and were crunchy!!! In addition, the beans and rice were actually good and not just«plate dressing» in so many other mexican food restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Food is mediocre, sometimes it can be better than average. Won’t ever be my first choice, but it’s a good quick place to stop when you’re hungry and don’t expect anything wonderful. It’s better than Taco Bell and Taco Cabana, so they have that going for them. The service is usually good, but sometimes it gets really bad. Once, we had a manager pretty much tell us that we didn’t know what we were talking about after proving him wrong. I didn’t return for over a year. He’s still working there, unfortunately. So that’s a major minus on this place.

I’m sorry to tell you this but, I was expecting a lot more from this nice restaurant. First at all the chips(not chips, are fritos) are greasy and the salsa is nothing but crushed tomatoes. My wife ordered a create your own combo and I ordered the fajita dinner, the hot plate it was mostly onions with a small portion of fajitas on the plate.(We went for dinner not for lunch) One more thing, you have to choose between cheese or guacamole but not both. Rice was so dry and finally my beans with no taste whatsoever. Service is so so, our plates reminded in our table and nobody came to pick them up at all. First time in this restaurant and to be honest I don’t think it will be a second time in quite some time. You can get a lot more, in any smaller Mexican restaurant.

I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food. I almost didn’t eat here just because of the name which like a fast food place. I am so glad I got past that and had my meal here. Our waitress was very good and the food was even better. I like HOT salsa. The stuff they serve when you come in isn’t hot to me at all. I asked the waitress if they had any real hot sauce thinking to myself that 99% of places don’t. To my surprise she said yes sir I’ll be right back with it. The whole experience went that way. I’d like to take the waitress home with me as well. Very professional and pleasant. I would recommend to my closest friends, family or colleagues.

I’ve been eating at Mexican inn restaurants since I was a little girl. The food is always delicious and hot. This restaurant is a family tradition I’m glad to share with my son.

I remember really liking this place before. The queso and chips(kinda like fritos) were really good. I don’t remember the salsa. rice and beans were good. Cheese and chicken enchilada just ok. they put sour cream sauce on both(NOT good on a cheese enchilada! I wanted queso, dammit!) and tasted like it came out of a can. definitely will not be back!
