The best thing about this place is that they purchased new washing machines a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, some of the larger ones are already beginning to fail — they short-​out half-​way through the wash-​cycle and need to be re-​started.
The bad side of things is that their hours are not what they claim to be. The clerks show up 2 – 3 hours late, especially on the weekends. So, though the hours state a 9 a.m. opening, they actually open between 11-​noon.
They do have a change machine to get the quarters you need, but make sure that you have the size bill you need. If you show up with a twenty and would like two tens, you won’t get it. I was told that, due to employee theft, money is no longer accessible to them.

Just brought my laundry back from their wash and fold service. I’m sitting her re-​folding everything, because it was so sloppily done, and all of my shirts came back wrinkled. A few (brand new) shirts came back completely shrunken. And two of my socks are gone…
I get this done every once in a while in New York, and this was more expensive and much worse in quality. When you decide to pay the price for a service like this, you hope it’s at least going to be done well. I’m really annoyed right now that I paid so much to have to re-​do everything and try to undo their mistakes… when I dropped off my laundry there because I didn’t have the extra time to do it myself.
On the plus side, everyone was friendly, and the space is clean. If I didn’t have them in my building, I might come back to use their machines. But I won’t waste my money dropping off my laundry there again.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The staff are kind and the place is clean but the owners are bozos who don’t really care about their customers. They have a drop off service which can be same day or next day pick up. No problem until you show up during posted business hours to pick up your laundry and they’ve closed early. Oh, and they’ll be closed the next day too. Meanwhile you’ll be naked or wearing the same clothes for 72 hours. They need to get their act together big time.
