I am more than pleased with my garage door. last thursday, i got an estimate from another garage company — the guy tried to get me to leave a deposit — as i had i told him i was not sure and that i would get back. short story. as soon as he left, i jumped on craigslist and Unilocal and found mike. and am i glad i did. he came the next day or so to measure and today five days after i first called him, i got home to a beautifully installed gorgeous garage door that was 40% cheaper than the first guy wanted! did not leave any mess — the garage looked cleaner than when he got there. i cant be happier — totally recommend mike for your garage door — i’m so glad i got rid of my heavy wooden one. 10 stars for mike!

Wow! I work with a lot of contractors and have had many garage door repair guys out to fix/​tune-​up my garage doors over the years but this guy is the real deal! He has been doing this for so many years, there’s nothing he hasn’t seen or done.
I called EVERY ad on craigslist and all the independents in the yellow pages for quotes. There are basically 3 – 4 garage door mfgs that everyone uses and depending on model, prices are all about the same for each mfg.
These guys were one of the cheapest but most experienced so I hired them.
Mike came after giving estimate over phone. Looked at everything and did NOT try to upsell. He gave me my options and ordered and installed the following week as promised.
VERY clean install, no radios, no smoking and did a very clean professional job.
Already recommended to one of my clients so he’ll be getting more business from me for sure.

How enthusiastic can one be about a garage door guy?
About 20 years ago, I needed a garage door and a friend recommended Mike at Pacific Systems. Mike has done three or four of them for me over the years and serviced mine a couple of times. I have recommended him many times. To make a long story short, he has always done exactly what he said he would, on time and at a fair price. They guy –knows– garage doors and recommends quality, fairly priced systems.
Highest recommendation.
–update– «What was that noise?» my wife asked. The dogs were barking. I had no idea. The next morning, the garage door wouldn’t open. It acted as if it was jammed but nothing was visibly amiss. Then I realized — that noise last night was the garage door’s spring breaking. Yipe.
Phone call to Mike and he was there in an hour, got our cars out. It was fixed that afternoon. Cost was very reasonable.
(Did you know they custom make springs for some doors? Fortunately, he does, and knows how to get them the same day.)
