This is the shop adjacent to Ten Ren Tea Time, where you buy teas&cups to take home as opposed to ordering something for drinking in the moment. It’s not the bubble tea shop next door with the same name.
I didn’t have the best experience… Lily is the most aggressive salesperson I’ve encountered before. Last night, she huffed, tapped her feet, and stared at me and my two friends, loudly sighing as we pondered with each other for only a few minutes about which pot to buy. We three were the only people in the store and it wasn’t nearing closing time. It’s as though customers are expected to know what the store sells and know exactly what they want to buy before even entering the store. They sold nice things, but without being given the chance to the explore the selection, how can one decide to buy something?
