J & J Towing & Recovery

Jerry of J&J Towing came out to pick up a car covered by State Farm to take to repair facility. He was on time and was a true pleasure with which too deal. He went out of the way to be pleasant and quickly and efficiently loaded the car for delivery despite pouring rain. I would definitely recommend J&J.

For Gieco customers and anyone who has Mario that comes out, you’ll have a flawless service. Between Mario and Gieco my experience was a total 5 Star. Now I don’t know about the receptionist and all the other 1star reviews. What I do know is Mario is the man! Super helpful, friendly, and cool. He made it to me within 30 minutes or so. He text me when he was on the way and gave me an eta. My back passenger wheel slipped off a dirt road and got hung up on a cement drainage ditch. Mario checked the truck to make sure there was no damage and also made sure when he pulled it out, it didn’t tear anything else up. He pulled me out nice and smooth. He also looked up some headlights he recommended and gave me a spot to get them at a low cost. Overall, he was rock solid. If he’s up for a company review, give the man a RAISE! He rocks. Their receptionist was very rude and inconsiderate as all that was needed was a tow down the street. Unfortunately, my car broke down on a very busy street and as I spoke with the receptionist, she stated she didn’t want to waste their tow truck service just to go down the street. Trying to call back, she immiedately hung up on us. we eventually called a different company and got everything sorted out. IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY’S SERVICES.

Would like to thank Mario for helping my wife get her car out of harms way after an accident he got her to the side of the road without us even calling for assistance. He then returned while she was stranded on the side of the road trying to find a tow thru our insurance company and again helped her get her car off the road. He was an awesome man and complete professional could not have asked for better service my family highly recommends J&J Towing. It’s a great to see there are truly nice people still around.

Unfortunately our insurance company has them on the list of tow companies. Twice they have cancelled on us last minute because they, as Jessica put it so rudely this morning, don’t want to beat up their trucks on our dirt road. It’s a half mile dirt road. Seriously?!? Why take the call in the first place? I didn’t know they set up shop in Beverly Hills. THIS IS SANTA CLARITA!!! Dirt roads shouldn’t be a problem. And, if you’re dispatch, you should be a little nicer. Being rude and hanging up on customers is not good business.

Worst company ever, the guy towing our truck yesterday was 4 hours late. He called and said he could not find our location and was stuck in traffic but in reality he was at Carl’s Jr eating. Once he arrived to pick up the truck he stated he brought the wrong one and would take about 45min to come back with the correct tow truck. I can’t believe this place is still in business. I will never use this company again.

Unfortunately, we have needed towing service a couple time this past year. The good news is that Jerry from J&J Towing was there to help. Jerry is a super nice guy and very personable. He took care of our towing needs with no problems. Once, from Santa Clarita all the way down to Van Nuys and recently we needed a local tow just a couple miles. Each time Jerry was the person that came to our rescue.
The towing industry has a stagnate reputation and in a lot of cases, rightfully so. However, Jerry from J&J Towing is professional, courteous, kind, cheerful and made my wife feel comfortable and safe when she needed help… that alone is a bonus!

Mario came after Geico called him for jump start service. Geico advised 45 minutes but Mario came within 15. He was super friendly and jump started our car right away. I would recommend J&J!!!

Car overheated 30 miles from home. Geico sent this guy out. Gave me an hour time frame. He showed up 15 minutes later! He’s the owner of the company… I didn’t get his name. Really nice! Did not leave a damsel in distress. Great conversation to the BMW dealership.

This company needs to work on their time management. I was told that it would take an hour or less to tow my vehicle. After an hour and 40 minutes the tow truck finally arrived. Customers beware, if you use your credit card to pay for their service, they will charge you $ 10 extra. Also, I was charged $ 30 just for 3 miles of overage…$ 10 per mile. :(
I will not recommend this company for towing service. Always ask your towing service insurance which company are they sending before you confirm a service.

I used this company to get an old VW van from its storage place in Castaic to my home in Canyon Country. The van hadn’t run or moved for several years, and that added a bit of a challenge. They were exactly on schedule, both at the pick-​up point and delivery to my house. The driver, Shane, was super accurate in unloading the van directly into the garage… we didn’t even have to roll it in. Shane was very friendly, they were good people to work with, and I used them because their price was low.

Would never use this company. I observed them driving with road rage, tailgating, laying on their horn and passing on the shoulder. There are lots of tow companies out there and the actions I observed would make me look elsewhere.

I’ve used Jerry on and off for about 7 years from getting into a locked car to having a customers car towed to our shop he even has the skates for 4 wheel cars if its stuck in park and can’t be moved

If I could give this place 1 star I would, let me tell you why. Last saturday my cousin locked my keys in my car in Valencia, immediately i call my insurance up to get help and they send me JERRY From J&J TOWING & RECOVER, I spoke to JERRY about the situation while he brought out his tools from the back of his truck. He pulled out an odd looking wedge and blade to unlock my car, upon JAMMING the wedge into the slit between the window and door, the glass shatters… and gets everywhere! JERRY cuts himself laughs and says «oops… this has never happened, well i guess you can get your keys now.» Im absolutely shocked that he breaks the window and has the nerve to laugh about a stressful situation but I let it go, JERRY gave me his card and said to call back and they would pay for the repairs wherever… BULL! I called and spoke to a lady whom had NO idea about the situation and tried denying it until i gave her JERRYS name and info, to which she replied that she would have him call me back. Hour and a half later JERRY calls me back and feeds me this bull that he has to call a different places to get estimates and wants me to drive out there for the repairs… which would be fine if he didn’t tell me it would take up to another day when ive already been waiting 2 days for the repairs. LONG STORY SHORT HE WONT RETURN MY CALLS, HE HANGS UP ON ME, AND THE PEOPLE AT THE OFFICE ARE PRETTY MUCH DENYING THE WHOLE THING AND I HAVE TO PAY $ 210 OUT OF MY POCKET!!! I KNOW IM SPEAKING OUT OF ANGER ON THIS REVIEW BUT I WOULD NOT WANT ANYBODY ELSE TO EXPERIENCE WHAT IVE BEEN THROUGH, PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM! IF YOU DO AND THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO YOU DO YOUR BEST TO HAVE IT FIXED THEN AND THERE!
