History

Established in 2004.

Philip M. Bierman founded Bierman Law Group. Mr. Bierman focuses on technology and intellectual property transactions, including, licensing and distribution, Web, Internet, e-​commerce and software transactions and other intellectual property and commercial transactions. Mr. Bierman has extensive experience in all phases of technology and business transactions.

His practice also includes intellectual property counseling, including trademark and copyright registrations, advice on brand selection, advertising and promotions, and other proprietary rights, as well as corporate formation and governance.

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Bierman served as Vice President and General Counsel of Accpac International, Inc., an industry leading multi-​national software developer, where he began working in 2000. Mr. Bierman has also served as Vice President and General Counsel of: AmeriMont, Inc., an investment, finance and Internet incubation company; Refer-​Law, Inc., a national legal information and radio production company where he also served as its Chief Operating Officer; and Inland Group, Inc., a real estate development and political consulting firm.

Mr. Bierman received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1990, and J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1993. Mr. Bierman received academic scholarships to both schools and was a member of MENSA, the high IQ society.

Mr. Bierman is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California.
