Located where Carlsbad, Oceanside & Vista meet, we specialize in pediatric & family chiropractic care. We utilize state-​of-​the-​art neurological scans to evaluate the function of the brain and nervous system.

We have helped kids and adults with a variety of health challenges including autism, ADHD, ear infections, scoliosis, headaches, constipation, acid reflux, asthma, ear infections and more.

History

Established in 2007.

Our chiropractic office opened in the Oceanside/​Carlsbad area in 2007 where we’ve been practicing every since. Our practice members come from Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Vista looking for specialized chiropractic care, wellness and healthy living, and to network with other like-​minded people.

As specialists in the nervous system, our doctors have helped many kids & adults with health challenges ranging from anxiety, depression, acid reflux, ear infections, asthma & allergies to neurodevelopmental disorders such as sensory processing disorder (SPD), Autism (ASD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

My 14 year old son was diagnosed with scoliosis last week. We have spent numerous hours researching information on treatment options, this lead us to Dr. Tyson Perez. We were
not disappointed when meeting with him this week. He took a lot of time reviewing my son’s
x-​rays and specific level of curvature etc He really listened to our concerns, addressing each
question thoroughly. We feel very fortunate to have found someone that we have confidence
in to treat and monitor our son’s unique curviness :) getting to the core root of the scoliosis rather than simply looking at the physical correction of the bones.

Dr. Tyson is an amazing chiropractor and years after becoming a patient of his I still recommend him if some one asks. I was able to see him for about 8 months and his adjustments did wonders for my immune system, neck/​headaches and more. Very thankful for the entire staff at Elevation, highly recommended!

My experience with the office was amazing from the first time we talked on the phone. I called them in regards to my 2 week old son who was having trouble moving his neck. Dr. Tyson not only walked me through the process and explained all practices related to infant adjustments, but he was always approachable and went out of his way to adjust my son while their office was closed for the move.
They are absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and approachable. They helped us so much and ensured we made progress with my little one, I can’t ever thank them enough.

Dr Tyson is awesome. He saved my wife from a wrecked back. The military messed her up initially and their poor care led to an addiction to pain killers. It carried over in the civilian world with Kaiser. They didn’t address the problem, only the symptoms. After a near death experience, I found Dr Tyson through a recommendation of a friend and after a couple of weeks of seeing him, she was no longer on pain killers. She has a shadow box with her story in his office. I used to see Dr Tyson for lumbar issues due to weightlifting and he helped me recover multiple times from a herniated L5. The office staff is friendly and Dr Tyson is willing to work with you on price. You can tell that he is more interested in treating patients than getting rich off of them.

I absolutely love Dr. Tyson. He is wonderful. A wealth of information! He goes above and beyond to answer my questions and has been a great source of health information for us. Dr. Tyson has come in on off-​hours to adjust us specifically, and has even provided his cell phone number to us when we needed some assistance. I love his holistic approach and his attention to nutrition and lifestyle choices. I love his academic involvement in everything child/​parenting/​pregnancy/​nutrition related. He is a strong supporter of breast feeding, natural pregnancy, homebirths, midwives/​doulas, and all things holisitic, including diet based immunity and active lifestyle. I appreciate his knowledge on vaccines as we do not vaccinate, and love that he offers/​hosts workshops to inform the public.
The office is close to the freeway. The kid’s adjusting table (wooden horse table) is adorable and the toys and kid area makes it comfortable for my 3 year old. Ther eis hardly ever a wait, as we usually just walk in during the walk in hours and get seen immediately. Kristin, the assistant, is amazing, and always greets my 3 year old son individually and checks in with him. When we skip a week or two, she calls in to check on us, just to make sure we are okay. The monthly family deal is a real bargain for what you get in return. I always walk away feeling great after an adjustment. I really love this place and highly recommend.

I regularly got adjustments from Dr Tyson Perez during the third trimester of my last pregnancy. I wish I hadn’t waited so long! It alleviated many discomforts, specifically my occasional lower back pain. After my daughter was born, she received her first adjustment at 2 weeks old. I recommend Elevation Family Chiropractic to anyone looking to improve their overall health. Dr Tyson is extremely knowledgable, very personal and accessible. He truly cares about your family and your health. I’ve received some of the best advice and insight from him and I’m so thankful for his services.

This has been the best thing I could have ever done for my children. I have three ranging from 7 – 12 years old and they are very active in athletics. Dr. Tyson keeps the kids in top form and I know we are preventing injuries because of it. I have also found since introducing regular adjustments, they have been overall healthier with infrequent colds or flu. The service is personal. Dr. Tyson is a genuine healer. He will always research something if you have an obscure question and he is so versed in health. We love this place!
