Have you ever been to a nanobrewery? It’s like a microbrewery except it only brews beer they’re excited about and you’ve got to come back on the reg to stay up-to-date on their evolving and innovative taps

Creative beers! A MUST visit for beer people. If they start bringing in food trucks they’ll be huge!

So love the fun beer selection that is here. I really like the green tea ipa, plus trying something new each and every time. Fridays are also great as they have Fire and Wine Catering there which adds to the YUM factor. So awesome. It is a tad hard to find, but once you do it is worth the search.

OMG!!! Absolutely a great place for beer and meeting new people. Being a home brewer it always nice to be able to speak with some of the brew masters of a brewery. Peter is one of the 3 owners and made us feel right at home. This place is nestle in a business strip in Carpinteria. The only thing I would suggest is to figure a way of getting through the line of people waiting for a beer. There were a few of us waiting in line and unfortunately we were behind a young lady that was more interested in talking with her friends than ordering a beer she was in line for. People started coming in from the other side and jumping the line. Finally we decided to do the same. They are blowing the doors off and with the great beers they have on tap they are going to become the new Stone or Russian River!!! Awesome job and can’t wait to visit again. Oh and the Pizza dude is a must, absolutely some of the best pizza!!!

Delicious beer. Nothing like you’ve ever had. It’s so nice when people make quality things using quality ingredients. This is one of those places. These guys are doing it right. I suggest trying all varieties– but if you love sours: Try their sours. SOGOOD. I wish this place nothing but the best– super nice guys who run it too.

Awesome new little brewery that opened up in Carpinteria. Specialty Ales, great craft beer and they also indulge in the sours. Yes!

Co-workers and I stopped here at the end of the work week. The Brew Lab is a place that exhuberates simplicity and also comfort. I wasn’t in the mood for fancy décor; a place free from all the airs and graces of somewhere else. The customer service is great. The bartender reminds me of the small town customer service rep that remembers your favorite drink and probably your last conversation at the Lab. There was a friendly dog quietly sitting behind the bar, ready to be fawned over :) The clientele is nice and welcoming as well.

Steve is awesome! My boyfriend and I came in here last night and were so happy to find a place that had the flavors of beer we enjoy. A tart peach beer with Brett, passion fruit saison, Belgians… So happy we found this place, what a brewery should be! Passion behind every brew. Thank you!

Here’s the deal: Brew Lab rocks. The service is spot on. It’s friendly, fast and man-o-man, they remember you, even if you haven’t been in for a long time. I like that. The beer? Be prepared, it’s varied, it’s experimental, it’s good, and unfortunately they occasionally run out. Also, industrial park cool spot. But the best part? I can walk there. Yes, I married well.

I’m so glad I found this place. I’ve been to more breweries than I can count and am so sick of the same old offerings. It’s refreshing to find a brewery of this size that truly makes an art of brewing beer. They had about 10 beers on tap and not a single beer was one you could find at another brewery or liquor store in the area. They were all good, but a few of them blew me away with their complexity and overall taste. The brewer behind the bar was super knowledgeable and cool to talk to. Brew Lab has the vibe of a place that has gotten back to the focus of making great beer without being flashy about it. I can’t wait for their expansion in hopes of expanded hours and growler fills.

These guys have totally come into their own and now make some of the most interesting, most consistently awesome beer in the area. And it’s still a super nice, chill, unpretentious spot to hang out. If you actually like beer, this is now 100% a required stop in the SB area.

What small operation has 3 saisons on tap? This place does! This awesome place came highly recommended by one of the barkeeps at another local establishment. So happy we decided to scoot over on a hot Friday night. If you’re a saison fan, you must try all three: Incandescence(crisp), Resilience(dry and fruity), and Llama(infused with Tican espresso beans). Pura Vida! Also tried the Green Room(fresh and hoppy). Everything was excellent and the environment super personable. The space is in an industrial area with lots of nondescript buildings, so unless you are really looking for it, chances are you’ll probably miss it. Seating is at a premium, so if you find a stool, consider yourself lucky and plant yourself there. Also, pretty much every part of the décor is functional. I made the mistake of turning on what I thought was a decorative spigot and ended up with a face full of water. My bad: P I was hesitant to mention that you should visit on a Friday, because Fire and Wine catering is there serving up some mean pies. I would hate for this place to get too, too, too crowded. Overall, effing great place.

Great refreshing beers, nice atmosphere, for only 11 months open, they have spectacular beers and a huge selection. What a lucky find! It is worth the drive, oh did I mention the beers were great?!

Small brewery with unique and interesting beers. There are normally 10 or 11 rotating small batch taps. It’s always a pleasant adventure to find out what they’re pouring. Each beer is available as a taster, if that’s your thing. The owners are terrific people. Come out and support them, but check online for their hours, which are limited. This is our go to place when we’re craving something special.

Brew Lab is a hidden gem! The beer is yummy and on Fridays they have a fire stoned pizza truck, which is awesome! They get a good crowd on Fridays so it takes a lil bit to get your beer but it’s worth the wait! The guys at the bar are friendly and helpful.

If you enjoy small intimate breweries this place is worth a visit. Three guys brewing some very unique brews, I found them to be very fresh and crisp. I’m sure this will definitely be one of my regular spots.
