Chandler Dogs 24/7

I love this place! I always get anxiety when leaving my dog, but Chandler dogs is so great, I hardly worry at all. My dog gets a ton of socialization and exercise while there, and always comes home super tired!
You can tell the staff truly cares about the animals and what they do.

Everytime I come here, my pup comes home exhausted from having such a blast here! The customer service is always on point and I love the puppy report card and video they send home afterwards!!!

I called several places to get my German Shepherd washed and a de-​shedding. Unfortunately none of the other facilities answered their phone. Joe from Chandler Dogs was the only person that answered the phone. I told him what type of dog I have and his temperament. Joe talked to me for approximately 15 minutes and explained the way his company worked and assured me that he was comfortable meeting my dog and doing an evaluation prior to his grooming. When I arrived he very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable about leaving my dog with him for the day. When I arrived to pick him up at 6:30pm, not only was it the best he had ever been groomed he was as happy as he could be.
Another special customer service touch is several of the team that work with Joe came to the front and introduced themselves. They gave me an update of his day and answered all my questions.
I think they have a great concept as well as a great team!!! Keep up the good work…

Unfortunately I have to give this place a negative review. I’ve used them several times and the last two visits were the very last straw.
Pros:
— open ²⁴⁄₇ as the name states so it’s convenient for drop off and pickup unlike other boarding facilities.
Cons:
–the place smells unbelievably bad
–you cannot see where they put your dogs so who knows what the conditions are like «back there»
–my Weimaraner got bit a few months ago and I was told it was very minor and no big deal but when I picked her up, I could see that it was a big deal and had to rush her to the vet where she received 12 stitches!
–this past week I had my Weimaraner and my Golden Retriever there for two nights. When I picked them up, I was told once again that my Weimaraner «got a small scratch on her back». When I looked at it, it was not a small scratch but rather a large bite wound and once again had to rush her to the vet! My Golden Retriever started coughing and retching within a day of picking them up and after yet another trip to vet, he was diagnosed with kennel cough! (Side note: they did reimburse me for the vet visit after I called them about the 2^nd dog bite but I didn’t even bother calling them after the kennel cough diagnosis and additional vet visit for my golden as I’d had quite enough at that point!).
Never ever again will my dogs be taken to this place. I’m not sure what’s going on here and how many dogs they take in at once but clearly they don’t have a handle on how the dogs behave (two major dog bites in two visits?!) nor on the health of the dogs allowed in.
Be very careful when selecting this day care/​boarding facility!

I should start off by saying that my little munchkin is my world. Where he goes, who I trust, and his well being are a top priority for me.
It was a year and a half ago that I knew working long late hours as well as continuing college classes, I needed help in making sure my papillon/​chihuahua/​love bug mix would have fun during the days I have to work long and late hours.
I checked out many places, but it was the hours as well as the orginal three associates (Robin, Jeye, and Carlos) who greeted Artie and myself with warmth, understanding and love in regards my concerns about safety, fun, comfort, and sanitation. If it wasn’t for the patience, demonstration of love and gentleness these 3 indiviuals showed toward my dog the very first weeks I was testing out Chandler dogs over a yr and a half ago and have continued to show (even late at night), I wouldn’t have become a regular client. The quality of care and ability to make sure the dogs feel welcome, cared for and given attention from check in to check out is important. Artie can never give Jeye, and other staff enough kisses because of this.
Since then, Chandler dogs ²⁴⁄₇ has very much become a part of Artie and my weekly routine. The staff never dismisses my concerns or other clients when it comes to beloved childern (pets).
Stephen (the owner) is wonderful. He continues to be hands on and greets and acknowledges customers with warmth when he is onsite. You can tell he truly cares about the animals and not in business to nickle and dime people; not something you see in all business owners. Joe (the general manager) is truly amazing and runs a tight ship to keep his team and chandler dogs running both smoothly and with the upmost care for your little (or big) one.
EVERY asscoiate (even Doug who is their accountant and in there maybe once or twice a week) shares a common thread of love, compassion and joy for being in a dogs company.
When dropping off or picking up, even if another guest is at counter they have another staff member come out and help with a speedy and warm check in. This type of costumer service is valued and makes both the parent and pet feel like they aren’t just another number.
Ericia and Nikkieta are rockstars and always so pleasent to see and will always notate special requests and cocncerns. The building is not the most elaborate but its truly the care and staff of my dog that makes this place like a second home. When we pull up Artie gets excited and can’t wait to go love on his friends; both daycare pals and his human buddies. From top managment down to supervisors like Alex, Candice, and night and day specialist: Rebecca, Lindsey, Amari, Cathy, Sam, Matt, Cheryal, Tyler and the many others that help create the loving and safe enviroment Chandler dogs is, thank you!
I recommend this place to all and have been blessed to find both a place with love and safety for my little one.
PS. I forgot to mention a huge bonus; they often make videos or take pictures and its so nice to watch them in action.

Updated!!! So after speaking with Erica their customer service rep she has completely gone above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. She refunded us the overcharge as well as the coupon and reimbursed us for our dog food and treats. This place really knows how to make things right. This is great customer service! We will def bring our babies back here for our next vacation!
I am so sad to be writing this review since we have taken our dogs before and never had any issues. I used to take my dogs to the Gilbert location and it was always a positive experience. This time we tried out the new chandler location and it was not a good experience. We dropped off 2 Maltese babies for 5 days stay while we went on vacation. I bought them a 5 lb bag of dog food and a brand new bag of dog treats. That way they would have more than enough dog food for their stay. The morning I was supposed to pick them up I got a call from them saying they ran out of dog food and if they could feed them their food. Both my dogs suffer from terrible food allergies so that was completely out of the question, my question is how do 2 small Maltese girls eat a whole 5 lb bag of dog food in 5 days? Something just doesn’t add up. They also finished the entire treat bag as well. Seriously? Then when we got home we realized we were overcharged by a day. We also had a groupon coupon that they never applied. My sister in law brought her dog too here same weekend and when she picked her up her dog had kennel cough and a tick. Wow this place has really gone down I’m not a happy customer anymore

My dog has been going to Chandler Dogs since December of 2012 and have never had any issues or problems. This facility is one of the very few that have 24 hour service, 365 days a year and no kennels.
I can completely understand that some folks may not be very accepting of free range play time every minute of the day. However, our dog loves it and starts to cry with excitement when we even pull in to the parking lot. I like that the dogs are not kenneled, they get to play and are closely monitored at all times.
I love this daycare/​boarding facility and won’t take our dog anywhere else.
Those that have not had such a great experience should ensure to reach out to the management team and give them an opportunity to make things right.

My 16 yr old dog had a great 4^th weekend at daycare. He hasn’t been for a couple months so he was excited when I checked him in and took off playing with the staff before I walked out the door. When we picked him up tonight, he was happy, healthy and well cared for. We had a friend take their young dog for the first time this weekend and he loved it too!
Great price for the care your dogs will receive. It is like leaving you kids with family. Every staff member is so helpful, loving and knowledgeable.

When I first moved to Arizona, I wanted to continue to take my dogs to a daycare where they would be loved and I felt very comfortable leaving them with. The are my babies, 100%. I called a lot of places, went in to some and then I found Chandler ²⁴⁄₇. First they do not breed discriminate, instead they evaluate each dog for their behavior and make a decision from there if they can come to this daycare. Its cage free so it is important the dogs play well together. Second you can absolutely tell they love your dogs, now that I am moving away they threw the sweetest going away party for my girls and if your dog has a bday, they get a party then too. They post tons of videos and pictures so you can catch a glimpse of your pup enjoying their stay. I had an issue when I first moved here with one of my dogs, she got really sick and I was traveling and she couldn’t go to daycare. Nikkita went above and beyond by checking in repeatedly and even offering to come let the pups out for a walk the one day the pet sitter would be away from the house for an extended period time. Finally, you cant beat the price, I have 2 so daycare can get expensive, but they have great package deals that made it very affordable. I also love it is ²⁴⁄₇ so if I got home from a late flight or had an early morning departure I could drop them off on my way to the airport.
This is a great place, you can take your dogs here with confidence and know that they will be well taken care of and loved by a very knowledgeable staff (who attend training and conferences to continue to develop their dog skills)

I took my little dog to Chandler Dogs for a grooming on ⁶⁄₁₁. I work far away so I had to leave him for the day. I went to pick him up after work and they bring him out and he is not groomed. I am told that they did not groom him because they could not contact me to find out what I wanted done. I had told the girl I dropped him off with exactly what I wanted done so I was very confused why they needed to talk to me again. I did receive 1 call during the day, by a number that was not their main number, but my phone does not work well at my office and the voicemail that came through was garbled. I did not receive any other calls. So ok, I will just make another appointment, inconvenient, but not horrible. While the groomer was holding my dog and explaining what had happened, she pet his ear and he Unilocaled. Her response was maybe he has an ear infection. My little one had just had a comprehensive vet visit the Saturday before and had a clean bill of health. My dog is very dramatic and she pet him again with no reaction, so I figured it was nothing. So I left the building and drove him home. While in the car I touched his ear accidentally and he Unilocaled again. Then when I’m almost home I get a call from them that my dog had been play nipped in daycare. Ok, first of all why not tell me when I’m there? They said it was not a big deal and wasn’t bad. I got him home and looked at his ear and there was dried blood and he was in pain. So I cleaned it up and put some medicine on it and let him be. He wasn’t acting like it was more then a little bite at the time. I had planned vacation that weekend so I left him with family and he seemed fine. I had made my appointment to have him groomed again for ⁶⁄₁₅. I took him there and when the groomer was having me explain what I wanted again she noticed that his ear was filled with fluid. She thought he would be fine to groom as long as she was careful. I decided he was not staying for daycare so they were to call as soon as she was done. They called me a little later and I picked him up. The grooming was great, one of the best he has had. I called the vet and told them what was going on and they suggested I bring him in. The only available appointment was Friday. When I took him to the vet on Friday they immediately said he had an infection and they didn’t understand why the doggie daycare didn’t bring him in when they saw a bloody bite. They had to drain the fluid from his ear and cut around the bite to get all the infection out. They then put a compression bandage on and prescribed him 2 weeks of antibiotics and steroids. He also has to wear a cone. This all cost me $ 125 and was only that cheap because I get his office visits free and a discount on services. It would have been closer to $ 200 without that. I had bought the Unilocal deal for his grooming so all in all his groom ended up costing me $ 150 and 3 weeks of pain for my pup. A VERY expensive grooming. He did receive a very good groom in the long run, but the lack of communication and seemingly care of my pup makes me very leery to go back.

I bring my dog here when I go out of town. The staff is great and I know my dog is in good hands

My dog seems to enjoy this place. He always comes back happy and tired, so it seems to me like he had a good time playing. I love the videos afterward, and the price is right.

Well I hate writing negative reviews but this time I just have to because it’s about my baby (my dog) anyway my boyfriend and I have brought our dog here maybe four times whenever we’re in the chandler area it’s normally been an okay experience but this last time we took our dog which was last week ever since my dog came out of there she’s been extremely sick. She was perfectly fine before we dropped her off. She’s been throwing up non stop all day and night. I always tell every single day care I drop off my dog at to not give her any dog food since she has a pretty sensitive stomach to that sort of thing, but even with that she’s never ever been this way or this sick before. It just makes me wonder what goes on in that place when I’m not watching (they can’t even follow simple
Instructions)if my dog came out this sick and she started right when she came out of there and hasn’t stopped since. We’re going to have to take her to the vet now which I’m sure will be very pricey but anything for her to get better

At first I wasn’t sure about this place. I didn’t know if I liked the idea of my dog being out all day and night with other dogs. I have a very high energy dog and nothing makes her tired. I decided to give this place a go because of the convenience of location and drop off/​pickoff times. My dog came home Sunday completely exhausted! She never is like that and she curled up and slept with me for three hours straight and then got her crate and slept the rest of the night. I would have to say that she must have had fun and was busy playing all weekend. They have her a bath before she got home and I was really appreciative of that.
I’m not 100% sold on the cleanliness of the place, because I didn’t see all the facility. But I have no definite complaints about it. I think they overall did a good job. I will try this out again sometime and see how she does. I’ve struggled finding a good day care and I’m very picky about it. I just want to make sure she’s safe here with he amount of dogs and them all being out all the time. But she seemed to be fine and love it. So I will take her back for another go:).

We left our 5 month old border collie mix for the weekend with Chandler Dogs. Upon our return he was happily exhausted. Prior to boarding over night, we had him hang out there a few days prior for a few hours. He seemed to enjoy it. Walked right into the back with the other dogs without even looking back at us.
There are two main benefits about this place that makes it unique and helps ease an owner’s mind: 1. It is completely cage free. You don’t have to leave knowing that you are sentencing your pet to prison while you go on vacation; and 2. It’s open ²⁴⁄₇! I ended up dropping off our pup (The Dude) at 5am, which was so convenient.
In addition to all of this, the staff there was very nice and set our minds at ease. A day or two after his stay, I received an email report card with a picture of my pup and a little description of what he did while there — who he played with and how much he ate. There was even a short video taken of all the dogs. I think I spotted The Dude in there once or twice having a great time.
The only downside was that he was a little stinky and had some dirty paws when we got him back. Nothing that a quick bath couldn’t fix up. He proceeded to sleep for the next couple of days. Anyone who has a puppy knows why it is so great to have an exhausted pup. We will definitely be back again!

I can’t praise Chandler Dogs enough for what they do.
This place is awesome. My dog Mari absolutely loves it there. In fact, we can be a few minutes away and she will begin whining with excitement in the car because she knows where she is going.
The staff is wonderful and seem to genuinely love being there. They love on Mari as if she were their own.
We were nervous at first that they would not take our pit mix because she has a tendency to be a little overly aggressive when she plays, but after the 4 hour trial period they said she did great and all she needs is to get that energy out.
They have a cage free policy which I LOVE and they arrange the dogs by size. our dog used to go to another location for boarding and when we asked how she did during multiple 1 hour playtimes during the day, they replied by saying that they couldn’t let Mari play with the rest of the pack because they couldn’t handle her and she just remained in her cage. I nearly died… 3 days my poor dog stayed alone in her little prison and probably only got 1 – 2 15 minute walks during the day, if that. Chandler dogs would NEVER DO THAT! (Thanks Chandler Dogs)
Be prepare to have your pup possible covered in a little drool and smelling a little, but the benefits heavily outweigh the negative. Just don’t send them to the spa first before day care/​boarding. However they do offer bathing services as well.

I am so glad we found a place that I feel safe and secure leaving my dogs while we’re out of town! We’ve used their daycare and overnight services at least ten times now for our five year old lab and two year old hound, and it’s been a breeze each time. Our dogs come home happy and tired, and I love seeing the videos that they share on their Facebook page showing me how much fun my dogs really had.
We’ve had them groomed there once after a stay and they were fresh and clean with nails trimmed. They are also pretty stringent on vaccines, so I don’t worry about my dogs picking anything up while they’re there. The employees are kind, personal and big animal lovers — I don’t have to pay extra for someone to play with my dog here, they’re in there all the time. I also like their amazing flexibility — I can drop off and pick up whenever is convenient for me, whether it’s 9 am or 11 pm, the ²⁴⁄₇ service is fantastic.
If you’re looking for a deal, check the Amazon Local deals. The current one is buy a night of boarding and get a night free. The amazon local deals allow existing customers to use them, which has been an issue with groupons and similar deals.

Well I hate writing negative reviews but this company is not a 4 star and I believe Unilocalers should be aware of customers’ experiences good or bad so they can make an informed decision about bringing their pet here.
I purchased a groupon for $ 25 for $ 50 worth of services a few weeks ago and tried to redeem it right away. I had a bad experience with their customer service when I tried to book an appointment. I called and made a Saturday appointment but when I followed up to confirm it, I was told that the groomer doesn’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. The person that answers the phones apologized for giving the wrong information, but said she would call the groomer tech and see if she could come in and let me know either way. She never called, so I assumed she didn’t work on the weekends. Keep in mind I live 20 mins away from this place and didn’t want to waste my time driving.
Now the experience .
I have a 6 month old female Yorkie. After the first appointment fell through, I decided to try again and give them a chance to see what they could do. I also wanted to use the groupon I purchased. My gf and I came in today to have Lexi hair’s trimmed and we dropped her off at 10am and we were told they would call us around 2pm to pick her up. They asked us what type of hair cut and we specifically told them a TRIM. When my gf picked her up today they made her look like a boy! Her hair cut is TERRIBLE ! After this experience I wouldn’t let my dog get a haircut there if they offered it for FREE! I guess it’s true what they say. You get what you pay for! I don’t recommend these people at all. I’ve uploaded some pictures from before and after her haircut so other potential customers can decide if they would want their female dog looking like this.
