Gilbert Dogs 24/7

Gilbert Dogs have taken care of our oldie but goodie English Bulldog Paris since we adopted her about four years ago. She loves going there, knows her way around and we love that. Thank you!

I recently moved to the east valley and tried this facility because my two dogs love going to doggy daycare. Upon approaching the front door there is a heavy unpleasant urine smell that only increases upon entering. That odor also lingers on my dogs upon coming home. Staff members although friendly are constantly unorganized and confused on who was coming and going. My dogs have always been excited and run to get into daycare but here they turn around and are hesitant which made me very uneasy about what happens while I am at work. I made the switch to Pete and Mac’s where they are excited and happy to be at. Overall disappointing experience with Gilbert dogs.

This place is great! Excellent care givers and an excellent facility. I love the no-​cage concept. I have 3 fur babies and I won’t trust them with just anyone. The owner and the staff here truly care for the animals. It shocks me that anyone can give a negative review based on smell. This is ²⁴⁄₇ indoor DOG park! Of course it has a smell!
Highly recommend for boarding & daycare. The taxi service is a huge convenience.

Brought my dog in for a deshedding treatment and a groom. I when i got home from picking her up i brushed out her coat and took a very large amount of hair off of her. On top of that she was not even fully trimmed. The hair around her ears and throat is still very long. The trim looks rushed even though they had my dog for about 10 hours. Not a good first impression.

I don’t enjoy giving places low stars, but this experience… wasn’t the greatest. My dog is a mix of pomeranian and chihuahua. I asked the groomer to hand cut and trim my dog’s fur short, however she recommended to shave her fur and said that it might not grow the same way. It was the same price to trim it by hand. It took an appropriate amount of time, but when I came back, my dog’s fur was still long… which was disappointing. This place is also a boarding house for dogs. They need to do something about the odor in the lobby. I walked in and it smelled like urine and ammonia. I don’t think I would go back again.

I took my dogs to Gilbert Dogs to be groomed on a Saturday. They were able to squeeze me in last minute, which I appreciated.
The grooming took an appropriate amount of time. Everyone who worked here was really friendly.
I noticed 5 – 6 piles of poop in the doggy daycare while waiting to pick up my dogs. I notified them of it and they went to clean it right away.
Here is where they lose stars:
1.) The place was extra stinky. I cannot help it — I am acutely aware of smell. Yes, I know they have dogs here, but they need to do something about it. The one in Chandler does not smell nearly as bad.
2.) My dog Noodle was nicked both under the leg and on her eyelid. It was not immediately noticeable, but as soon as I got home I noticed. I called and spoke with a young man on the phone about her eye. He said he would have someone call me back. That never happened. I know these things can happen, but I just feel like the groomer should make you aware of it at pickup.
Overall, this location is not as convenient to me as Chandler Dogs ²⁴⁄₇. I will continue to go to Chandler Dogs, but I will probably not be back here.

Have never had to board my dog before, but we were leaving on vacation and had no one to take care of my Sheltie. Found Gilbert Dogs on Unilocal and it had great reviews so we thought we would give it a try. Called them, they had me bring him in a few days before we left to socialize with the other dogs and to show us the facility. It was clean and the staff seemed to really care about my dog. Left him for a few hours and he seemed to be fine. Used the Unilocal coupon, but I have to say the prices seemed really reasonable. They have a room for large dogs and then one for small dogs. Liked the idea that they did not kennel the dogs, that they all stayed together in a large play area. Would definitely use them again!

My Lab Husker loves this place. We have taken him here a number of times and have always felt he was in great hands. He never seems to want to leave when we pick him up, yet he sleeps for the next few days from all the fun he’s had!

Love Gilbert Dogs! Used a Group on for my two dogs yesterday. Was very easy to schedule appointment. Very friendly staff. Very affordable.
Our appointment was at 9 am and they said they would be done by noon. We were unable to pick our dogs up till 6 and they let them stay for the day till we picked them up, free of charge! The dogs looked awesome after their grooming!

My relationship with the ²⁴⁄₇ Dogs group started several years ago, when I first got my pup. I found my dog as a stray. She was walking in the road and when I went to get her, she ran right to me. It turned out she had escaped from a local shelter and didn’t have a forever home. I offered to foster her, though that didn’t last long since I quickly fell in love! I was ready to adopt her, but I was met with a dilemma… I was working crazy hours and lived in an apartment. Thankfully, someone recommended Gilbert Dogs ²⁴⁄₇ to me. That was love at first site too! ;) Each ²⁴⁄₇ location is clean and well cared for. It is always staffed, meaning the dogs are never left alone. It is cage free, so it seems more like a home environment.
When we first arrived, we needed to provide proof of vaccines including Bordetella (kennel cough). They also do a flea and tick treatment for each dog, upon first arrival. This ensures a healthy and clean environment so you never have to worry about your dog catching anything while at ²⁴⁄₇ Dogs. They also do temperament testing to ensure each dog is a good fit for the daycare/​cage free boarding environment. This policy, their constant supervision and separation of big and little dogs is likely why they never seem to have any problems and why I am always at ease when my dog is there.
Possibly my favorite thing about the ²⁴⁄₇ Dogs group, is the amazing staff. Their love for dogs and their jobs is so apparent. They are usually seen playing with the pups in a healthy and engaging way. It is clear to me how much my dog loves all of them and it is wonderful to know how well cared for she is, when I am away. It is also noteworthy, that many of them volunteer at various shelters during their off time. In fact, the entire company is committed to animal rescue. The company supports many rescues; from sponsoring fundraising events to boarding shelter dogs for free– they do it all! This is a company with heart.
I also love that they are ²⁴⁄₇. If you work odd or long hours, plan a trip with early morning or late night arrival or departure times, or just need more flexibility for care– this is the place for you! ²⁴⁄₇ means that even in the middle of the night on Christmas, someone will be there to hang with your furry family members. In an emergency, I know my dog is safe and secure. They also have a great system for feeding, so your dog can eat as many times as they do at home. The food they provide is high quality, but my dog has allergies, so I bring my own. I have even forgotten her food and Brandi (manager at the Gilbert location) actually went out and bought the appropriate food for her. They are so caring and considerate there– it is unreal.
As if that isn’t enough, they find time in the day to take the most adorable videos and pictures! I love getting the opportunity to see what my goofy dog did for the day! When I board her, it makes leaving her behind easier, because I can check in and see how much fun she is having! My favorite videos tend to be from the days they have had birthday parties. (That’s right, each dog gets a birthday celebration!) I am telling you, these videos are a riot!
When I talk to people about ²⁴⁄₇ Dogs, they hear how much they offer and how much I love it. This often leads to an inquiry about the price. I am happy to report that when I started my dog at Gilbert Dogs, I was a working college student. Prices haven’t changed and it was just as affordable for me then, as it is now. My life has changed quite a bit over the years and now I live in a house with a yard and a dog door. I also work quite a bit from home. I still make a point to bring my dog to daycare regularly, because I can tell how much she loves it there and find her to be a happier and better adjusted dog from her time there.
Many people would call my love for animals extreme. I am deeply involved and committed to animal rescue. I volunteer, foster and advocate. I am incredibly devoted to my sweet pup and consider her family. This being said, it should be no surprise that I take her well-​being very seriously and don’t trust just anyone with her. The fact that I only have positive things to say is truly a reflection of this amazing company. I realize that at this point, this review is more like a novel, but I could write nothing less for a company that excels at everything they do. Look no further for daycare or boarding– you and your dog are home.

I took my dogs to this location when they first opened. I liked the open concept as my dogs like to play and do not like being in a kennel like other places keep them. My dogs always come home happy. The staff play and take care of the dogs so I never worry about them when I am gone.

I only ended up having one dog groomed so I dont have much to speak to but the grooming on my hairy aussie mix was awesome. Job very well done.

I work ungodly hours and after the ex and I split up our dogs I was a little nervous about what I would do with my 4 legged child. (she got Bailey our Golden:(I was Especially worried because I had a friend lose two dogs in that concentration camp known as Green Acres.
As I work sometimes 16 hours a day I feel like a crack dad but my little girl eagerly jumps out of the car and runs inside.
She comes home tired and eats and jumps in bed and promptly falls asleep. She is socializing well (she’s only 4 months old), they are very reasonably priced (I would actually pay more so I hope they don’t read this)
They even gave her a free bath once when she got a little too dirty. They are open 24 hours which is the best, none of the others are.
They staff is always friendly and as long as she’s happy going I am happy to bring her.
The only minor issue I had was a mix up with her feeding schedule so she came home and attacked the refrigerator, but I spoke with someone and it was addressed so no biggie.
So again I love that they are open ²⁴⁄₇
That 7am untill 5pm stuff is shenanigans, this is the real world.
You’d think other places would follow suit.

I’ll be honest, I initially selected Gilbert Dogs because they had a Unilocal coupon. I have a yorkiepoo and a poodle bischon. It took a little longer than I has expected (which was only my issue because I was leaving to go out of town and waited till the last minute to get them groomed), but they look great.
I’m happy with the finished result. The only real thing I would ask for next time is for them to grind their nails. My yorkiepoo who is still a puppy scratched my daughter’s arm up going crazy excited to see her, because her nails were sharp.

I lost Rommel but I now have a new dog that I take here since moving back to AZ. I still love Gilbert dogs and all they do for Dottie! I wish they would open a location closer to north Phoenix since it takes me 45 minutes each way. But it’s worth the drive because I can trust that my dog is well cared for!

We just moved to AZ and feel SO lucky we found Gilbert Dogs! They are staffed 24 hours, so you can pick your dogs up at any time! I work odd hours and regardless of the pick-​up time, I am always greeted with a friendly smile!
My dogs love it here! Even after a traumatic coyote attack, my little dog has regained his confidence with their help! My shy and fear-​aggressive dog has calmed down and now loves to play with her new friends! I am so grateful for everyone who works here and their help with my little ones.
The fees are very reasonable, the groomer is great as well!
I highly recommend Gilbert Dogs!

Gilbert Dogs is a great place for your dog to vacation while you are on holiday. Their facility is large enough to accommodate a great mix of dogs. They have an area for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. They are open ²⁴⁄₇ and staffed the entire time.
I put my medium size dog in the small area so he can feel like a king (he’s a very easy going puggle). My dog always is always excited to go and play with the dogs while we are away. I know he plays A LOT, because 10 minutes into the car ride home, he is passed out. He is as excited to go to Gilbert Dogs ²⁴⁄₇ as he is to come home with us.
As much as I think my dog is depressed when he sees us packing up for a trip, he is the first one out the door and into the car knowing that he is going to Gilbert Dogs ²⁴⁄₇ for his retreat.
I have been a client of Gilbert Dogs ²⁴⁄₇ since they opened. I had an older dog that needed extra care (who is now in doggy heaven), and they were great with him. I had no problem bringing my dog there.
This place truly cares about dogs. They are always friendly and willing to work with any needs or extra care, without nickel and diming you.
Worth their weight in Gold!

The only place I trust when boarding my dog!!!
Especially after the incident in Gilbert where so many neglected dogs passed away, it is important to do your research on boarding facilities! Gilbert Dogs is very professional, clean and staffed around the clock. I love the effort that is put into sending me pictures and reports so I know my German shepherd is having a good time, and it has done wonders for her socialization.
Everyone knows my dog’s name, even when I run into the staff outside of the facility. I have emailed them with training problems and there are always very helpful — it is good to know they are in the business because they love dogs and not out to make a quick buck.
I was a little uneasy about the «kennel free» environment for many reasons — but the videos they provide of my girl put me at ease, along with how happy she is walking into the building and how exhausted she is when she gets home! The staff is trained on how to control a pack of dogs so don’t think for one second they are just wildly running around. The dogs definitely have down time at the facility but she gets to play so much more than what she is used to so she is pooped! I was also assured that dogs are separated while eating :)
I bring my dog here every time I go on vacation and sometimes just so she can have a play break. The staff takes great care in addressing my concerns and I love working with people who love my dog almost as much as I do!

Hi, My Mom said that I could write a review for the doggie day care. When i first went to this day care I was scared. I went to two other day cares. One kept me all night one time because my Mommy was 5 minutes late cuz of her work. And one was very noisy and I got scared, cuz I’m a little doggie and the people were kind of irtitated and there was a loud noise that Mommy said was a train and no one cared and so I got so scared my Mommy had to come get me and take me home.
When I’m scared by a loud noise at this place they just understand me and don’t expect me to be brave. And Mommy says she likes this doggie day care cuz she can pick me up and drop me off at any time, which works well she says for day care and for travel. She says the price is right and it helps her buy me more treats. Whoo hoo. I like treats a lot.
I love to play with other little doggies and run around like crazy. They let us stay in a big room with each other so if I want to hide I can hide and rest and if I want to play I can run around like crazy with my friends. And the humans there are good friends too and they like to pet me. One is crazy about Chihauhau looking doggies and one remembers me from my first day care. Of course they love me cuz I’m cute.
I stayed there once for some days when my Mommy said she had to travel. She said she was having a people vacation and I was having a doggie vacation. I missed her and my home but a lot of times I was playing so hard I forgot to miss her. They gave me my same food to eat as I eat at home. I like food! It is sooo gooooood!
Sometimes I get my toenails clipped there too. That makes me feel better! Mommy says she saves money on that too!
But what I really love is the doggies and playing and running. I get really tired and it is nice to come home and lie in my little bed or on the couch by mommy and take a nap. But she sees I like it cuz I get more happy and play more at home too. She says it makes me more «confident» whatever that means.
I just know I like running with a pack. I have two packs now, my little pack at home with Mommy and that crazy non-​dog Kitty Cat thing… and one at doggie day care. I feel more like a dog now and Mommy says that makes me more healthy.
What I want to know is where are all the treats she promised me with the money she is saving!!! Also i want to know when do I get to go back!

Looked on Unilocal,of course, to find a place to take my babies and found Gilbert Dogs. To add to the fact that I had found a place close to me with good reviews, I also got a deal to use for $ 10 off.
I walked in was greeted by someone at the front desk and a groomer. They were very polite. The groomer, after asking what I wanted, immediately grabbed my two dogs and took off with them. I bet i wasn’t in there five minutes. I wish they had played with my dogs and gotten to know them before they just whisked them away. One of my dogs was wearing a thunder shirt which clearly indicates anxiety, but they took no time with us. I was really surprised.
What wasn’t surprising was that my dogs were shaking when I picked them up. I think they were terrified I wasn’t coming back.
At any rate they did exactly what I asked and my dogs looked and smelled really good. They aren’t terribly friendly, but are polite. I wish they had been more talkative to me and treated me like they wanted me to come back. Instead it was just a transaction: pick up dogs, pay, leave.
The place was clean, but loud, because they do boarding, but I’m sure it must have freaked my dogs out to hear all that noise. I didn’t realize it would be all in the same area when I found the place. You can hear the dogs barking from across the parking lot.
So, they did a good job at a good price grooming my dogs, but I want to feel appreciated, I want my dogs to be actually cared for (I miss my Vegas groomer, she LOVED my dogs) and I want to feel like I’m dealing with friends, not a counter person at a retail store and that’s what this felt like. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
