I’ve had a life long interest in trees, from working the date palms of California’s Coachella Valley to growing native nursery stock in the Pacific Northwest. Following a stint in academia, I landed in North Carolina, climbing and felling trees for residential tree services. As I worked I also studied, finding that the «tree experts» commonly talked clients into unnecessary removals, and often worsened the condition of the remaining trees. l started The Treeist to follow a more informed vision and to provide local residents and neighbors with sound advice and conscientious care.
