This was my go-​to nail salon while living in Lincoln park. They do a great job, have a very inviting and clean atmosphere and it’s byob. They provide the glasses for you. They’re doing everything right here. The manager does a good job coordinating the staff to make sure everyone is being taken care of. Best value in Lincoln park for sure.

Love this place! They are super detail oriented and will take their time on you. Nice, clean spa with good people working there.

Friendly staff, always more than willing to stay open late for a late appointment and work without rushing. They have a great selection of polish– I always find exactly the colors I’m looking for.

My daughter and I both had mani pedi services with no chip polish… All I can say is wow! Clean facility, very friendly staff. They were so thorough and detailed. The pedicure massage was awesome. Love the great selection of perfect match colors. So glad we found this place and it’s close to the apartment…

This was my first time at this salon and the experience was not a good one. I went in for a gel no-​chip fill and walked out paying $ 70. I asked if they could trim my cuticles and they charged me $ 20 for that service. I also was charged $ 10 for the gel polish. Needless to say, the polish chipped on 3 of my nails 3 days later. Going back for a follow up appt to get these fixed, but I am not happy about the quality of work for the amount paid. Not worth it.

This place is AMAZING! They take care of you and they truly care about your experience, which I love! Qui-​Qui is the girl who does my nails every single time, she is simply amazing! She takes her time and does a wonderful job every single time. Each time I pay, it’s money well spent.

Ran in here last minute on a Wednesday around closing time (only time I could fit in before a wedding, oops) and they very kindly, without hesitation, stayed late and gave me a wonderful gel manicure and relaxing pedicure. I was literally the only person there and while everyone else around cleaned up and closed the salon, they didn’t rush in the slightest or sacrifice quality. I’m very impressed and will 100% be back!

I wasn’t happy with a sloppy no chip mani and went back the next day. No questions asked they redid it and it looked great! All I did was show them my nails and why I wanted it fixed.
I will definitely keep going here!

Really clean space and very detailed work! I liked that my manicurist checked that the shellac nail color was the one I wanted as it looked different on the nail.

I stopped here with a friend for a girls nail day. Great service and attention to detail. $ 40 for a mani/​pedi combo even on weekends! It’s a BYOB spot too and they charged no extra fee for glasses.
We were able to get in, sip our champagne, get our nails done and leave in a timely maner.
Overall great spot in the old town neighboorhood.

This isnt my usual salon, but a few friends and I were in the area for brunch and one of them booked us manis and pedis here. The foot massage was great, but I think they could have been more thorough during the spa pedicure. It seemed too basic for what I paid for. My toes look great, but I felt like it was a rushed pedicure. Same for my manicure. I paid way too much for a rushed service that wasnt up to par with what I get for $ 20 LESS at my usual place. Service was good, but I feel guilty for cheating on my monthly nail salon n paying soo much.

Eason did a great job on my OPI gel manicure! Just a heads up though… Essie gel manicure costs $ 5 more and I’m not sure why.

I went here once and decided that this is my place for, like, EVER. I go every two weeks for a no-​chip manicure and pedicure, with an occasional eyebrow wax thrown in. They know me by name, have always been accommodating of my special requests, and will even double-​team when I’m in a hurry. The work done by my nail technician is absolutely impeccable. The place is bright and clean with lovely (not tacky) décor. And did I say clean? Honestly, I just hope they never close or move out of the city because I don’t know what I’d do. A hands-​down 5-​star place.

They have a range of different pedicures to pick from. Lots of no chip options. Butterfly chair for kids. Everyone is friendly. My fav nail place!

Clear nails spa was a spontaneous stop after brunching at Nookies Too down the street. It was a «treat yo self» kinda day since my friend and I were playing hookie from work. The Unilocal reviews of Clear Nails weren’t too great but since it was convenient location wise, we decided to give it a shot. It turned out to be a pretty disappointing experience but you learn from your mistakes, right? When we first walked in, we were greeted and told to choose a polish color which is standard. Their prices are fairly comparable, $ 15 for a «signature manicure» and $ 28 for a «signature pedicure». My signature mani was an additional $ 5 since I chose the CND polish which claims longer lasting wear and it did last about a week!
Once I chose a color, I was seated immediately and my manicurist came to get started on me. First, when she was cutting my cuticles she started getting really aggressive and my cuticle started bleeding on one finger (currently still hurts since it’s not fully healed). Then when she got to painting my nails, she did a sloppy job and finished in under 10 minutes. After I left the salon I took a closer look and saw that my nails were bumpy and full of air bubbles! Yuck! So I turned around and dragged my friend back with me and showed my nails to the man greeting people in the front. He apologized on her behalf and told me to take a seat so I could get my nails redone. Most of my nails were ugly so he took all the polish off and I requested another manicurist to redo my nails. I hate being «that girl» who is a demanding diva but if I’m paying for a service I should be satisfied with it. The second time around my mani looked much better but still wasn’t amazing. I wouldn’t recommend coming here since I’ve had better manicures for cheaper and with better service.

I’ve been to this place a couple times, and overall I had a pretty good experience. The owner is very nice, and they’re pretty accommodating for walk-​ins and last minute appointments. Both times I went I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure, and they have a good selection of polishes for both types of manicures.
The place is really big, and they have a lot of stations, including a butterfly pedicure chair for kids. You usually have to ask for magazines which is a bit odd, but overall I had a good experience when I was there.
However, I went a few weekends ago to get a mani pedi for a wedding I was attending, and after putting on my shoes for the wedding four hours later, my pedicure got ruined, making it a total waste of money. Also, my gel manicure was a bit clumpy, and definitely didn’t last me as long as it should’ve. I would’ve definitely gone back if it wasn’t for that, which is why I’m giving them 3 stars.

Heaven, you have answered my prayers, and it’s in the form of clear nail spa. Now, before u roll ur eyes and think that’s just what Lincoln park needs, another quickie nail salon, this one is truly a gift to all the ladies (and men) of LP.
All the things that a quickie nail salon has to offer, such as snagging a spur of the moment appointment, and low prices are here and Clear Nails. However the things that one usually has to sacrifice, such as atmosphere and amenities are all part of this awesome new gem of a salon
Among the highlights– BEAUTIFUL spacious salon. I mean, this place is gorgeous, such a breezy open and tranquil feel. the nail services are pristine. One of the best pedicures of my life. The prices are comparable, if not better than other nail salons. And finally, the techs are so so sweet and accommodating. They are polite, and professional and happy to provide services.
Clear Nails really knocked it out of the park and truly deserves every bit of a 5 star rating. I am so excited to make this my new neighborhood nail spa, and you should too. Mark my words, u will never go to another nail salon again– its that life changing!
