The Learning Tree

I’m really sad I never made it out to this store before it closed. I usually go to the Teacher Store on Milwaukee because it’s so much closer (and therefore convenient) to my house. A coworker sent me an e-​mail about the going-​out-​of-​business sales that were going on, so I decided to check out the store.
They definitely had everything. From classroom supplies to textbooks to teacher supply room goodies, there was an array of products to meet every need. There was a ton of games, books, activities, etc. for all subjects. I can’t really speak to their foreign language section as there was only materials left in Spanish, so I can only hope that they had sold French items at one point. Maybe everything was gone by the time I came in to look around.
This was definitely a great store for parents, too. There is so much great stuff here to keep kids active and engaged in fun learning activities. I’m really sorry I didn’t make it in until the store closed. They were family owned and operated and really didn’t deserve to succumb to this terrible economy. Hopefully The Learning Tree can recuperate and open up a store somewhere else (or maybe just stay in business online).

Great store! It makes it super easy to spend my super large teacher’s salary here. Tons of great books, activities, and games. Every time I step foot in this store, I leave with a bag full of stuff. Great store for teachers and parents!

Talk about a store that has everything a teacher (or parent who wants to teach their kids) needs to get the learning going!
