Description

Specialties

Peruvian food is a combination of the many Europeans that settled in Peru, such as Italians, Croatians, French and Germans. In addition, we also have Asian influence from Japan and China, the Africans also contributed greatly to our food. As all these migrations took place they tried to adapt their food with local ingredients like Peruvian savory corn, with huge kernels, «Aji» peppers, purple corn, sweet potatoes, etc. We hope to surprise people positively with the variety of food and foreign influences.

«Via Lima translates as through Lima,» says Eni. «Peruvian cuisine is heavily influenced by the migrations that came through the region of many disparate people from Europe, Asia and Africa, creating a literal melting pot of dishes and foods.»

The earthy décor of the 2,600-square foot restaurant include flourishes like globular light fixtures that look as if they were grown in the forest rather than manufactured. Original wall art and varied shades of Via Lima’s signature color purple, including a purple llama, prominently adorn the wall. The lush, inviting space offers an 80-capacity dining room with table, booth and bar seating, perfect for any special event.
