Food was good, served very quick, however I thought the tacos were a little bit oily. I ordered tacos and burritos, they taste good though. And service was very quick.

So happy to see they have tripas on the menu! And pleased to see they didn’t skimp on filling the tacos and they were darn yummy! Horchata was nice and creamy and a little on the sweet side but i didnt mind

The only legit Taqueria in Chino Hills. I usually keep it simple with the street tacos($ 1 Taco Thursdays), but occasionally I’ll get the fries or nachos. The portions are big and they load up the toppings. You can definitely share between 2, but I’m guilty of eating it all by myself in one sitting and hating myself afterwards. WORTHIT! My favorite meats here are the Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Birria. If you’ve never had Birria, do yourself a favor and try it. It’s spicy stewed beef, and the flavor is absolutely amazing. It’s a no-nonsense, authentic taco shop so don’t come in expecting 5-star service and you and your stomach will leave happy.

This place is a step up from Albertos. If your looking for authentic Mexican, I wouldn’t recommend it. No where in chino hills has that home cooked Mexican food taste we are all dying for. The great things about this place are 1. It’s very clean, 2. Friendly as soon as you walk in, 3. Salsa bar was stocked with fresh ingredients and it’s inexpensive. The reason I compare it to Albertos is because their carne sada is already cooked in a container and it tastes like fast food. This place is perfect at 2 am after you’ve had a great night and feel like quick Mexican food.

Came here during $ 1 taco Thurday for lunch and dinner(different week). Both times lines were backed past the drink dispensers, but no fear, it moves fast enough. The chicken and pork tacos were flavorful. Beef tacos were ok. Tacos include onions, cilantro and red or green salsa. Both salsa complimented the meats. We ordered the beef burrito & also al pastor nachos. Both are loaded with meat and definitely better to share. Nachos were greasy but what to expect! Our meals were filling & we all agreed we easily over ate, in other words, we liked our food and cleaned our plate… no leftovers. Seating is limited so if you don’t get a table, might be better to take out. Side note: there is no salsa bar, instead a container(near the register) with sliced radishes, lemon wedges & pickled carrot/jalapeños.

I’m so mixed on this place! Probably been a dozen times, and had a great meal at least a quarter of the time, a terrible meal a quarter of the time, and just okay the other half. Oh well, its close and its inexpensive. I have my go-to’s and I’ll just play it safe.

The service is terrible always!!! I only came here for the food until I got a side order of beans that were liquid it was like bean soup and they filled it to the top in a TOGO box??? So I spilt it alllllllll over myself and alllllll over my car beans everywhere and then just when I thought they couldn’t be worse I bit into a peice of meat!;; never coming back here ever again

Service sucks. If you’re unfortunate enough to receive service you will discover the food is mediocre. Horrible way to take orders. 1 star

3.5 Stars. My boyfriend and I went biking around the neighborhood this night and decided to look around for some dinner. It was 7pm and there was a lot of people aggregating around the restaurant so we decided to go. When you open the doors, you’re greeted with a giant mural on the wall and the grill encompassing half the restaurant. It’s a small little restaurant with maybe 5 – 6 tables(0.5 stars removed). We went on a Thursday so tacos were $ 1 each! We ordered 6 carne asada tacos and carne asada nachos and were able to steal a table as a party was leaving. The tacos were good, but not the greatest I’ve had(hence the 1 star removed). The nachos were good, but I felt like it needed more of the sides(salsa, sour cream, etc.). The amount of meat for everything was PLENTY though, much appreciated. The salsas were amazing! I loved how spicy it all was! There’s parking out front(hello suburbia!) and it’s right off the 71 so it’s really convenient. Definitely will come back!

I love the food here super tasty. I’ve had their asada fries, burritos, and tacos and have not been disappointed. They also give you chips and salsa! The guys that work here are friendly and help each other out when they don’t understand you instead of looking at you blankly because you can’t speak Spanish lol. As far as I could tell the place seems clean although a little small. Their taco Tuesday’s actually don’t exist, it’s on Thursdays here. Keep that in mind but make sure to visit! Yum.

My go to mexican spot. I always get the carne asada nachos and/or tacos depending on how hungry i am. There is plenty of parking out in front. Its a small place with about 6 tables inside. Most people i have seen take the food to go such as myself. This is chipotle style ordering where one of the many staff behind the counter initially takes your order. From there, you move down the line as your order is being made from adding beans, onions, salsa, etc. If you order a quesadilla or fries, that gets made on the spot on the grill/fryer behind the staff. The line might be long at times but with the fast service behind the counter, it moves fairly quickly. Once you get closer to the cashier, they offer up complimentary radish, carrots, and lemon where you can bag it up yourself. The many times i have been here, i have never had any issues with any of the customer service. The food is what always brings me back. Oh yea, on thursdays they have $ 1 tacos

Quick and tasty tacos for cheap! I tried the carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas and carne asada is my fave! The tacos are pretty small IMO, I gobbled down 4 by myself with room in my stomach to spare. There’s not many seats available especially for a big party. All the seats were taken when we arrived. Since the food came out quick and people ate quickly, we managed to get a table. The environment here feels like a quick bite or a grab and go. You line up to order, get your food, pay and find your own seat. There’s no servers so no one will be asking if you want any water or drinks when you sit down. This is the perfect place to go if you’re craving some satisfying Mexican food and are pressed for time!

I grew up in a city where there was a infamous corner taco stand in the heart of its downtown, so it’s safe to say I know a real street taco. And, Taquiera Mora sells just that… authentic street tacos! THEBESTINTOWN! My go-to are their lengua tacos. And, for those who don’t know lengua is beef tongue. I find lengua meat soft, tender and with minimal amount meat fat. Their corn tortillas are soft and end off garnishing the taco with onions and cilantro. Don’t forget your pickled carrots, salsa, radishes and lemon!

This place is amazing! We stopped by for a Sunday night dinner run and ordered 4 tacos, 1 bean and cheese burrito, and carnitas nachos. The tacos are street style and delicious! the bean and cheese burrito is more cheese than beans but the beans are made correctly and authentically, which is such a huge deal to me! The green salsa is bomb! They charged us for 4 tacos but we were only given three so that was a bummer but otherwise not a bad first try.

It’s about the authenticity and this place represents itself well. Obviously, we haven’t tried all the taco shops in the nearby vicinity, but we’re on the hunt for that gem of a place, plus it’s close to home. There are many other choices and some of the best ones are in Pomona, but when you don’t feel like driving it’s a good alternative. Prices match the quality of the tacos, and c’mon, besides the flavors and taste of the meat, the onions, cilantro and tortilla it doesn’t require a lot of culinary skills for a short order line cook! I do differentiate the salsas which is important and the mild(green) salsa has the right amount of spiciness and essence.

Taqueria Mora, located in the 4200 area of Chino Hills(okay it’s actually across the street from the 4200 plaza), has deals, tacos, and food that can make you nom nom nom! Came in on a Thursday because they have a $ 1 taco deal on those days. I walked in and was kinda confused(you might be too). You have to walk past the cashier to the end and that’s where you order. But there’s no one that will tell you that. There’s a sign that tells you that. But where does the line begin? There’s someone else there. The guy behind said something and I had no idea what he was saying. He was talking to me, but I was like what ._. Could you repeat that sir? And I think he was asking me what I wanted. Oh. Welps. Beef, tongue, and carnitas tacos please! I also got potato tacos as well. I didn’t know whether to just keep standing there until he handed me the food or to go to the cashier and pay. Turns out after you order and he gives the cashier the things you ordered, you pay there and then you get your items. Maybe it was just me cuz potato tacos are hard shell. You also get free chips so make sure you tell your cashier you want some salsa! If only I were fluent in Spanish. :’( The meat in each of the tacos was good– they had flavor and weren’t flavorless like the ones in Original Taco Factory in Tustin. They had salsa in each and a mild/hot sauce in each as well! Tongue was the best for me haha. I actually couldn’t tell which was which because they all looked the same for me. I just assumed which was which because of me just spending time figuring out which one tasted like which. Potato tacos was interesting. They added way too much sour cream in there. if they kept that in moderation, the potato taco would be muy excelente. I still really love the mashed potato taco from El Fogon in Riverside, but if I want a decent potato taco, Taqueria Mora has it made :3 for me at least. Located next to The Noodle in Chino Hills! PS. It’s December 2015 as I write this(duh) and it’s expected that The Noodle will open up in the next few months. I’m just gonna try and be ahead of the curve so people will know~ I love you potato taco. OH potato tacos are 2 for $ 3 for 4 for $ 5. I’ve heard things about their carne asada fries but their prices went up…

My friend takes me to his family events to eat carne asada, so I’m a self-proclaimed carne asada connoisseur. I ordered a carne asada burrito and I wasn’t very impressed. Main drawbacks: No cheese and the burrito was dry. The lack of cheese is my fault, but be aware of this. Without sour cream, cheese, guacamole, or anything moist, I had to wash down the burrito with my water cup. Not enough frijoles to combat this problem. The meat is good, but dry. Last time I went, I couldn’t find a salsa bar, so no pico de gallo for me. Maybe I’m just being sensitive. Overall, I thought this place had good prices, but the food was not my style. That being said, this place is a great place to try.

This was the first time trying this place out. I didn’t know they had 1 $ tacos on Thursdays and I was craving some so I decided to try them out. I normally do not go to Mexican restaurants around chino/chino hills because they are not up to standards. They taste too am Americanized and being that I grew up in LA I can taste he difference. However, I was quite surprise when I ate these tacos. I got 2 head, 1 carnitas and 1 carne asana. I like to try them all before judging. These tacos were amazing! They tasted so fresh, and had so much flavor and juice. I was also surprise by the amount of meat they put in my taco. Being that it was a special normally they give you less but no this place was not holding back. I over all loved the tacos and would def. come back again. This is probably the closest place to Mexican food I have tasted in chino hills. The place isn’t the biggest spot. I don’t think they anticipated as much traffic to their restaurant as it is getting, but you have to start somewhere. And I have confidence this place will be expanding soon.
