I love this place! Nancy is always so sweet and meticulous. She always takes her time on my nails. The royalty pedicure is awesome!

Since new management has taken over I have been very pleased with the quality of their work. Everyone is super friendly! Hailee (sp?) is very good at everything! I love her work! Highly recommend!

My family moves around a lot with the military and I have had to switch nail salons many times. Often, when we move, I go through a couple of salons before I find one that just sort of clicks. This salon is at the very top of my list of favorites. I have been able to just walk in, rarely ever a wait, and begin! I have worked with multiple Tech’s and they are all very good at what they do. Happiness Nails offers a consistently high caliber of professionalism, quality work, and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Came her with my sister and I was surprised with the décor. The store is under new management and they are doing great. Everyone was nice and very helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone.

The service was great! The ladies were really nice and friendly, and I love coming here. The prices are worth it! Would definitely recommend you to come here

One star because i have to do my review over and I was unhappy with the experience I received when I tried to go back after Amy left. I went in and tried to get my nails done Again by another nail tech who specifically said she was better than Amy, I went, walked in their shop with my kid, the lady asked me my name, I specifically told her my name, she said you were suppose to be here at 5:45, I told her I could not beat traffic, and it was only 6:10 when i walked in and during our conversation it turned to 6:15. She or whoever took another client and basically said to themselves «F» the girl that called she’s probably not coming. I drove there from Mira mar and amazed I made it within that time frame. Anyways the lady said wait 10 mins I waited 10 mins and then 20 then 30 then 40, clearly she wasn’t trying to do my nails. I had a friend on the way to get her nails done as well, I had to tell her to U turn because clearly they do not want to do any more nails. Then my experience gets deeper the manager sends me a Unilocal message and then Unilocal removed my last post. Lol worse experience ever, there’s 10 million nail places in San Diego I rather drive to find one that doesn’t lose their technicians, just being honest. Amy was able to do nails like the techs off of Pinterest or Instagram.

Under New & better ownership! As I walked in, I immediately noticed the new décor, they are also getting Brand New spa pedicure chairs. Im So in Love with my nails. Hilly did an AWSOME job! The staff is much friendlier and courteous about the clients comfort.

First time there and I absolutely loved it! Kevin did my gel mani and pedi and it was awesome! Definitely will be my go to place from now on.

Nancy is the business! Made the mistake of going to some nail shop in La Jolla and HATED IT! Paid more for crappy work… I’m so glad to come back to happiness nails. Definitely going to keep coming back

I never write reviews, this is actually my first one but I couldn’t resist! I am in love with My nails Thank you Amy!!!

So I went to check this place out because I was looking for a new nail salon and they had great reviews. I made an appointment for 5:30 on a Thursday. I got the European pedicure and a fill.
Pros: The lady that did my pedicure probably spent and hour doing it– she really took her time and it was 30 dollars well spent
Nancy– the lady who did my nails was amazing. I told her i wanted coffin shape nails and she shaped them herself. She was very attentive and just did an amazing job.
Cons: I waited almost an hour even after having an appointment to be seen– and they had to do my nails and pedicure separate bc they were so busy. I ended up being there for 3 hours.
The one thing I do have to say is despite the long wait Nancy stayed an hour after closing just to make sure my nails were finished. Normally if a place took this long I’d be pretty mad but to me it was worth it! Next time I will try coming early morning… but I will definitely be back =)

I’ve been searching for a place to get the pink and white ombré nails, that’s not only good, but has reasonable prices as well! Well this is your place and Nancy is your girl to get your nails hooked up! Thank you again Nancy, I’ll definitely be back!

Nancy is so sweet and did an amazing job on my coffin nails. I have already reffered friends and will totally be back again. I’m a local nail style blogger follow me at @619nails on Instagram.
Pros: The shape is perfect. I came in with a set from another salon, the shape at my other salon was starting to get thick and not all the nails were looking coffin and Nancy really cleaned it up I also had a pedicure at the same time and that was good too. Theres a discount on Unilocal and they do a Loyalty card $ 20 off every 10 visits.
Cons: Not many acrylic techs so get an appointment, It was kinda cold in there and the water from the pedicure is not separated like ive seen in other salons. I know some germaphobes which might not have been ok with that.

Great service sweet lady named Amy did my fill and I got an amazing foot massage from another older lady (with the 30.00 European Pedi). It’s not a bad place in my experience I will be back again. (:

I scheduled an appointment bc I read the reviews but after giving them two chances I am NEVER going back again.
My first time in I waited, literally, an hour and 15 – 20 minutes past my appointment before anyone even touched my nails. For the wait and for the quality, the price ($ 40) was way too high. I can go get $ 25 nails somewhere else and have a way better experience.
The second time, which was a couple days ago, they didn’t make me wait but the girl doing my nails had an attitude the entire time. She was pulling at my arm as if it wasn’t attached to my body, bending my fingers so she was comfortable even though she could see I was clearly in pain, she cut me and my finger was bleeding (I have the healing scab to prove it) and she didn’t even apologize just said I’ll be okay and not to move.
I’ll always give a place a second chance bc I understand that sometimes people have an off day, but this was ridiculous. I’ve now thrown away $ 80 on a place that was clearly a waste of time.

Review update–
This is my second time going here, and the only reason why I decided to go back to this place was because the owner Nancy had messaged me on Unilocal,apologizing for the previous visit and offering me a free fill in order to fix my nails. She offered to fix my nails herself or if I went on a day she wasn’t available she recommended that I went to Amy.
Amy had assisted me on the day I decided to give them a second try and she did great! I asked for a fill with gel and they’re perfect. She got me out of there within 35 minutes and was very apologetic about the previous time. The owner and Amy really changed my perspective about this place.
