History

Established in 2008.

After working in the event industry as catering consultant, event designer and also Director of Public Relations for two local magazines in San Diego, CA, Chef Flor Franco decided that it was time to open a fresh innovative catering company able to offer a contemporary flavor to the event table.

Living in Southern California for the last 20 years and working closely with many event companies Chef Franco had not only the experience and knowledge, but the style and passion for unique tasteful events.

Indulge Contemporary Catering has won the honor of catering some of the most memorable events like the 2009 Special Event Show for 1200 event professionals from all over the world, the 2008 and 2009 Japanese Friendship Garden Moon Festival, the 2010 San Diego History Makers honoring Qualcomm and the Jacobs family.

We are excited to offer catering services that range from affordable packages to exquisite high –end events. If you can dream it, We can make it!

Business Owner

Cooking has always been part of Flor’s family culture, with pride being the main ingredient. Flor grew up, surrounded by prime farmland. In the kitchen, Flor’s father provided her insight to the subtle secrets of great cuisine, insight that began with quality ingredients. Buying the freshest products at the local market was a daily routine, returning home with different fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood. Only the freshest ingredients determined the menu that day. Chef Flor Franco graduated with a double major in public relations and marketing. At age 27 she became the PR Director of a major US Custom Broker managing the largest group of Mexican growers, later on she became the PR director for two renowned event magazines and during the past 15 years she is been working in the catering industry. She is currently the owner of Indulge Catering Inc. and Artistica Event Design and Rentals, while preparing for her Pro-​Chef certification with the CIA.
