I had A tech come out and clean carpet in two bedrooms. My quote from Scott when I first made the appointment was $ 45 for the special they had going on. I received two calls the day of to confirm and was given an estimate of their arrival time. When The tech arrived I asked for an estimate just to make sure that the quote I received over the phone wasn’t much different from what I would be charged. I was told that both rooms had some high traffic areas that needed special attention with a stronger solution. That it was 80 cents a sq feet. My new total came out to $ 74.00 for both rooms. I would say it took about 45 minutes for the tech to complete both rooms. I was disappointed that he did not let the treatment sink in for a few minutes before he started to clean. The carpet looks a little cleaner, just slightly not much difference. The tech who came out was very polite, informative, professional. Probably would not use this service again due to the fact that the carpet didn’t get much cleaner.

I contacted Scott with Easy Clean last night for carpet cleaning today, two days before Christmas. I knew it was a long shot, but they managed to fit me in. Bobby came out to the house and did a full pretreatment on the carpets. I knew the prices were going to be a little higher than the deal I was offered because I had pet stains and stank that needed some serious attention.
The gentleman who cleaned my floors gave plenty of time for the treatment to soak in. This hasn’t always been the case in the past with other services. He was also very helpful and kind. I moved into each room after his cleaning and noticed the carpets looked brand new and they were nearly dry before he even left the house!
He’s still here cleaning, but my house looks and smells amazing!

I always have one to two cats at any time in my living situation, and I always give the fuzzballs indoor-​outdoor access-​privileges through a cat door or a small discreet window.
Suffice it to say, in most places I’ve lived, I’ve had issues with cats. But not MY cats, mind you, but visiting cats: sometimes neighbor cats my boys invite back home with them to share some of their kibble with. But MOST often Tom-​cats that want to *challenge* my boys for their domain. And this has created a stinky mess sometimes on my carpet. [But recently now I’ve employed some focused ultrasonic devices — think Star Trek phaser-​like — that easily repels the Toms, with only minor temporary impact on my boys, and once «phased», we never see those Toms again!]
THE SETUP
The crew of Easy Clean Carpet Care know their stuff and they are experts in the business of assessment the dirt, the grime, the stains, the mold, and the destruction levels of people’s carpets and upholstery.
When all parties treating each other with respect and honesty:
* This means a fantastic, thorough job of carpet-​cleaning can be efficiently done for a fair market-​price in this industry.
* However, I know even my own friends will try to «game» the process by NOT fully disclosing the level of dirt, crime, stains, CAT PEE, mold, BLOOD, etc. etc. that is impacting the carpet area.
* My friends (and sometimes myself) will at first try to «Fabreze» their way out of the *stink*, but when it comes to liquid & gelatinous-​substance removals, and all repairing out-​right damage, there’s only so much a container of Fabreze or a bottle of cleaner can do.
PRICING METRICS
When working with Easy Clean Carpet Care, they have a great bottom rate. Like many things, start the process online to enjoy the built-​in online discounts.
For me the price was for four (4) rooms and a hall.
* Using the online special, it began at $ 19.99 a room price bundled into a three (3) room minimum for just about $ 60.
* But there next special is 4 rooms, WITH the hall for $ 79.99 (basically the cost of 4 rooms with the hall thrown in).
* Now this $ 79.99 is for a *basic clean* which I clearly understood to be the foundation of the pricing. A great price for someone who only has had «gentle» or even possibly «moderate» usage of their carpets.
* But do we all have the same «wear & tear» on carpets? I don’t think so. An elderly lady who is quite clean & light in walking will not impact the carpets the same way as four (4) growing kids with two dogs and a cat, tracking every seasons’ dirt or slush through the home. And that’s MY read on why others are trying to be a bit more obstinate in not owning their more serious *dirt-​grime-​pee-​blood* issues, and can’t seem to fathom that «additional crap means additional work which means additional cost to the carpet-​technician».
* And it’s about «cleaning» — not somehow repairing the «visual-​image» so that the entire carpet appears miraculous all in the same color-​tone. Again, wear & tear in the higher traffic areas are never going to align their color exactly again with the carpet in the less traveled areas.
COST
So taking the foundation of $ 79.99, add in a (1) deep clean; and, (2 deodorization process for $ 140 flat fee, and any interior doormats for free: my fair cost. And as alluded above, it also helps others to understand that with each year of not cleaning nor having any carpet-​maintenance, there is bound to be a build-​up of stains and pet-​odors that will be more difficult (and expensive) to remove.
THE LOWDOWN
And let’s be honest. Is this a job YOU want to do? I as hell don’t want to do it! So I’m glad the good people of Easy Clean Carpet Care are there to get me out of my carpet-​cleaning pickles.

I got my carpet cleaned before moving, I was told it would be $ 99 for 5 rooms. After the technician finished I was charged $ 100 more then I was told. I feel like I was scammed.

Received a call day of appointment stating they were running behind but would be there asap, to clean my two area rugs. Upon arrival the guys were great, although I had anticipated them doing the rugs where they were, they explained they didn’t want mess up our hardwood floors so out to drive they went. All in all they were very professional and my area rugs turned out great. Definitely will recommend to neighbors.

Technician who came and did estimate was professional. pricing was off the hook. I mean over double a reasonable and competitve rate. I felt bad sending the tech home with a lost job.

Good service but I was disappointed that the magnet he left quoted half the price I paid.

Found these guys on facebook they are Very educational about capet and the stains gave me a great deal, politeness, cleanness, professional and business awesome. Recommended them!

Stains came back within two days.

Found these guys via a search on Google. Their price was good, they showed up on time (called first) and were in and out very quickly. I needed my carpets cleaned per my lease agreement. So, the landlord can charge an outragous cleaning fee to the next tenant! Anyway, I would use them again. They even added a fragrance at no extra charge and only charged me $ 2 per stair rather than $ 4. Can’t beat that with a stick!

I scheduled these folks a few days ahead of time after looking at their website. They gave me a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. At 09:30am the day of, i got a call from them asking it the technician was at my home. I replied «No». The guy on the phone said that he should already be at my house. As I was in the middle of a sentence, he just hung up! I waited a few minutes and no one called back. So, I called the office and inquired about the previous phone call and the same guy just handed the phone to a lady in the office who told me that the technician took it upon himself to go to another customer that was closer to him. I was assured that he would arrive within the window. 11:15am came and went so I went to run my errands. The technician calls me around 11:30 and says he is on his way. I told him that he was late and to go home. Again as I was in the middle of a sentence this guy hung up on me too. I called the office and was given some bullshit story. The lady offered to give me a discount, but I told her that I will call Stanley Steemer instead.

I am surprised at the less favorable ratings. I made an appt for a move in. They fit me in the very next morning, were on time, great service, Steve was very kind. The carpets look great! Very happy customer here. :)

Over two hours late just to clean just an area rug. The tech took the rug outside as he didn’t want to steam it on my hardwood floors, but he laid it under a tree that left leaves and pollen all over it. I had to bring it back inside still wet and vacuum it to get the outdoor debris off of it.
Plus, it was expensive — $ 64 for a 6×8 rug and the pet odor still isn’t completely gone. What a waste of my time and money to use this company. Wish I’d seen these reviews before I called them.

So, other than not being timely. .. stuff happens, I felt as though I was taken advantage of. The great prices they advertise isn’t what you end up paying and although they told me only one person from the company was certified to use the «specialized pet products,» that’s not the person that showed up. My particular technician seemed especially inept and my carpet still smells of pet – and it wasn’t that bad to begin with. I’d never use these guys again.

Had a great experience with Easy Clean, nothing like the other reviews below.
I needed a quick move-​out carpet clean for a place in Auburn. They were able to schedule me a few days out, and they gave me a deal even thought I wasn’t technically in the greater Sacramento area.
The schedule for the technician ended up being messy, so he showed up a little late but was still cleaning my carpets at 5pm in the dark. The technician was extremely nice and helpful, left everything where he said he would and the carpets looked great. Landlord was very happy!
I would definitely use this company again for a carpet clean. It really was an easy clean!

Horrible, and would rate 0 stars if possible. Didn’t even show for appt. Called and never heard back. Avoid, not worth their «deals.»

Easy Clean not only showed up over two hours late to clean the carpets on an Auburn condo last week, but they left them soaking wet. They said it would take 3 hours to dry… ummm…not even close! They were still damp the following day.
On a positive note, the bad experience I had with Easy Clean caused me to call another carpet cleaner for a Roseville condo I needed cleaned this week (we have a real estate and property management company). So I called another company who did a FANTASTIC job cleaning the carpets (see the last review I wrote) and I will be using them exclusively from now on.
If Easy Clean did a good job, they would have earned my repeat business. Hope they improve their scheduling and cleaning methods, as it looks like I’m not the only one unimpressed by their performance.

I want to say I have had my carpets cleaned by many people over the years and this company is by far the best I have had do my carpet and on top of that met all my needs above and beyond! Scott who did the job at my house was just great and even though the quote was high for what I needed done… he worked with me on what my budget was and did a great job… I will not be calling anyone else to do my carpets from here on out! These guys have my endorsment!

This is the worst carpet cleaning company EVER. I’m actually going to be contacting the BBB. Do yourself a favor and save some money to get the job done by Stanley Steamer. You’re not getting any kind of deal with this company.
At first, they seemed very nice and friendly on the phone. The woman in the office was quite pleasant and accommodating. I set my appointment for a certain day and ended up needing to reschedule, which wasn’t a problem. The service technician was supposed to be at my house between 9 and 11 am. Come 11:30 AM when no one was there and no one tried to call, I called the office to ask what was going on. The woman explained that the person who was supposed to be at my house was «having car trouble» so they were going to send someone else.
The person who was then supposed to come was very polite and apologetic on the phone. I didn’t blame him. Although, apparently the first guy’s truck was fixed and he was going to be coming after all.
WELL, come 1:30 and no one’s shown up, I called the office and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I left 2 voice mails and still nothing. The woman in the office was ignoring my calls. I called the replacement guy’s phone and asked him what was going on. I finally found out that the guy had driven by my house and decided he didn’t want to do the job because he was going to have to run a hose. Without so much as a phone call, I was left with no carpet cleaner. Luckily, I was able to find someone else to do the job, last minute. Wow, what an ordeal. DO NOT use this company.
