Great service from this store! Service alone is five stars. Every time that I’ve had to come here, service is fantastic! As for the shoes, I don’t buy shoes here unless it is for a certain occasion such as dance shoes for my kid, or dyeable shoes. Not happy with the David’s Bridal selection of dyeable shoes — too expensive and too uncomfortable — I thought I would try out Payless Shoes. They have a pretty impressive color selection to choose from in a catalog. Also there are shoes that you can order that are catalog-only and are not in the store. The first time(emphasis on ‘first’) I came in, I chose a shoe and a color that looked like a good match for my dress which was«apple». It came to about $ 45. Ouch. Shoes came in and they looked magenta. Not only that, but the dye looked spotty. So I ordered a catalog shoe and tried a different shade. Luckily you can return dyeables! Came in to see how it turned out. Now the shoe looks rusty colored. Argh! So I took them as a last ditch attempt in the event I don’t find another shoe that matches.(Macy’s did have a matching shoe, but it is made out of suede. It was also cheaper than Payless.) [Standing on soap box] Single ladies out there, if you are getting married, PLEASE let your bridesmaids find a shoe that looks great, does not have to be dyed and is comfortable.(Anna, don’t take this personally.) It is the best gift you can give to your bridal party! Long story short, this Payless has great customer service, but I wouldn’t go to them for dyeable shoes.
