Takken’s Shoes

I love shopping for shoes here, not just for me bt for my daughter. There price are good nd they always have sales on the shoes I like:)

After dealing with Takkens in the Sunrise Mall for years, I finally have to write a review.
This is a business that lives the meaning of customer service! I went back and forth 2 or 3 times trying to resolve a size issue, (which was my fault) and the manager did not hesitate to give me a new pair and have me walk out happy. In this day and age to give this kind of service is extraordinary, many cudos to Takkens!!!

Being the most fashionless (if that’s a word) person I know, but seeking footware to keep my feet warm in this cooler Sacramento weather, I went to Sunrise Mall to find a pair of boots (with the fur, no less).
After a fruitless trip to Macy’s, a pushy sales associate there directed me to Takken’s. Slightly disheartened, I entered Takken’s with not much of an idea what to expect having never been there before.
Mat greeted me at the door and asked what I was looking for. I described the kind of boot I wanted and he showed me some Uggs. Having never worn these kind of boots before, I was unsure how well the fitting was and what I should be aiming for. Mat was incredibly helpful in describing how to take care of my boots and took a lot of time discussing alternatives with me.
So I left the store, forty five minutes later, with great accomplishment on buying my first pair of Uggs. I love them and despite frequent usage, they still look brand new, thanks to the helpful information from Mat.
