I made the mistake of wandering into the Shoe Palace at Sunrise Mall. I hadn’t had a good pair of Nikis in a while so I asked to try on a pair of black size 9 cross trainers. The clerk brought me the left shoe. I put it on and said wow that’s great sell me the shoes. So, I paid out $ 87.00 bought the F’ing Nikis. Then I put on the right shoe and stood up. It felt horrible, like someone was jabbing a knife into my right insole… Long story short, they wouldn’t refund my money, they wouldn’t exchange them. I had to send tgem back tk Niki, who refuses to Refund any money, or give me a cash voucher It’s a shoe nightmare.

I’m really convinced that if you work at sunrise mall, you’re just always in a good mood. I came here today looking for a pair of free runs for my mom because she’s always taking my shoes. Alexis and Joey helped us out and I couldn’t help but look for myself. Oooh! Infrared air maxs? The one with running mesh? Alexis had my back and reminded me to buy kids size cause it’s cheaper. Good looking out girl, good looking out. The only reason why I’m giving a four star is because they’re very limited on new releases. If you’re looking for new release stuff, only Arden and Roseville seem to be the only malls that get shipment, not sunrise.

This whole company is a joke! 6 months ago I bought my husband a pair of shoes here that he didn’t like and they refused to give me anything but store credit when I returned them. From time to time I would pop in to see if there was anything in the store either of us would like and haven’t found anything, so the store credit sat in a drawer. Finally I found a pair of Nikes that I liked but they didn’t have the color I wanted at this location so I drove all the way out to the new store in the Galleria. When I get to the register, the guy tells me his computers are not online yet so he cannot accept store credit. This is especially confusing because the store credit has a barcode that you can scan as well, but apparently that is not possible. He says he can call Arden, awesome, totally want to drive all the way out there. Oh they are sold out. I tell him I will try the website and he says you cannot use store credit on the website either. So basically store credit is a scam and they stole my money! The pair of shoes I was trying to buy was twice the amount of my store credit and he offers me 20% off if I just want to buy them. WHAT A JOKE! This company is trash.

I bought a new pair of Jordans here. I thought they wouldn’t have the shoe, but I was stoked when they had my size. The manager rung me up. He was pretty nice except the part when he told me «that’s nasty» when I told him I wasn’t wearing any socks. I would’ve gave this store 5 stars, but slamming me for not wearing socks is u cool, lol

This is the only place in Sac I will buy shoes from. The staff is always friendly and I can always count on Shoe Palace to have the best deals. Peter is the name that jumps out most, he has been there a long time and he is always incredibly helpful!(:

Long story short the staff helped greatly with my needs in helping me get the exact shoe I wanted. They had great deals on nikes, Jordan’s. got my shoes for so cheap! I don’t remember his name but the manager on duty really made sure I had what I needed and made sure I left happy.

I went into the shoe palace on black friday and their sales sucked. I stupidly bought a pair of shoes for $ 99, which at the time I thought was a good deal until next day I went into a shoe store just a few door down and they had my same shoes plus I could get a secound pair half off. I went back the the shoe Palace to see if they would honor that sale and that was a big fat no, so ask to return the shoes and they said only for store credit. Worst store ever! I would suggest going in and trying on what you want take your time and use up all their help then once your dialed in go to another store or the internet. Do not buy there

The return policy with this company has something to be desired. I found they have an exchange only policy and would not budge in any way shape or form so I wrote to the headquarters and this is what I received in return. From Me: Hi There, I was going to have a pair of picked up for me at one of your stores and not sure if they would fit the way I need them to and the size was a ½ size larger than I think I need. As you know shoes vary in size and by the brand/makers. Anyway, I told the person on the phone that I would try them and if they didn’t fit I would return them. He told me they do not return shoes for a refund but would only do a store credit. I’m really confused as to why this policy would be in place. As a company the sale was just lost and the profits decreased. The shoe may have fit but I won’t find out. I’ve never shopped with your company so this comes as a surprise to me. Is this a true policy that you stand by? Thanks Response: That has been policy at Shoe Palace Stores since the beginning. We do apologize for any inconvenience. Have a great day. I will not recommend to friends and will not shop in any of their locations.

Bad customer service, felt like I was buying shoes out of the back of someones van in a dark ally. Do not bring your children, very unprofessional. They are nice until they know you like a pair of shoes then you are waiting forever for help just to pay. Not worth the trouble when you can purchase the same pair in any other store… any other store is willing to return the purchase no problems. The shirt they sold me was dirty and looked worn.

AVOIDATALLCOSTS. This is, without a doubt, the slimiest business organization I’ve ever encountered. Consider yourselves warned. After picking out 3 styles I liked, and finding out they didn’t have my size(11) in any of them, I tried on a different shoe as a compromise. Because I wasn’t sure about the pair, I mentioned to the employee helping me that I would go home and try them with some of my clothes to see if they looked good, and then decide if I wanted to keep them or not. He agreed that was a good idea. I bought them, decided I didn’t like them, and took them back the very next day to return them. At that point, the manager says«we have a strict no return policy». I ask«why was this not mentioned to me when I bought these?! Why did the employee agree with the idea of trying them out?!» He says«we have the policy written right here on the counter» and points. I respond«that is where you placed my shoes when I bought them, how was I ever supposed to see that policy or know it when you covered up the sign and never mentioned no returns to me?» He says there is nothing he can do. I respond by saying that it’s terrible business practice, and he WALKSAWAY while I’m talking to him. He doesn’t offer to help me. He doesn’t offer any solution. He doesn’t even offer to maybe help me find another pair of shoes. He just walked away. I will never shop at this store again. There are plenty of decent businesses out there that have been selling shoes a long time and treat their customers well. Don’t waste your time with this awful place.
