History

Established in 1995.

Precision was established in 1995 with one location in southeast Portland. We have grown to two location, (Clackamas and Tigard), and have recently moved into our new, larger Clackamas headquarters that has a very comfortable customer waiting and viewing area, with coffee bar.

I highly recommend doing business with Precision. The ladies I spoke with over the phone were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. The guys came right out to greet me after I took two steps in the door and immediately were on the job. My rear view mirror had fallen off weeks ago. I bought 3 different aftermarket kits that failed to keep the thing on for more than a few days. After searching through countless youtube videos showing how to follow the instructions of one of the aftermarket kits (which anyone can do, it’s the quality of the glue that’s the real culprit) I found a post advising to go to a professional auto glass shop. I’m glad I followed that advice and I lucked out when I chose Precision. The professionals at Precision had me out of there in minutes. Excellent job and exceptional customer service. Thank You!

Buddy of mine recommended these guys. I needed a window replaced after a break-​in…
I called another place and they quoted $ 335 and I would have to wait two days.
Precision Auto Glass came out that
day and charged $ 190. The repair guy was friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up the broken glass.

Here’s my final review. The owner got in touch with me and reimbursed me to get my gasket fixed. That’s great customer service. Due to the fact that the stand by their work and still offer great pricing in the area. I would not hesitate to give precision auto glass another shot, but i will be sure to ask about which gasket that they will be installing.

I woke up to a broken car window. So I called around to find a replacement. Courtesy Ford wanted $ 192 for JUST the glass. I told them that was way more than what other people had quoted. Guy on the phone said well that’s «Carlite» glass and the others will be thinner and not as good.
I made another call, this one to Precision Glass. $ 78. I went to pick it up… and… it was «Carlite» glass!!! It was in stock and they let me pick it up directly from the warehouse to save time as I was in a hurry.
Moral of the story … the window obviously costs both Courtesy Ford and Precision somewhere around $ 50. Precision applied an appropriate markup and sold it to me for a reasonable price. I’ll go back for my future needs.
I did the repair myself as I am the frugal handy type.

High quality and reliable work! I went to Precision to replace the windshield on my race car. They were very accommodating in working with me since I had a tight schedule, plus the fact that they come to you was very convenient! The windshield was professionally done and looks great!
Precision will always be my first choice for any glass needs. Highly recommended!

Very impressed! It is awesome that they will come to you wherever you are. I had a shattered window in my car fixed while I was at work and it only took 30 mins. He even cleaned up all of the class and fixed a broken piece of plastic. Everyone I dealt with was so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Precision!

I recently had Precision Auto Glass repair a rock chip for me at their Tigard location. The tech was professional, helpful, and willing to let me watch and ask questions during the process. Precision’s staff was also willing to help me by answering some questions and providing me with info on glass removal for a project car I am working on.

My mother in law was visiting from out of town, she got a rock chip that turned into a crack on her windshield. We put in a request ON Thanksgiving and we were scheduled by 10am the next morning. We went to the Tigard location and they were fast, really friendly and did a great job with the repair. It was great that we didn’t have to spend the whole weekend dealing with this. I would highly recommend them!

This is for their shop off of SW 72nd in Tigard. It’s appointment-​only, but I was able to use their website on a Sunday night to submit my request and phone #, and got a call back on Monday morning. I was in the shop by 2:00 that afternoon.
The windshield replacement was very professionally done, was cheaper than I thought it would be, and took less time than I thought it would. Hopefully my windshield doesn’t get cracked again, but if it does I know where I’m going.

We tried to ignore the hole in our huge picture window for as long as possible (thanks to some kid shooting a BB through the outer pane) but when it started developing a huge crack, we figured we had better replace it before the whole thing fell down. I called all over town, and Precision was the only place that treated me like a real person, not some dumb girl who didn’t know anything about windows. Their quote was in line with everyone else, and they had someone out the next day to measure our window. Since it was over a holiday weekend, it took about a week to get the glass. However, once it was in, Eric came out and installed our shiny new window the same day. Great, professional service and super nice people. I would definitely do business with them again! Although hopefully it won’t be because the neighborhood kids have gone on another BB rampage!

Do not take your car here, or have these guys put a windshield in your car.
I took my car there to their shop near I-​205, and NE Foster Rd. They sloppily installed my windshield, got black urethane window glue on my interior cloth, and scratched my roof up.
When I confronted the installer (unfortunately claimed owner) He got belligerent, threatened to take my windshield out, and cussed at me, and my girlfriend. Hes short, with red hair, and hes a real chode.
Bottom line is they dont care about your car, or you as a customer. Definatelly will not be returning, or having them come near my car again. Watch out! I already submitted a complaint to BBB.
