Ocean Landings Resort And Racquet Club Reservations

The Ocean view rooms in building C and D have absolutely gorgeous views. The rooms are pretty well decorated and updated. The rest of the resort could use a complete makeover. The staff is very nice and helpful. The laundry facilities could use a makeover as well and the pools are just OK. They are very clean and nothing wrong with them but are in the middle of the parking lot. Now I gave a 3 star based on all resorts that I have stayed at (comparing to Marriott and Hilton’s). But for a beach town Ocean Landings is o.k.

Where do I even begin? There’s really not much to say about this place, unless you like hotels that smell like urine. It was so bad that I went and stayed at another hotel for the rest of my stay. I didn’t even care about losing the money. I just wanted out of this horrid place. Don’t go here. Save your money. Trust me.

This review is for a wedding and reception held at their venue.
After 1 year of planning, we had our wedding at Ocean Landings Resort on April 9, 2016. Christine was our contact and throughout the entire year she was always available to answer any questions and provide guidance. A lot of our guests stayed the night/​weekend and all were happy with their accommodations with the exception of those that booked later (Be sure to have your guests book very early!) and they gave a significant discount to our wedding guests in addition to one night in an free ocean view for the bride and groom. We used the portable bar from Gregory’s and they did a fantastic job of bar tending the event. The room can hold 100 people and they set the tables up for you, you can rent the table cloths and chair covers also. You can bring in your own food (big money saver!) but warming it can be a challenge as they only have a prep kitchen with no ovens (our sternos wouldn’t stay lit). The beach ceremony was beautiful and Christine not only set up the chairs we rented, but went above and beyond with decorative touches that accented the ones we did. If I had it all to do over again, I would definitely do it there!

This place should be called Ocean Landings Dump. Do not stay here. It was a terrible experience. The rooms are not up to date and smell like mildew. It is under renovation but should be closed down until it is fully completed. The ocean/​beach and pools were the nicest aspect of the place. If you have to choose the C and D buildings are tolerable and clean. A and B are completely unacceptable to stay in.

This «resort» is fine. Not what you would call a resort nowadays but I’m sure back in its day! ;) was still comfortable, safe, inexpensive and clean! Perfect for our one night stay passing through. walk out back to the beach and if you have time get a massage!!! We had massages by Michael and Jess and it was fantastic! Passed our expectations for sure! Great massages and affordable! Thanks!

The timeshares are a dream the «resort» a NIGHTMARE staff is incredibly rude. When I asked as to a double charge they made to my card they seemed down right angry I was bothering them. After refusing to fix the double charge they said I could cancel the 2 day reservation I had and leave but they would charge me to cancel!? I had to call the bank to cancel one of the charges. The rooms are outdated have no toiletries and the beds are very uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit leaked water in the room when on so the room smelled moldy and wet. Overall it felt like a cheap pay by the hour motel I well never come back. The only and I mean ONLY redeeming qualities of this place is how close it is to the beach and the pool. But they even ruin the pool experience since you have to wear a pool band to be allowed entry. Also make sure no one takes a towel or loses the pool bands or they charge you 70 bucks. When you walk around the «facilities» the majority of the people you see walking around or sitting on the porch look homless or like drug addicts its actually very scary and i didnt let my kids out of my sight for a second. The cleaning staff is also incredibly loud and you hear them arguing all the time so bring ear plugs. Better yet just sleep on the beach with the bums your experience will be much better

After spending a lovely week at the motel, I found it a great place to drop and rest for the evening. The room was standard and clean. The bathroom was standard and clean. The «kitchenette» was an add-​on that needs to be rethunk. The refrigerator and microwave at one end of the counter and a lavatory sink at the other in about a 4×4 area. No place for dishes, flatware or anything you might want as an amenity. No hair dryer, no iron or board, and a great place to hang suits and dresses. It was good enough, needs some up dating and a tad more maintenance. It was too cold to swim and to windy for the beach. Definitely have to go in September next time.

Horrible PLACE doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Roaches in the room. They promised us an ocean front room and we have a view of the parking lot. Tried to get a little later check out and they would not give it to us. The manager Ian is very rude and disrespectful. We will never stay here again and will call and make a compliant to interval world that they take this hotel off their list of places. We have stayed in amazing hotels all over the US and have never experienced anything like this
This place is a complete DUMP. Roaches, small kitchen and a horrible manager.

Roaches seems to be a problem. Had to upgrade my room and spend an extra 300 $ just to be happy since construction in a room next door kept me up. First time I was unhappy with my stay in a hotel. Walked into my suite of a roach infested counter. Never had such issues like that anywhere else.

I’ve been staying here for 20 years. The beach access is wonderful, and the rooms are very comfortable. Lots of good memories.

Worst hotel out here. Our room was a «suite». Bathroom smelled like someone dropped a load in toilet the entire time, several roaches were spotted, even coffee pot was filled with roach droppings, they have raccoons with zero fear that come at you at night, porch light didn’t work, beds are god awful. This place should be shut down. Highly recommend avoiding this place! Oh and the cleaning staff had a loud meeting outside my window to wake me up in morning. And I mean loud!

This place is a little gem. The resort has 4 tennis courts (our favorite) and even racquetball courts (haven’t played that since college-​what a blast). We stayed in the ocean view units and had HUGE rooms and everything was recently updated. There are two pools, one is always quiet with adults swimming and reading and the other has more mix of kids and adults and there is a snack bar here. The lobby and work-​out area are fantastic and just recently renovated. We have gone three years in a row. Everyone is friendly.

Just returned from a week at Ocean Landing and had a fantastic time. I loved the facility and we had not one complaint or issue. Our unit was a 2 bedroom overlooking the ocean, on the 3^rd floor. The view was spectacular and the unit itself was very spacious, modern and clean. The pools were both large and heated, we had a hard time getting out as it was so lovely. Jacuzzi is large and heated to 104 degrees, and never packed or croweded.

This is an excellent little gym for renters and owners of Ocean Landings timeshares. Several very nice pieces of exercise equipment and a complete weight-​lifting system.

Hubby’s family had owned here for 30+ years… we had our first date here and have brought our kids here every year… Love OL. The rooms are always clean and recently have been updated. The beach at OL is the best around… no cocina rocks and a gentle slope in.

Been coming here for years and Ocean Landings has only gotten better. Rooms recently updated, as well as lobby, check in, and work out facility. Racquetball is so cheap here! Beach beautiful. Great views from the back two towers. Two pools, both good. Front one is quiet and great for adults. The concession bar at the other pool has an AMAZING burger you have to try!
A little bit of Space Coast history here– O L was built on the site of an old motel that the astronauts ’ families used to stay in during the first lunar missions. Kinda cool!
My family and I are from Orlando and we love this place so much we never trade our weeks in anywhere else.

I had the misfortune of staying here for a couple of weeks because of work. Initially, I arrived a day earlier than what my reservations were made for and decided to go with the one bedroom oceanfront building. Upon arrival early in the morning, the gentleman behind the front desk seemed irritated that I bothered him from playing with his cellphone and with each question that was presented to him, he seemed even more bothered. When I got to the building and to the elevator, it seemed as though I entered into a «ghetto project elevator» as it seemed grungy and disgusting. At that point, I had a premeditated thought that this resort is neglectful of its facility though I still kept hope for the units being decent. When I got to the room, which was in the the D building, 5^th Floor though I forgot the unit number, I was abhorred and literally about to burst into tears because of how filthy it was. The refrigerator was rusted on the entire side, the floor was scummed with dirt and God knows what else. From the time my feet had stepped into the unit, I could see that the walls were moldy and soiled and peeling off and the floors were dirt-​ridden even the edges of the cabinets from the floor. The couch appeared as if there were blood stains on it. The bed was horribly uncomfortable to the tush even if you sat down for 2 minutes. Both bathrooms were also engrossed with mildew and the toilets weren’t even cleaned. I was even afraid to sit anywhere else in fear that I might contract some serious bacterial disease. After checking out the unit for about 5 minutes, I happened to have caught a glimpse of a mouse that ran and hid behind the stove. I immediately called the front desk and they assigned us to a new room in the C building. That particular unit on the second floor and a bit updated. The carpet looked as though they were decorating the room for a pimp because of the shaggy, «moppy-​like» texture. The furniture and appliances weren’t updated and the bed was horrible uncomfortable. There was no rusting apparent however there was still some dirt.
When that horror was over, it was time to move on to my intended reservation. Initially when I made these reservations, I thought that this property was strictly timeshare related and not open to the general public. I did not know that the efficiency room I got was a «hotel» room. If I had known that prior to making the reservation, I would have gone to a Best Western or Super 8 because I’m sure those establishments don’t neglect their facilities and treat their guests as if they value their business. But I digress, when I was moved into the «hotel» side I noticed that a lot of people sitting on their patios looked as though they were either homeless, highly intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances and I’m saying this with all honesty. The refrigerator and microwave in the unit was also rusted and as much as I hated to use the ridge, I still wanted my beverages to be chilled. The bathroom was decent compared to the previous ones in the ocean front units but I would still not put my bare behind on the toilet seat.
So, a night goes by and I wake up with a bunch of bites on my wrists, forearm, legs and ankles, which only seemed to have gotten worse throughout the course of the day. Management and the head of housekeeping (who was condescending even after I left the room and tried to engage in conversation later on) came into inspect and hatefully told us that they’ve never had any cases of bedbugs, she looked at us as if this was the first time in hotel history that anyone ever made a bug complaint and then proceeded to look at us as if we were blatantly telling a lie. They inspected the bed in which I slept and said that the black specks on the bed were lint. I believe they actually blamed us for bringing in bugs of our own from the outside and also said it could have been sand fleas although I did not go on the beach at all! After they left, I took a closer inspection to the «lint» and found actual bugs. I took some samples and wrapped it up in tissue and gave it to Valerie and she looked somewhat bewildered and told me they’d look into it. They again moved us to another unit but we had asked to look at them first before actually moving. This time, we decided to upgrade to a one bedroom non oceanfront unit for a discounted rate per night. Ideally, I would have loved to have left this property and never look back but because I made my reservations with a timeshare exchange company, that was not possible due to their refund restrictions. Later on that day, we went to the ER on Merritt Island where my wrist examined by the ER attending physician on call and was told that the spots on my wrist, thighs and knees were in fact bug bites. I even have documentation from the hospital to prove this! Even management was unapologetic about the issue. Not quite the hospitality you’d expect on a «professional» level. They were no helpful or sympathetic.

I always have gone here at a timeshare ever since I was little :) Love this place and reccently renovated rooms. The pool with the bar is very very busy! The other pool without a bar is less crowded :) Ocean landings is a great resort giving great service, beautiful rooms, and many ammendeties. Hope you have fun and have a great time at a place that I would consider a second home.
