Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront

I wouldn’t stay here again. We arrived an hour earlier than check in, which is something I often do with not problem at other hotels. They said our room wasn’t ready but one with a view would be ready in 30 minutes and they’d give us a call. No problem, I thought. We just went out to the Tiki bar, had some drinks and waited for them to call. Nothing. When we went back in to ask about it at regular check in time, it’s like they had totally forgotten about it. And we were talking to the exact same woman who had checked us in. Totally clueless. The room with a «view» that we waited for was a view of the rooftop. I’ve seriously never had a worse view at a hotel.
The room itself was nice but the finishings in the bathroom are pretty subpar and seemed that of a lesser quality hotel. And the hotel food is pretty bland.
On the plus slide, the service is quite good at both the restaurant bar and Tiki bar. Still, not good enough to make up for the rest of the experience

I was actually really disappointed during my stay. It’s only 3 stars because of the room view and customer service, everything else was subpar in my opinion. The room amenities were nothing short of a hotel room that consists of a road side comfort inn, in my opinion– actually I have experienced a better stay at a comfort inn for 60% less of the price with nicer finishes in the room. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, the pillows were small and uncomfortable as well, the room looked nothing more than just a standard room you would get next door at the double tree for half the cost, tv was small and didn’t function well, bathroom for the price was small, couldn’t even fit two people in there, they offered zephyrhills bottled water in the room for $ 3.50– it cost less than a dollar at the store, for a hotel that cost me $ 250 for a night, you would think they could offer better water (if you aren’t local, you would not know zephyrhills isn’t the best of water) you would assume they would offer Evian or something fancy. This is my first time in a Hilton, I was expecting a fancier room with nice finishes and room with a mini bar and expensive water and what I got was paying for a hotel room because of the name. I paid for a Target experience and got Wal-​Mart value.

This is a Hilton??? Lobby is the only proof of this so enjoy walking thru the modern timezone before you get lost in the past. as for our room, the AC is loud enough to make you think it’s working but don’t be fooled. It not possible to take a shower without taking a bath at the same time because the tub doesn’t drain. Beds are uncomfortable… mushy pillows. Would not stay here again even though we were excited it was a beachfront Hilton and with what we paid for a room we did not expect to be this disappointed.

I have never been to a hotel with such an extremes.
We came here to check out the property while the daughter was at Space Camp at the Kennedy Space Center. We were already staying at the Hampton Inn in Titusville. But, after staying two nights in Titusville, we wanted to see other areas of Florida. We had no intentions of staying there, not without reservations.
We arrived in the morning after dropping the daughter off to inquire about vacancy and requested to see a room. They were happy to show us a room. After looking at a room, my wife and I were in the lobby contemplating whether we should move here or not. As we were discussing it, the front desk manager, Dee, came up to us and asked us if there was anything we needed. After some negotiating, she gave us a rate that we could not refuse.
The Hilton is located on the beach along Atlantic Avenue on Cocoa Beach. As you turn into to the parking lot, you see lots of parking spaces and a tall building. It isn’t until you walk inside that you see the hotel itself. The lobby is nice and modern. They had iPads and computers in the lobby for their guests to use. A nice tiki bar is located outside near the pool.
The room was nice and big. Our room had 2 double beds, a workstation for the computer, and a sofa. The bathroom was adequate. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were from Peter Thomas Roth. The room had a great view of the beach. Everything about this hotel seemed nicer than the one we were staying in. Then we decided to leave the hotel room for the day.
When we got back in the late afternoon to our room, we came back to a unmade room. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room. They finally cleaned it after we complained. They didn’t just forget to clean it once, but, they forgot to clean it two days in a row. My wife was livid both days because of their failure to clean our room. We have stayed in bigger hotels than the Cocoa Beach Hilton, and never come back to a room that was not made. What could have easily been a four or five star review for this hotel turned into a 2 star review because of the failure of housekeeping.
The Hilton had the potential of being a good Cocoa Beach hotel. It was great that Dee, the front desk manager, greeted us and convinced us to stay. The hotel and setting were very nice. We had almost everything that we needed. If only housekeeping did their job.

My family and I had a great stay at the Hilton. Rooms are clean and smoke free with an ocean view. We loved the breakfast buffet, pool and splash pad. Great hotel for kids.

Loved this hotel! The room was large, comfortable and clean. Our room had an amazing view of the beach. The outdoor bar and fire pits are very relaxing. The complimentary beach towels were more like a bath towel, however you could take as many as needed. The pool is on the smaller side, but most people are on the beach anyways. They have a buffet breakfast in the salt lounge with many options including an omelet station. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating.

It’s the little things that bring this Hilton down (I.e.- incredibly small pool, no BEACH towels, and varying beverage prices at the bar depending on which bartender you get).
Rooms are fine.
Interior lobby and restaurant is fine.
Just a little subpar overall. Compare this Hilton to other major Hilton Hotels and it’s glaringly obvious that they try less here.

This Hilton is ok. Nothing really special of note. We stayed here 2 days this past weekend while we were in town for pre martial pre cana. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Before we arrived we requested on the app for extra pillows which never came. We also couldn’t get the shower to switch to water only coming out of the tub it was almost as if it was sealed to be shower only. Strange. There didn’t seem to be a lot of amenities like water in the lobby etc and it seemed very crowded whenever we walked through. Lots of families who probably take trips to Disney and then come for a beach day or 2. Parking lot was very full and all 3 times we Parked we had to park very far away.

We stayed here for Labor Day weekend and were totally happy. The Hilton reservations had messed up our reservation and instead of helping out, the main number was totally unhelpful and said there was nothing they could do. When I called the front desk, though, they asked if they could call me back and had the whole thing fixed in about 10 minutes! So much better to call the front desk than the main reservations number!
The hotel looks like it has been recently renovated. It is clean and updated, with a computer center in the lobby full of Macs. The buffet breakfast had everything, including an omelet station and Belgian waffle station. There is also a Starbucks kiosk in the lobby. The beach is steps away, and there are people there to help set up towels and chairs if you want. There is a huge and fun tiki bar/​restaurant with good food and service, and a fun band. The band encourages kids to come play with them! Overall a great experience.

The coco beach hilton is a very nice hotel to stay at in coco beach ! They have an updated Lobby and rooms ! The tiki bar is a great place to hang out at. The staff is friendly and very accommodating ! Nice beach out the back of the hotel ! One of my favorites ! We have become regulars here !

Overall one of the best hotels on cocoa beach. The lobby area is very nice with modern décor. All though the hotel is obviously older they have done a nice job keeping the room up to date and clean. I was extremely impressed with the comfort of the bed.
Hotel is right on the beach and has a great tiki bar with many cocktail specialties. The food was pretty average but really didn’t expect much from a pool/​beach bar.
Will definitely stay here when back in this area… have stayed at a couple other hotels in the area in the past, and this place was much nicer overall.

I became less impressed the longer I stayed here. First, it looks very nice, and it is kept clean. I would also say that the staff is rather friendly, especially the restaurant staff.
I’m a diamond member and I have grown accustomed to being treated well by the Hilton hotel chains. When I arrived I was not upgraded to a nicer room due to occupancy. Not a big deal. But I then tired sweet-​talking the manager into two extra free breakfasts since I was traveling with four total (they gave me two). I received a resounding no. It became apparent they were trying to nickel and dime me the whole stay. The straw for me was when they charged me $ 6 a day for SELF parking. I asked lady at the desk if they always charge diamond members for self parking, and I got a quick answer of yes, very unapologetically.
The Hilton on Daytona Beach treats their diamond members much, much better. Same with the Hilton at downtown Disney. I won’t return to this one. Hilton set the standard on how they treat diamond members, not me. This particular hotel gave me the impression they didn’t give a crap about my status. Noted. But I won’t allow this experience to jade my view toward Hiltons in general.

Great hotel. Excellent service. The manager Debbie and front desk employee Tori made our stay extra special. Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I’m 9 months pregnant and slept great. Which is rare at this time lol. Can’t wait to visit again. Just an overall awesome atmosphere.

As with any hotel it really just depends on what is important to you. Overall the Hilton is a very lovely hotel but there are some things to be aware of if you’re planning a stay:
Pros: the rooms are very nice and clean, the food and drinks are really good (expensive) and the proximity to the beach is nice. You can also rent chairs and an umbrella for the day which is handy. Towel usage for the beach and pool area is available at no cost. You are also close to some really good restaurants.
Cons: we were not aware of this but the ocean is «under construction» near Port Canaveral which a) results in the beach having a lot of sea grass at the shore’s edge and b) has caused the water to be murky looking and a slight brownish color and c) some locals believe the digging in the ocean floor is part of the reason there have been more shark encounters lately. Apparently they need a deeper wider channel for the bigger cruise ships to get thru.
Our first night our bathroom floor flooded due to a problem with the air conditioning. We got moved to another room but the view was terrible. Be aware the room names are misleading. Oceanfront can mean you see 5% ocean and 95%
rooftop crap. We had to wait 20 minutes in soppy sandy swimsuits for someone to come address the flooding problem. I will say they did give us a $ 50 voucher and 2 drink coupons to try and ameliorate the problem.
The deck is nice but if you want to sit quietly and listen to the ocean forget it. They have music playing 24 – 7 and it can be quite loud. It had more a sports bar feel to it.
The front desk clerks need to be better trained. On several occasions we asked for information and were met with «no» or «I don’t know.» They didn’t even try to fix the problem or help you get answers. Going to the manager was helpful and she was responsive.
The pool is SMALL and in an enclosure that is obviously designed for kids. Good if you have kids, not so good if you don’t.
Overall it’s a nice hotel but probably wouldn’t stay there again. Too many others in the area to choose from.

Right on the beach! Totally remodeled, and clean. Nice tiki bar with great drinks and food. Entertainment sometimes in the evenings on the patio deck. Surfboard rentals for $ 10! Had a blast. Great for getting away.
If you wanna be cheap, bring your own chairs and umbrellas with a cooler. Otherwise, it’s a Hotel with hotel prices!

It’s a nice hotel, and it’s located right on the beach. The beds are comfy and the room was clean-​all the basic things you expect when you pay over $ 250 a night. However, for what we paid, it wasn’t, like, over the moon or anything. The drinks at the bar were very weak and very expensive-​around fifteen bucks a pop. I expect this in New York City or Miami, not cocoa beach. The breakfast was not included, so it was about $ 35 for the two of us for the buffet. It was all right.
The pool was smallish and full of little kids. Kids are awesome-​but when you have ten of them in a pool for hours, you know SOMEBODY had to go :) The beach was beautiful, of course, and we spent a good amount of time there.
The entertainment at the bar went on pretty much all afternoon and evening. We could hear it from our rooms. They also allowed smoking in their outdoor bar/​patio area, which is either a great thing for you or a terrible thing. I’m a non smoker, so I found it really annoying when the guy beside me lit up and then reached over to put out his cigarette in the ashtray that was on my table. Classy.
Thank goodness they didn’t charge for parking-​that would have been the icing on the cake! I feel that it’s a nice hotel, but everything was really overpriced and I am not convinced it was worth it. We will skip this one next time.

Nice hotel, great location. The rooms are big with comfortable beds, and though full, we had quiet nights.
I paid for a city view room, as we planned on being out most days. I was pleasantly surprised by my view of next door Lori Wilson park, and a nice slice of beach. The window looking out on this view was a good 15 feet wide – really spectacular.
Cons-​the restaurant serving breakfast is WAY too expensive. As a Hilton Honors member I was given 2 free bottles of water when we first got to the room. But this was never repeated, so I guess status has limitations.
The «cool beans» coffee stand in the lobby is understaffed in the morning. (As in one staff member) There were always several people in line in front of me ordering multiple fancy drinks and bakery items while I went into a virtual death spiral without my simple espresso. Two people would be an improvement.
The beach is nice, as is beach access. The pool is miniature for a hotel this size.

This was a super disappointing stay, I’m sad to stay. I stayed on the Honors floor because that’s status for you.
In general my feedback was: Really loud and never again. Everything was just too much: the fridge clicking on woke us up nightly, the people on the hall slamming doors/​doors closed loud and fast, the AC unit competed with the fridge. A bottle of wine from room service took 40 min to arrive.
The bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t consistent/didn’t always work.
The elevators broke twice in a 3 day stay.
I didnt use it, but the pool felt small for such a big hotel.
Would have given it 2 stars but the staff was so friendly and the location is great. And the outdoor war was nice. Next time I’ll go back to the Cocoa Beach spot down the road.

This is an okay hotel. Located right on the coast, the beach is a short stroll down a long narrow wooden walkway.
Entering the property off the street, you’ll drive through a huge lot that you’ll be parking in later on, once you check in and all. Special note on this parking lot, the spots closest to the hotel are always full so you’ll more than likely be hiking from the spot you find. Not so bad unless it’s hot and your dragging luggage and stuff. This is Florida so hot and humid are the words of the day. You’ll be thanking the AC gods when you finally get inside.
They have a sharp looking lobby and first floor layout (first impressions and all). The oceanfront large patio deck is a nice touch. Relax with a drink at the bar or sit back on the comfortable cushioned chairs around a firepit.
Enjoy the pool if you don’t care for the ocean. There’s a little fitness center with free weights and cardio equip but op for a jog on the beach.
The rooms are modest and comfortable.
