We bought a motor home from Clear Choice Motors through Ebay. Before we flew from Tenn. to Calf. we had the RV inspected. Jim was great and went above and beyond to help us. His report showed the RV was not road ready and wouldn’t be for weeks, it had no holding tanks, missing plumbing, no generator, no propane tanks, kitchen counter was broken. No one at Clear Choice told us about any of the problems and we had made plenty of phone calls to them. Jim kept us from making a $ 30,000.00 mistake. Thank you Jim

I am one difficult customer to please, and James («Jim») got it done. I have an eye for detail and imperfections that only someone like James can match. Even though my wife and I were in the process of purchasing a brand-​new motorhome, I wanted to have another pair of eyes look over and test everything. There are hundreds and hundreds of items to check on a motorhome, and James knows them all, and how to test them. I recommend James if you are purchasing new, because before you take your rig off the lot is the best time for you to point out items in need of replacement, repair, or adjustment to the dealer. You are buying a new RV, and you expect everything to be in perfect working order, but you cannot assume it to be.
If you are buying used, you MUST use an inspector. You’d be crazy not to just to save a few hundred bucks which you’ll probably spend on the first repair.
Jim gave us a checklist of every item he inspected, which was exhaustive. He is a competent professional with a keen eye for detail and a method of operating that is thorough, timely, and reliable. I trust him after our first experience and trust me, you will too.

When I decided to purchase a used RV I did some calling around to auto and RV shops about pre-​purchase inspections. What I learned is most of them do not perform complete RV inspections. Auto shops will inspect the vehicle portions but not the RV related stuff. And RV shops will inspect the RV stuff but not the vehicle functions. And you need to take the RV to their shop. Then I found a few Mobile Inspectors that will go to the RV and do an overview detailed inspection of complete RV. I am so glad I found Jim! I learned that the most important part of owning a used RV is getting a detailed inspection before the purchase so you save repair costs and … headaches! I live in San Diego but wanted to shop in Orange County/​Los Angeles too, so I had one inspector in San Diego and found Jim in Orange County. So I had the unique experience of using two different inspectors. This is when I learned how KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THOROUGH Jim really is! He was incredibly detailed and gave me excellent advice which resulted in my 1^st RV purchase, far beyond the reports I received from the guy in San Diego. I did not want to have to spend money on repairs after purchasing, and Jim’s inspection process got me to Not Buy 2 that would have required repairs, and ultimately to finding the one that was ready for me to get on the road and go. And he helped me with ideas about a reasonable price for that RV. I trust him completely! Use Jim so you get the right RV for you!

I found a great motorhome at clear choice rv from EBAY, so naturally I felt it should be inspected before I flew there and bought it.
The first company I called quoted me 1,300 dollars that was more than a round trip ticket, but i was glad when I found Jimmy on Unilocal
He found a few things wrong and the dealer worked off of the ten page inspection report to correct the issues.
