One of my favorites! The staff is awesome and the pizza is DELICIOUS! The green lantern and the Edgar Allan Poe are my go to.

Best pizza in Grandview, even though it is a little pricey for pizza, it is worth it. Also their salads are some of the best salads I have ever had. I would recommend Dewey’s 10⁄10 times. Also very family friendly atmosphere, every time I go in there is tons of families enjoying their dinner together.

I think I’ve had bad luck here. People love this spot and the two times I’ve been there have been so so. The first time I went we did a «build your own.» Definitely didn’t make the right choices. In particular their sausage topping was not appetizing. Second time we do half and half(a GREAT feature by them). Half is classic pepperoni and that was a win. Other half was Hawaiian and here came the disappointment again. Their version of Canadian bacon is an uncooked deli slice of ham slapped on the pizza. So for short? Not sure what to do! I love the environment and people seem to love it. Maybe I’m doing the wrong things???

Every time it’s an excellent experience at deweys! The servers & managers are always aware and very friendly. They go above & beyond and the pizzas are fabulous! We prefer to sit at the bar and the selection of craft beers & wine is very good. Highly recommend!

Dewey’s is a great pizza place if you have either a large party and you don’t want to order from a chain… or if you just want a chill pizza night. I have enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza and the Green Lantern. I remember I was here with my bf, and we ordered the philly cheese steak pizza? It was very odd and tasted unpleasant. I would not try that again. The pizza is fine for what it is, but the flavors can fall flat sometimes or be completely off. The candied walnut and grape salad was spot on, though! Parking can be annoying as there aren’t too many spots in the surrounding lot. I would suggest to come early so you’ll beat the dinner crowd.

Awesome pizza!!! We came here and split a caesar salad and Dr. Dre pizza tomato sauce instead of olive oil. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. The service was quick and friendly. Pricey, but you get what you pay for!

Dewey’s has the best«classic» pizza in town, and it all starts with their dough! The crust is fluffy and light, but still thick– I could eat it all day! We started with the Harvest Salad, and it would be the one I recommend every time. The figs were on fleek, and the goat cheese was fresh, creamy, and mild. You can order your pizzas by halves, so we got a large ½ Veggie ½ Caprice. The pizza came out piping hot, and it was as comforting as I’d want a pizza to be! There are tons of choices, and you can create your own, so I’ll experiment with something new next time! I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had dessert, and even more pleased to know it was pistachio cheesecake! The way the pistachio complemented the cheesecake, with neither overpowering the other, was absolutely perfect!

The pizza is good, you will pay handsomely for it. I love pizza more than anything but I only have Dewey’s when someone else has bought it. I recommend the buffalo chicken pizza. If you’re able to spend the extra cash — go for it! Otherwise explore some of Columbus’ pizza places a little more budget friendly.

Dewey’s is terrific. The pizza is delicious: great crust(perfect combo of chewy and crunchy), quality ingredients, and it comes out fast. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly, and the cooks in back kept our son entertained while he watched them through the windows. For a pizza place, it’s not cheap but it’s worth it.

I’ve had Dewey’s bookmarked for some time now. My first encounter with DP was at Slice of Columbus(about a month ago). They had small squares of their Porky Fig pizza. Had me hooked. So lately, they’ve been in the back of my mind. Since it was cold and drizzling rain on a Friday nite, what better time to get pizza than now. The inside of this joint is nothing to gawk at. Tables and booths. An open kitchen. We made it here a few minutes before the 5 pm rush, and got seated right away. Our waitress was upbeat and bubbly. Gave us an overview of the restaurant and menu. We settled on splitting the seasonal Harvest Salad for starters. Chose a 17″ half Porky Fig, half Southwest BBQ Chicken for the main course. Decided to start with a slice of the Southwest Chicken. Nothing. I should elaborate: I couldn’t taste anything much than the sweet, slightly tangy, drizzled BBQ sauce. It apparently had a corn-and-black bean mix on top, but if I had seen the few black beans, I would have never guessed. The Porky fig was fantastic. Wonderful blend of sweet(the fig drizzle) paired with salty(Proscuito and Gorgonzola cheese crumbles). I’d come back for that pizza alone. However, it’s a seasonal pizza, so I don’t know how long it will be on the menu. If it was under their specialty pizzas permanently, it’d be back in due time. I unfortunately had higher hopes for DP. The crust was light and fluffy, but no district flavor. Don’t think the food could reel me back in, on my own accord. You win some, you lose a bit of your pep with others. Who knows, maybe the slices are top-notch leftovers.

Awesome place! My friends and I were planning on going to local cantina last Saturday but it ended up being so packed so we decided to move on. After walking around looking for a plan b and only finding long waits and high prices, we ended up at Dewey’s. So glad we did. I had a calzone with tomatoes, pepperoni, cheese, sauce and fresh basil. Delicious. And it’s a really good size too. I only ate half of it. Calzones are $ 8 and you can choose 3 ingredients to add. Extra ingredients cost extra. Pizza prices are a little high(about $ 15 for an 11 inch pizza) but the calzone was a good deal. They will half any pizza you want, even if the sauces are different. My two friends order pizza and they were going to just each get an 11in but our waiter told them it would actually be cheaper to get a bigger pizza and do it half and half. Their pizza looked delicious. Service was awesome. They seem to have more of a team approach to serving. We didn’t just have a single server but the whole wait staff stopping by our table to see if we needed anything or to refill drinks. At times it’s a little too much but I would MUCH rather have extra attention than to be ignored. Definitely going back!

It almost hurts my heart to give a pizza place a 3 star, but it just wasn’t my kind of pizza. We got the Wild Mushroom pizza and it was kind of foul tasting and some bites crunched that shouldn’t have. I get really nauseous when I feel like there is crunch, where there shouldn’t be because it reminds of eating dirt or eggshells, which I accidentally did as a kid and I was sick for hours afterward. My husband said it was the worst pizza he’s ever had. But the reason I gave them a 3 and not a 1 is because I truly feel we just got the wrong specialty. I think maybe the variety mushrooms gave the pizza that foul taste that we weren’t expecting. I’m hoping to try this place again and get a different specialty and hopefully my review will go up. But until then, this is my honest review.

My last two experiences with Dewey’s has been underwhelming. This most recent visit I got take out, and put in an order for a 17″ half Meatball, half Ryan’s Inferno. We also went with a small Greek salad. The lady over the phone was nice enough, and it took only 15 minutes or so for our order to be ready. The 17″ pizzas are pretty darn big, and it’d definitely be hard to split between just two people, so if you’re not overly hungry, I’d stick with a 13″ if you’re just splitting it. My biggest complaint with Dewey’s, and I noticed it the previous time as well, is that they hardly put any toppings on the pizza. I don’t care how great your toppings are if there’s hardly enough on each slice. Everything’s in small patches too. Can we not spread out the toppings a bit to get a more consistent bite? See picture below. Despite all that, I liked the taste of the meatballs well enough, but the buffalo chicken in the Ryan’s Inferno, as well as the minimal toppings, was not that impressive. Were you running out of red onion? Also, the ranch comes on the side, which is okay I guess even though there’s hardly any, just thought I’d point that out. My favorite part of the pizza was the crust, because the dough was actually super tasty. My girlfriend really liked the roasted red pepper vinaigrette on the salad as well. I now remember why I don’t eat here more often. If I’m going to be dropping $ 22 on one large pizza, I better be getting a damn good pizza and not one skimping out on the toppings. With the amount of competition in the area now for artisanal pizza, this just isn’t going to fly for me. If someone else is having it and offers me a slice, I won’t turn it down, but if I’m buying, I’ll stick to Pies and Pints.

I used Unilocal today looking for an excellent pizza restaurant for me and my 3 children. We picked Dewey’s as they had great ratings. We were impressed with the atmosphere, service, food, and drink. My oldest daughter said the lemonade was«one of thr best she has ever had». The kids said the crust was the«best ever», and«The pizza was amazing». We will be coning here again, and will have to bring mom too!

My first visit to this location and completely enjoyed it. Went on a Friday night with a party of 8 and were at our table in 15 minutes. Service was good. Beer selection was very local and the pizza and salads were delicious.

My husband and I love Dewey’s for their calzones. It’s what we get every time we go and it never disappoints. There’s just something about a calzone that tastes better than pizza to me. I love that they have such a great variety of toppings. My favs are artichoke and whole garlic. And if you’re a garlic fan, definitely get the garlic & oil dipping sauce. So. Good! Service is always very good here and having a parking lot is another perk.

Oh. My. Delicious. The calzones are heaven. You might need help eating it as it fits in a medium pizza box, but believe me. You won’t want to share!!! Their specialty pizzas are also very tasty and different than most pizza places, but if you want to build your own they have TONs of toppings to choose from!!! Mmmmm so good. Yet so bad

When i think of Deweys, i dont think of normal pizza. I think fresh. The first time me and my lady got pizza from there, i just remember opening the box and not seeing a huge grease ball, but a fresh, delicious looking pizza that wasnt seeping through the bottom of the box! It was wonderful. Their different pizza types are so unique & tastey, and you can even split the pizzas half and half, even if you want different sauces! Its crazy. Ive also become a huge fan of their calzones. Basically same story as the pizzas. A delicious calzone minus the pound of grease. The calzones are served with a big hole in the middle which is kind of weird, but it helps you find out who’s is who’s when you get it to go. So i didnt mind. Great pizza place that doesnt make you feel crappy after you eat it!
