I used to move furniture for a living, so I know very well how professional moving companies should conduct business. We always let people know their charges up front. If anything was ever damaged, we brought the owner to see the damage and even helped file the proper claim forms.
This company did exactly the opposite. First off, I know how long it should take to load & unload the items I had to move so I overestimated so there would be no rush, and reserved the moving company ahead of time.
A father/​daughter team was sent, which is fine, but more of the family came with them and stayed in the car. I did have to help move a couple of the larger items because the daughter could not physically lift them. They took substantially longer then they should have, AND charged for additional driving time even though the order specifically said they would not… Oh, and they did not bring this up until the end of the day.
They got in a hurry and decided to not wrap my dining room table before placing it on the truck. Even though there was a stack of moving blankets just outside the door. This resulted in damage to the top and legs. They carried the table into the house and hurried up and covered the damage with a box. I didn’t see it until they had left and I began unpacking my boxes. I thought it was strange they had carried every other box to the appropriate room but this box was left on the table. Now I know why.
The most important interaction of this whole experience was this: When I contacted the company, they said the mover said he didn’t damage anything (which was absolutely untrue) so they didn’t have to reimburse me??? What??? I can’t imagine dismissing a claim like this.
As I said before, I was in this industry, working for one of the national companies, and we would NEVER treat a client this way. Additionally, I have personally moved numerous times in my career, and have utilized the services of both large and small companies… I have never left a bad review… This was exceptional and thought others should know.

Ben and Francisco helped me move early January 2016. The move was very efficient and they took care to make sure my items were not damaged. They made it look easy! I really appreciate the timeliness and professionalism they exhibited. Excellent job!
