Custom Made by Lilly

Having worked with Lilly for the past 20 years I have only good things to say about her business skills. She always stands by her work and has always made every effort to make sure that my clients are happy and as an interior designer I am confident and delighted to be able to refer her workroom to my clients and friends.

Bring your couch (no matter how big or how much it weighs) to Lilly if you need a slipcover. We have a sleeper sofa and brought the existing slipcover, without being made aware of the fact that without the actual couch, this wouldn’t suffice. We would have paid the $ 50 charge upfront for a visit so that she could make measurements, had we known.
The slipcover did not fit and for the cost at $ 1940, we could have purchased a new couch. We had to pay an additional $ 50 for Lilly to pick up the slipcover to fix it and after three variations, we have a slipcover that is not worth the money that we paid. The velcro was incorrect (used the wrong side so it didn’t stick to the couch), one of the arms was made wider than the other, etc.
Greatest disappointment is that Lilly did not stand by her work. She was increasingly unpleasant and refused to credit us for the many iterations of the slipcover, even though the wrong velcro, uneven arms, and the fact that the slipcover did not fit was her fault. She told us, the customer, that it was our fault because we didn’t bring her the couch. And that it is «just a slipcover.»
Beware.

This morning we will be taking another piece of furniture to Lilly for a slipcover. We have been going to Lilly for years and have referred friends and family members to her for slipcovers, drapes etc. Lilly doesnt just do beautiful work at reasonable rates. She also has an eye for color and design. She has been so helpful to us in making our home beautiful and tasteful. Lilly has a lovely personality and is so easy to work with. Her shop always delivers a wonderful result and always on time. I would never go anywhere else.

Lilly has a natural eye for design. She has had a hand in almost every room in my home (literally every room except the bathrooms!). Her work is very high-​quality and she’ll keep working with you until the piece is perfect. Lilly and her team are all very sweet and it’s been a pleasure working with them :)

Lily does an excellent job on all her projects. She has created beautiful window coverings, valances, drapes, pillows, bedspreads, duvet covers, slipcovers for sofas and reupholstery. I usually have a picture of what I want with the fabric and she figures out how to achieve the look. Right now we are working on a chair and ottoman project. Lily does excellent work at a very reasonable cost. Thanks to Lily my home looks beautiful.

I have been using Lilly for years to make slipcovers and pillows for staging. She is prompt and courteous. She often suggests new ideas or details. The quality of the work is great and always done on time. I highly recommend her.

It is such a pleasure to do business with Lilly. I went in to her shop to order custom drapes for my sliding glass door in my master bedroom. I wasn’t sure what type of fabric I wanted but Lilly was so helpful. She pulled out several samples and offered good advice. She made an appointment to come to my home the following day. She arrived promptly and was so kind. She told me the drapes would be completed in one week and they were. She arranged for her installer to come out and install the drapes and he too was prompt and installed the drapes perfectly. Lilly called the next day to make sure I was satisfied with the drapes. Now that’s customer service! I would definitely order from Lilly again.

Lilly has been making slipcovers for me for years and I have always been pleased with her work. She also has made custom valances and draperies which are beautiful. She is super reasonable, can help you work out the details of your piece and is very friendly and helpful. Give her a call, you will not be disappointed!

What a pleasure to do business with Lilly! The quality of her work is phenomonal and her prices are fair. She recently made slipcovers for two old chairs, built back up the seats, and the slipcovers are so well done they look upholstered. Lilly has made curtains, slipcovers and valances for me.
