Sales review [0/​5 stars] Used their website to find three used car options that I was very interested in. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon.
Waited over an hour. There are no chairs to wait.
The salesman who I met with was overly casual to a point where I felt like I was putting him out. He wasn’t knowledgeable about the new vehicles. When I pulled up the three used options, he simply read the features off the web posting. And had an attitude when I said I’d already read them.
None of the three options were available as they were all incorrect postings from other dealerships (e.g. Kansas). Really? How does that even happen? All three?! Another I was interested was sold days before.
The site can’t be managed real time with accurate information? That’s the basics. C’mon.
Service review [5/​5 stars for the employees (mechanic and salesperson) and ²⁄₅ for price] Having previously owned a Kia Sportage, I’d been using Hendricks Kia a few doors down and always had a great experience… after sales here were awful, I was hesitant to take my new used 2005 Dodge Ram when the engine heat light went on. However, Jason Tarlowe did a great job. He was personable and dealt professionally with my gruff roughness at not being stoked to have repairs after just having purchased my vehicle at Hendrick SC two weeks previous.
The issue was the price. Parts and labor ranged 45% higher than another dealer. All the parts were available at O’Reily Auto (e.g. their price for thermostat was $ 55 compared to $ 17 for the exact same item or $ 227 compared to $ 91). They did agree to let me get the parts and only pay for labor; however, Griffin Brothers quoted me $ 600 less than Hendrick for the same parts and labor.
No complaints about the Service Department service even if I’d never step foot in the sales aside again. They’d be fine for an oil change.

Slow doesn’t even begin to explain it. Dropped off my truck for an oil change and inspection. They left me at a restaurant for 2.5 hours, I got an über back to the dealership just to be told they would put my truck in immediately and it would only be 25 – 30 minutes. This is awful service, especially since I tried to make an appointment so I wouldn’t have to deal with this and they wouldn’t let me make one. BS pure BS

The stereotypical car dealer that gives others a bad name. Liars. Bait and switch. Krista quoted me 22 500 on a car Saturday and then yesterday Omou and her manager went to 25k. Meanwhile I lost a better car for 23k. Avoid their deceptions.
Then 4 different people call me to see how they could earn my business. Total Charlie Foxtrot.

I’ve never written a review before for anything because usually I can get over bad service. However, today was something else. My brand new Jeep Wrangler was making a rattling/​cricket noise when I was in drive but at a complete stop. When I arrive I was actually laughed at when I described the problem by service advisor, James Bullard. He was incredibly rude with everything I said. Then goes to «check out the noise» and comes back with a metal bottle that was apparently under my seat. He says this was making the noise hands it to me and says «honey you do know what happens when metal hits metal right? It makes a noise.» No sh$&! Then proceeds to tell me my yoga leggings that are on the back floorboard of my car were also making the noise… I left, car still making the noise, without fixing it because he wouldn’t stop rolling his eyes at me and smirking when I said anything. He needs an attitude check. I can’t be the only person James has treated like this. If Hendricks cares at all about customer satisfaction they need to re-​eval him as someone who works with customers all day. I’ll be going to Lake Norman Jeep tomorrow instead.
UPDATE: just spoke with the manager, Richmond, and he was very apologetic and made me feel better about the company as a whole. I did end up going to Keffer actually the day after and they got everything sorted out for me in under an hour. Great guy I worked with too. I think his name was Ryan.

Don’t waste your time making an appointment to meet with a rep. I arrived at 3pm for my scheduled appointment just to be told the rep is off and they don’t have anyone else to help me. I’ll take my business to lake Norman jeep.

Awesome dealership! Had one guy always said $ 10,000 or they won’t look at the application. But today best experience ever at a dealership the best ever, finally got out of my car. Thank you Francina Santamaria for a great car buying experience and getting me out of my trade. Absolutely great fast, attentive and honest about weather or not a deal may be made.

They will not and did not attempt to honor the Internet price listed on a wrangler that was listed on their website. (the vehicle had been sold anyway) Instead they tried to sell me a lesser model at a higher price! Was told the e-​price was for military! And I won’t even go into to run around i was given about financing. (great credit by the way) Needless to say, left after 4 hours of nonsense. Went home and got on the Internet, did a little more research and found exactly what I wanted at another jeep dealer (without saying the name, lets just say its just across the «state line»;).
And guess what, that e-​price was honored without hesitation or mention of being in the military (hmmm)?! Financed with Chrysler capital at much lower rate than I was offered less than 24 hours ago. In at 10 a m and drove off the lot at 1:35pm!The people at HENDRICKS are extremely friendly crooks. Oh they told me the model I wanted was very hard to find and the closest one was coming from Georgia! But I found it 5 miles from home.

Without a doubt, this deal got off on the wrong foot, but wait, I did give this business five stars so please read on. After several hours of my time wasted at another Jeep dealership, just south of the N.C./S.C. state line, as soon as I thought I sniffed something rotten in my dealings with Hendrick Jeep I was out the door (or off of the phone as the case may be). So, as hard as this is to admit the fault here partially lies at my feet. Through the dedicated professional work of Kristin Lents, Paul Boyd, Paul Conard and Stan Boyd we were brought back to «the table» and a happy deal was struck. My wife now proudly drives the car of her dreams (’16 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara). Many thanks to Hendrick Jeep for making my wife a happy girl!

Thanks for selling me a brand new car with no windshield wash in it. Just filled it up and it’s still not working. You guys are just the best.

I don’t have high expectations for a service dept, but you managed to deliver an even worse experience than expected. I stopped in to get an «express» oil change on my new Jeep. I am told that the wait for an «express» oil change is 2.5 hrs. Ok, fine– no biggie… I’ll just get a loaner car and leave my Jeep there all afternoon. Nope! No loaners available for oil changes or recalls (which I also had to get taken care of). Ok, no worries. I’ll just make an appointment and come back another day this week. Nope! I am informed that I cannot make an appointment for an oil change or software recall. So– I am just supposed to hope and pray that the next time I come in that there isn’t 2.5 hr wait for a «express» oil change? Good job Jeep, you managed to deliver a worse experience than the NC DMV. Congrats.

If I could, I would give this dealership 0 stars. My husband and I have bought 3 cars here and we will not return for a 4^th. I regret the day my husband and I walked in and bought a brand new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Everything about this experience was horrible and I feel extremely cheated and disrespected by the entire dealership in both sales and service. First off, we bought a Jeep Cherokee Latitude for 30k with all these fancy features like the automatic lift gate, back up cam, automatic start, V6 engine, etc. Well the next week they’re advertising the exact same jeep with the exact same features for 5K less than we bought it for. We called and asked about it and basically said sorry, we can’t do anything for you. So I’m already feeling cheated and as if they stole 5,000 dollars from me. Then…
This brand new Jeep that we bought because we wanted a nice new reliable car starts having issues within the first month or so. Which include…
Loud rattling in the dash
passenger window stuck
drivers’s side window squeaking
heat not working properly and blowing out only the hottest air regardless of the setting
hard transmission shifting while parking, decelerating and stopping
They fixed some of the issues and I was there for 4 hours and then said I needed to bring it back in or leave it there. They would not give me a loaner car and I had to ask people to drop me off and pick me up a few times that week. Not what I was expecting with a new car. They never fixed the heat issue, they said it was a software issue that couldn’t be fixed until an update came out.: /​
Several months go by and…
button in steering wheel to control the radio is malfunctioning
whole care vibrates and makes a horrible noise when turning left (find out it’s something to do with the seat not being bolted into the frame properly)
They had to order these parts so they asked me to leave the car with them for a few days. They again refused to give me a loaner car. They instead pay for you to get an enterprise car but… they don’t pay for the recommended insurance that covers the car. So we ended up paying $ 65 to get a crappy rental car for 2 ¼ days and had to go back and forth to this dealership and enterprise all week. Such a hassle! They fixed the seat but not the button, they ordered the wrong part and said I would have to bring it in again when it came in. Which I didn’t because I knew it would take hours to fix.
This Month…
the automatic seat button has broke and I can’t adjust the seat
the button in the steering wheel is still not fixed bc they ordered the wrong part last time
the heat is still not fixed
the transmission is still shifting poorly after the last update
there are 2 – 3 recalls that need to be addressed
They have had the car since Saturday, they said it would be ready today (Wednesday) so I planned to have a ride to the dealership. Now they can’t have it done until tomorrow and they won’t give me a loaner car. I can’t pick up the car until Sunday because I am a nurse and I work 12 hour shifts the next 3 days. I just got back from a week long trip, I have no car to get to work and pretty much my only option is to pick up the car on Monday because they’re closed Sunday. Which means I will be paying $ 20 a day to have a rental car I don’t want, and will have to again use my day off to pick up my lemon of a car.
Just don’t bother buying a car from this dealership. It’s nothing but headaches & lies. I should have stuck with my 10 year old Volvo which I had 0 issues with and never had to bring it in for any repairs except for scheduled maintenance. Buying this Jeep from this dealership was the dumbest thing I have ever done and now I’m stuck with this junk car that breaks every few months and I have to spend my days off dealing with this garbage. This is the first dealership I have ever encountered who has treated poorly, doesn’t have loaner cars and doesn’t even wash your car when you take it in. I will definitely never buy another car from here or ever give business to any other Hendrick dealerships.

I live in Massachusetts and on the Saturday before Columbus Day I towed a Uhaul trailer to Charlotte NC to visit family. I had learned the lights on the trailer weren’t working so I checked the hitch plugs to find no power and no blown fuses. I walked into Hendrick Jeep on Saturday morning and explained if I didn’t get the hitch wiring to work, it would cost me over $ 200.00 to leave the trailer. They were completely booked but said if I left my jeep they would see if they could fit it in. Later that afternoon, Service Advisor Tom DeFeo called to say they found the problem and fixed the wiring and asked me who installed the hitch. I explained I had it installed at Harr Chrysler Jeep in Worcester MA. He then said that because I went to a dealer I had expected it would be done right and it should have been. He then said he would not charge me the normal $ 175.00 to install a towing module and program computer to recognize the hitch, which is what Harr did not do. He designated the work under warranty, said there was no charge and I could pick up any time. I can’t say enough for the integrity of Hendrick Jeep in Concord, NC. Knowing I lived 800 miles away and would likely never return for service, they went above and beyond my wildest expectation. I had originally picked Hendrick because my daughter-in-law’s sister took her car to Hendrick Volkswagen exclusively. If you ever are in need of service in the Concord, NC area, don’t even hesitate to go to Hendrick Jeep. I have never had an experience at a dealership like this before.

after having bad experience after bad experience with another Jeep dealership in town, I was willing to drive the additional 60 minutes round trip to try out Hendrick to have my Jeep looked at.
The staff there was very professional and I never once felt like they were trying to squeeze any $$ of out me. In fact, they kept my vehicle for 3 days to try to replicate the problem and gave me a loaner vehicle of the same caliber without any question. Because they were not able to replicate the issue during my Jeep’s weekend stay, they couldn’t not replace the part in question due to Chrysler warranty regulations.
Although my car was looked at and tinkered with all weekend, I was not charged a dime.
The lobby is clean, and comfortable. There is bottled water, coffee and popcorn available as well. Both times I’ve been there, I’ve plugged in my laptop and was able to get a substantial about of work done at one of their work stations.
I was so happy with the service, I actually went back this weekend to get my oil changed there. And BONUS! for checking in with Unilocal I got an instant coupon!

We like the Jeep Cherokee but we are on our 2^nd 30 day tag that expired 6÷12÷15. The dealership wanted more money to have it registered in Indiana, because that’s where my husband’s company is located. The company told them they would not give them more money and low and behold they said we figured out how to register it in NC. They told us Monday (6÷15÷15) that they would overnight the tag. Well, my husband called and left a message this AM (6/​19/​15,). No call back and no tag. Needless to say, if we get a ticket for a lapse tag, Hendricks will get the bill.

Pretty large volume of vehicles. Was contemplating buying a new dodge ram pickup… but $ 56,000 for a truck good grief!!!

We looked at a jeep and the lowest price they would give me was more than the Internet listed price. Then they said they would honor the Internet price but wouldn’t budge from there on a new vehicle. If you have the money to waste on list prices with no negotiations this is your place but trust me there are better deals out there. The sales manager then chased me to the door and gave the hard sale runaround. Shop around

I had an electrical problem with my dodge 04 so I had it taken to a dodge dealership don’t u know they was trying to get me to pay a 1.800,00 dollar charge for stuff that was not wrong with my vehicle all I wanted was the ground wires replaced or just connected properly to my vehicle and that alone cost me over 400,00 dollars then I look at the sheet they gave me and they added my fan my radiator and my fan clutch and go to find out they didn’t even fix the horn or the relay switch to my horn but mind u I just paid these people over 400,00 dollars to ground two wires that’s it. these people are good because they know how to rip u off in front of your face.

Go to a smaller dealership that cares about customer service and actually listening to what you need. The only thing amazing about Hendrick of concord is it’s appearance.

My Father in Law was in town visiting and decided that he wanted to buy a new car. We went to two to other Dodge dealerships in town and no one could match the price that we got on a new Durango at Hendrick Dodge. Everyone made us feel so comfortable there from the moment we walked in. The sales staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We were in and out in a couple of hours. They had exactly what he wanted.
