Slow to respond to emails and phone calls. When i finally got the callback, the technician came out and estimated that it would cost me about $ 2k to replace my sprinkler system. I know I look young and live in a high class neighborhood, but don’t try to hustle me… jackass! When asked why it would cost that much, this fool tried to start off w/​$ 250 to replace my sprinkler system! When I pulled up the model on Amazon it was $ 60. I have 4 valves so thats about 5 wires (4 for each valve and the power line)…and you mean to tell me you want $ 190 for unscrewing 4 screws and replacing the unit? GTFO! I ended up doing it myself. spent $ 150 so far and all my units work fine.
I hope you read this man… because you need to realize that people that live in high class neighborhoods shouldn’t be overcharged! POS!

I, unfortunately, had a very different experience with this company. I had very long delays between emails (days and days with no reply) and then needed to email again for a quote for service. After the quote finally came, a time was set by Green Thumb to service the yard. I put the promised date of service down on my weekly schedule before some travel.
Then, the date that was agreed upon comes and nearly goes. My yard has not been touched and no crews are around. I called the number to the company and I got their answering machine. I left a message stating that no one came by and the sun is almost down. Please give me a call to let me know what is going on. I get no call and I email the company the same message. Then, I get fed up that I have had to pull teeth to get a quote and now have no one show up or call me to let me know what is going on. I leave another email to let them know not to bother with the service. The whole idea with the service is to pay for the time and peace of mind to know things are done with lawn care.
Almost immediately, I get a response by having a crew show up at my door with the sun nearly set, and a phone stuffed into my hands. It is Green Thumb on the phone saying they are behind and were going to come the day after promised but did not call or email to notify me of this. They were not sure why I was upset about them not following through or communicating that they were not going to come on the date that they themselves proposed. So, the yard is cut and the next day I find that the guys (not Jerry) did not trim the bushes and trees as was part of their 80 dollar charge for front and back cut with fertilizer. I email again making this statement and ask when they can come back to finish. Silence was their response again. However, when I followed up with a question about payment methods the response time was within one day. I paid their fees, but I would highly recommend that you pick another lawn service provider due to price, poor service (not completing the job and charging for it anyways), and poor communication.

Wow!!! What a metamorphosis of our front yard!!! Can’t say enough positive about the service, care, creativity, professionalism, and personality behind the Green Thumb business (Jerry). We have owned our home for 25 years, and it was in dire need of a makeover. Jerry came in and completely re-​organized our landscape from top to bottom. He did a fabulous job and we couldn’t be happier. Will definitely have him back for the backyard. Thank you!!!

Jerry and team were very responsive to emails and phone calls, they worked fast and efficiently, and they did an affordable makeover on the backyard sod and flower beds at my rental property… I got an offer on the house immediately after. Thanks Jerry!

Jerry and his crew did a fantastic job on our front & back yards. We are trying to get our house on the market soon so I met with him on a Thursday and his crew started Friday evening and finished on Saturday. I’ve never seen a group work so hard and the results were terrific!

Very professional and great to deal with. They come every two weeks as agreed and the team does and excellent job.

In the past, we have had the worst time finding a good, and reliable yard maintenance company. Then we found Green Thumb! They maintain two properties for us. They are really professional, do a great job and are reasonably priced too. If we have any questions we just call and Penny in the office who is so nice and helpful gets right back to us with a response. It’s a relief to be able to hire a company and then not have to worry, and receive great customer service too! I wish more companies were like this one :)
