OMG they saved my life seriously love them!

Called and arranged to have Lice Control take care of my daughter’s issue, spoke with «Erin.» She was very helpful, friendly and informative… their prices were reasonable in comparison to other quotes. We were scheduled to head over the next morning, but in the meantime daughter’s mom already arranged for an appt. elsewhere.
The next day I called back to cancel and Erin was very understanding, but most impressive, Erin still went out of her way to go over post removal chores I needed to do. Even though we were not going to use their services, Erin spent nearly 15 minutes on the phone with me giving me tips, advice and things to look for, never once trying to lure me back to their place.
To me, being that nice and helpful for free, knowing we just cancelled on them unexpectedly says a lot about a person and where they work. Hopefully I will never have need for such a service again, but if I do, it will be Lice Control, hopefully with Erin, and I will not cancel.

Love this place! So knowledgable and friendly and helpful and got all of the little nits out of my daughter’s hair. They have one of those dryers that suck everything out. Definitely worth the money to make sure these pests are completely gone.

DO NOT go here! They are overpriced and did not get all the lice out of my daughter’s hair. When I called about it, the owner was a total jerk. I took my daughter to Bernadette’s at the Beach and they are amazing! Don’t waste your time and $ 200 at this place! Go to Bernadette’s FIRST!!!

Have had to visit twice now for treatments and this place is as good as it gets!

So I have had a battle with the owners of Lice Control. I was not satisfied with their work and knew I still had lice. I went to someone that they recently had fired but in a previous visit, I knew her work to be better than the manager. So I went to Lice Control on Tuesday the 16^th, and knew that the girl did not do a thorough job. She only took 40 minutes to do my head and I have long, thick, curly hair. Didn’t tip her hoping she got the hint. Went to the former employee who had worked at Lice Control for a year and she took one hour and 40 minutes to do my head and was much more thorough. She found 3 adult lice, and about 50 nits. She said there was no way I should have had that old of bugs on my head if Lice Control were thorough. For $ 100, they better be! I called Lice Control to let them know about the problem and they referred me to the owner. The owner was a complete witch with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS whatsover. She did say she would let me come in for free and made me an appt for a few days later. The next day, she called and left me a message that she cancelled my appt because I did not follow their recommendations for maintenance. Actually, I did by going to their ex-​employee on Sunday. But since she said in her message that there was nothing further to discuss and not to call back, I will honor her request. She then typed up a letter and sent it to the ex-​employee threatening her because she was «taking Lice Control’s clients.» My personal information was included. Um, excuse me, crazy lady, but you fired her, so she can do whatever she wants. She’s not your employee anymore. I have already told many of my friends to not give Lice Control their business. I have the name and number of the ex-​employee who does a fabulous job., and who, by the way, did not get fired for work performance. If you want her info, let me know. She’s working for herself now and much cheaper and thorough than Lice Control.

Here is my story/​nightmare that has a happy ending with the help of Lice Control!
It started with my 5 year old itching her head at the doctors office while getting medicine for strep throat. The Doctor gave us the prescription for the lice and sent me home with quick stated instructions on how to get them out on my own at home.
I went home and put the medication on her head for one hour with a shower cap on, washed it out and proceeded to come through her hair for 5 hours going to bed at midnight. After taking apart the couch to put in the washer along with ALL our sheets and clothes. Oh yea and throwing away anything and everything that had to do with hair or her head. Woke up the next morning to find another moving lice on her head… here we go again! so I repeated the process for 6 hours that morning!
Thought we were done… two days later, I found more eggs… Needless to say, I was crying. Someone at work told me about a place in Costa Mesa called Lice control and got in that morning thank goodness.
They were very sweet, educated, understanding and calming! They were the answers to my prayers. Since they were looking at my 5 year old, I thought I would get my 3 year old and myself checked… Just in case!
Yes…We all three had LICE! We all got treated that day and 5 days later… NO MORE LICE. I wish I knew about Lice Control from the beginning, only my 5 year old would have had it, i wouldn’t have had to throw away everything and I would have only had to do one load instead of 20 loads of laundry.
I would recommend Lice Control to EVERYONE I KNOW. Please call them 1^st it will save you lots of money and time… I promise you !!!
