We specialize in the elimination of ants, rodents, termites (and other wood destroying organisms), cockroaches, stored product insects, fleas, mites, bed bugs, spiders and other casual invaders.

Our mission is to restore your peace of mind by ridding (not just «controlling») your home or business of these and numberous other invaders.

When we arrive at your home or business we don’t just rush to start spraying, baiting or dusting your property. Our primary goal is to educate our clients about not just the target pests, but also discuss the culture of the property & suggest how the customer could make modifications necessary.

History

Established in 1995.

Every structure and its surrounding cultural environment is different. That’s why we survey the property in person in order to recommend a type of service procedure that will most effective in eliminating the target pest that has invaded.

For example, the majority of our clients initially called because they were being invaded by ants, which is the number one invader in this part of California. After the ants crash and die, many continue on a regular service maintenance program. Those who do, will not be troubled by ants again. We guarantee it.

Many of our clients signed on with us because they had multiple invaders, such as rats, mice, fleas, and roaches; you name it. We tailored a control program just for them.

Most of our residential and non-​food commercial customers are on a monthly (if rodents are part of the program), or a bi-​monthly service program. The frequency of follow-​up regular services is customized, depending on target pest (s) and the cultural environment.

My name is Carl Fisher, owner & chief technician. It is hard, even for me, to believe that I have been in my industry for 49 years.

Very disappointed. First contact was good, and I thought this was a good company based on the Unilocal reviews. But they’re not.
I had a major ant problem at my house and called New Systems. Carl answered the phone and was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. He said those were Argentinian ants, and they’re all over the LA area, and he knows how to get rid of them. He agreed to send me his best man, Jesus, the next day. Jesus came out, exactly on time, and also seemed very knowledgeable and very professional. He was using shoe covers inside the house to make sure he didn’t soil our floors. He looked around, told us what our problem was, and said he was going to spray outside to prevent the ants from coming in, then he was going to come inside to spray the ants he could find. He did all that in about 30 minutes, told me the ants would still appear here and there for 2 or 3 days, but then they would be gone. He charged me $ 135. I asked for an invoice and he said he would email it to me, so I gave him my email address. I asked him about his warranty, and he said the warranty is 30 days.
After he left, things really went wrong. First, he never sent me the invoice he had promised me. Second, within a few hours, we had a lot more ants than before. We did find a few dead ants here and there, but the live ones kept coming in greater and greater numbers. I waited 3 days, then I called both the New Systems office and Jesus’ cellphone. I left messages saying whatever they did didn’t work and they had to come back. Nobody ever returned my call.
Now it’s been seven days since Jesus came here and we still have a ton of ants, especially in our kitchen.
These people just don’t take care of their customers…

Great experience from start to end. Jesus and his assistant thoroughly checked the property for termite– circulated the house and garage, went under the house and in the attic. They went above and beyond other companies. Although they found termite mainly in the garage, I opted for a full tent to give me peace of mind. The tenting guys were great too!!!
Carl has the old world charm and I loved chatting away with him.
He and Maria were responsive to all emails and concerns.
I can’t ask for a better service!!!

This is a seriously honest company. I called yesterday because I’d been seeing some weird dusty stuff under my couch that made me think something was eating it. These guys came today, showed up right on time, and immediately ID’ed the problem as termites in the wood frame of the couch. He said he could take care of it today if I wanted. As he carefully started to pull the couch apart to treat, he saw that the damage was extensive and suggested getting rid of the couch rather than treating. Then he vacuumed all the termite dust and very carefully put the couch back together, shook my hand and left. It would have been so easy for him to recommend treating it just to make the sale, but they didn’t. REALLY impressed, and they took so much care with my home and my belongings. I would highly recommend these guys, and definitely call them again… though hopefully I’ll never have another pest problem.

It took two weeks to get our inspection results back. Since then I left two messages to have the recommended treatment implemented, once I got a machine and once I left a message with a live person, and a week later I haven’t heard back. Mostly, I’m just irritated that they have wasted my time. I would not recommend if you are in any kind of hurry.

During the terrible winds yesterday a swarm of small flies were swept through my large front door while the Fed Ex man delivered. I noticed thousands of these bugs up inside my front room skylights and all over the floor… Not realizing why they were there I called New Systems and Carl explained the way they came in the door and that I could get rid of them myself with an over the counter product. He explained in detail the bug as he had me take a picture on my phone and send it to his email and said they are harmless and exactly how to eradicate them.
He said he did not need to have me pay a fee as I could just spray them myself. I was so shocked that someone would give up their fee to help without anything in return. He is amazing and I will always use him and recommend him.
A month ago I called a chain exterminator and some 18 year old kid in a uniform and fancy van with tattoos came out and took a bug back to his office as he was just the collector and sprayer… A day later they called with the bug name and wanted $ 850 to spray… I looked up the bug and why I had it (dog food kibbles) and the way to get rid of it over the counter, which, I did in a day.
I am so glad this other chain outfit was bad as I will always use New Systems now with Carl…

Although I am too poor to enlist Carl’s services and I told him so as we were working to schedule an inspection — he still (on new years eve!!!) took the time to discuss home remedies and gave me the number of another family owned business that I could try, who might have a price range more suitable for us.

Professional and knowledgeable, they arrived in a timely manner, inspected the problem in our garage, and determined the cause was dry rot. They explained that the garage is made of kiln-​dried redwood, which is naturally resistant to termites. It would have been easy for them to nod their heads and say, «That’s termite damage all right», and take our money, but they didn’t.
They were so nice I wished there was some work we could send their way. I will definitely call them when we need the house inspected prior to sale.

Both I and The Brit called when we heard scuffling around the house attic and walls, but we never received a return telephone call. It’s a shame that a business rated so well doesn’t return telephone calls from potential customers. :(

In the 7 years of owning a single family residence in the Westchester/​Del Rey area, I finally experienced a problem with rats. I was a novice in this area, as I didn’t know if I had mice, rats, raccoons, or possums. I also didnt know what specific business to call to help me figure it out. I just knew there were noises that started below the house, that eventually worked its way up the walls…
I scheduled an appointment with Carl and explained this to him. He noted a few screens had to be replaced, as well as a door sweep. I was charged $ 350.00 for the «rodent proofing service» thinking I would find some peace of mind. Of course, the issue was still not resolved. In fact, one rat even chewed through one of the screens.
I called Carl again and he booked me for the following Monday. On Monday, while I was out of the country, I was told that no one from New Systems had shown up.
I’m disappointed in the amount I was charged, for the work I received, in addition to the missed appointment. I clearly communicated the problem and as a paying customer, expected a solution or at least assistance and better direction to find one.

Carl handled our commerical account with ease. We are 110,000 sq. feet in size with a big termite problem. We rec’d several bids and Carl’s was the most economical and he was the nicest. He met with us a few times before as we had to make sure that our employees followed all the rules, we had an isolated a/​c unit to worry about as well as security. He walked us thru the whole process and was amazingly patient and nice.
The weekend we chose went swimingly and would not hestiate to recommend him for any commerical account!

Like everyone else, I read the raving reviews, so I called New Systems and had the same experience. Carl was more than helpful to work around my crazy schedule and he was readily available by phone.
My tenants saw a rat in the kitchen. When Jesus came out, he advised me of all the possible entrances and said that until I could get a handyman to seal up some of the larger areas, the problem would continue. He offered to set traps, but felt it would be useless until I took care of the entrances. THEN, he screened a few minor holes for FREE.
Go figure, when in this day, does a company come out, do minor repairs, and advise, without taking any compensation!

I found New Systems on Unilocal!and I tried them because of their excellent reviews! Carl was able to squeeze us in just a day from our initial phone call. He was extremely personable on the phone and answered any «silly» questions we had.
Jesus came in the time frame promised (30 minute window) and was professional and personable. He answered my questions thoughtfully and took the time to look around my house in areas that I didn’t think of (i thought we were being infested with RATS — YUCK!) but he assured me that I wasn’t «going crazy» and that it might have come in the house through the mouth of our cat. Thanks Benson!
He put some glue traps down just in case and covered up the whole in which i thought they were entering in from. He told me he did this free of charge.
I would 100% suggest this company to anyone having any issues with bugs, critters, etc! Awesome customer service.!!

Just got off the phone with Carl — wow!!! if it weren’t for the other reviewers saying what an awesome guy he is I would have thought I’d fallen into an alternate universe!
I really hope I don’t have bed bugs (he gave me a couple tests to find out if I do…) but, if we DO have them, I wouldn’t hire anyone but Carl. The info & advice he gave me will be used the rest of my life. …such as, spraying Deet repellant on my luggage before traveling. I have a trip to Big Bear & to Costa Rica coming up — — - will be making sure I return home with the same amount of passengers who originally traveled…

Carl runs an honest and knowledgeable business. I had a mouse (or rat issue last week, and spoke to Carl about it. Man he hooked me up!
Sent over his guy, he took a look around and immediately resolved the problem (s). He made some suggestions on how to keep these little suckers out of my home… and that was that. I wasnt charged a service or consultation fee. NADA! PROBLEM SOLVED! And for that honesty I will recommend NSEC any and every time.
Now lets see if they can treat my place for termites now :-P. Call them!!!
