Highly recommend. Old school shop, cash only by the way. Really solid barbers, great hair cut for a great price. New customer but I’m a lifer now. Have to try the straight razor shave, looked great!

If you are a guy looking for a quality, no frills hair cut, then look no further. After getting bad haircut after bad haircut at any place I could find a coupon for, I decided to try this place out after hearing about it from a buddy. After my first experience I have kept going back. You get a good haircut for the same price you’d pay at any other place. It’s an old school barber shop, and everyone there has been cutting hair for pretty much their whole life. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

My boyfriend has never had a hot shave before, so I decided to get him one as part of his Christmas present! This place was fabulous! Everyone(on the phone and in person) was so friendly and welcoming. Since we were traveling, I made this appointment very last minute, but they were accommodating and still provided high quality service. I love the interior. Their individual stations are all decorated, and they have 2 old fashioned phones, which ring and just add to that old school/classic barber shop vibe. Though I worked in Highland Park Village, I never even knew this place existed until I found it on Unilocal! It isn’t easily visible, as it’s on the second floor by Patrizio’s and has very discreet signs. However, I’m glad we chose this place! I’m now considering bringing my brother-in-law here next time we’re in town! Note: Cash only

Old school Barber Shop and stylist in the Highland Park area. They offer it all here too. Hot straight shaves, mani & pedi, stylist for women, and true barbers for men. It is the kind of place you go to for a haircut and the conversation. While this was my first time to visit it certainly won’t be my last. Village Barbers has made a returning customer out of me. And thankfully I have finally found a good Barber in Dallas. FYI, cash only.

I have been a customer for more than 10 years. It’s not fancy, yet it in Highland Park Village… It has a great staff that is always upbeat, and they cut the hair of some of the most interesting people in Dalles — excluding me, of course. It’s very affordable, you can get in and out with a haircut and a shoe shine for about $ 20. Michael Parris is the guy that cuts my hair…

Legend has it that Village Barbers has been in the Highland Park Village since the mid 1930’s. I have only been going there for a few years now, but the interior looks pretty historic… Village Barbers is a classic«old-school» barber shop. The barber shop can be tricky to find. It is upstairs above the Patrizio — Italian Restaurant. I have never had a bad haircut here. This is a place where you can develop a relationship with your barber. They remember you, remember what guard to use, what your wife’s name is, etc. Besides a haircut, I also indulge in a shoe shine every once in a while. They also offer mens manicure and shave services but I have never had the need for those. I am not sure if «walk-ups» are welcome, I have always called ahead for an appointment. I have always felt welcomed and the staff is friendly and experienced. Don’t bother bringing a Credit Card, this is a CASHONLY Establishment.
